• Tuition fees • Other course fees, including equipment and trips • Accommodation • TV licence • Food and drink • Course books • Clothing, personal care and health and fitness • Mobile phone • A suitable electronic device (e.g. a laptop or tablet) with internet connectivity to access online learning • Graduation expenses such as the hire of ceremonial dress

Fees for the 2023-24 Academic Year
Tuition fees for students studying at UCBB in the academic year from September 2023 – May 2024 will be £9,250 a year for full-time degree students. Fees for part-time students are calculated on a pro rata basis. Teacher Training students studying our two-year part-time PGCE will pay just £3,500 per year. Annual course fees will remain the same for the duration of your study programme. There will be additional costs for some courses, such as trips and specialist equipment and clothing. Student loans from £3 per month*
You may be able to borrow money to help pay for tuition fees and living costs whilst you’re studying for your degree. Full details of Student Loans can be found at gov.uk/student-finance
The important thing to remember about these loans is that you make repayments based on how much you earn not how much you’ve borrowed!
Once you leave your course, you’ll only repay when your income is above the repayment threshold. The current UK threshold is £27,295 a year, £2,274 a month, or £524 a week. For example, if you earn £2,310 a month before tax, you’ll repay just £3 a month. Postgraduate loans are now also available for those studying a masters programme.
