Al final del viaje, y en caso de ser necesario, el huésped puede solicitar una prueba de PCR al equipo médico de su hotel para poder llevar consigo a su próximo destino. Para los que viajan sin paquetes turísticos es obligatorio un periodo de cuarentena de 6 noches y 7 días, a excepción de los que lleguen al país por los aeropuertos de La Habana o Santiago de Cuba pues solo deberán estar aislados durante 5 noches y 6 días. Esta cuarentena se realizará en uno de los centros hoteleros de aislamiento que pone a disposición el país, que podrá reservarse mediante las agencias de viajes antes de su llegada a Cuba o en el buró de ventas disponible en cada aeropuerto de la isla. Estos viajeros deberán hacerse una prueba PCR al llegar al país y otra al sexto o quinto día de su aislamiento, en dependencia de la provincia por la que arriben. Dichas pruebas deberán ser negativas antes de abandonar el centro de aislamiento.
