Built in 1638, the military fortress Castillo del Morro is the eternal watchtower of the bay of Santiago de Cuba. Its military architecture of the 17th century is the best preserved in the island and was declared a World Heritage Site in 1997. Undoubtedly, a destination you must visit.

The 459 steps leading to the summit of La Gran Piedra are worth the hike just to contemplate the formidable view it offers. At 1,234 meters above sea level, the Caribbean Sea presents itself before the eyes of the visitor, as amazing and magical as its mysteries.

Diego Velázquez Museum

Se piensa que la enorme casa que alberga hoy en día al museo es la de mayor antigüedad de su tipo en Cuba. Construida en el siglo XVI, fue el hogar del famoso conquistador español y guarda en la actualidad parte de la historia cultural de la isla.

The huge house in which the museum is located today is thought to be the oldest of its kind in Cuba. Built in the 16th century, it was the home of the famous Spanish conquistador and now preserves a part of the island's cultural history.
