STUDENT ACTIVITIES COUNCIL
The Student Activities Council has the following functions: • • • • •
To plan, coordinate and conduct activities to benefit and enhance the quality of student life at Bishop Fenwick High School; To hold activities and raise monies for the benefit of various charities and organizations; To provide a forum in which students may raise and discuss issues affecting student life; To serve as a liaison between the student body and the administration of the school; To listen and communicate to and with all homeroom representatives of the school.
Each spring the student body elects members of the next year’s student activities council. The Executive Board of the Student Activities Council meets on Mondays. All students are encouraged to attend these open meetings. The SAC and the administration encourage the formation of clubs and programs, provided they are in harmony with the philosophy of the school. The Student Activities Council balances the duties of the Social, Athletic and Cultural needs of the students. They plan all dances, intramural athletic competitions, spirit week, powder puff football game and other activities of student interest while encouraging the student body to voice their needs at monthly meetings.
