Shadowridge Crossing is a neighborhood in Southwest Austin featuring competitively priced homes that date back to 1997. It continued to develop over the years and offers homes in three different sections. Located west of Escarpment Blvd., Shadowridge Crossing is a quiet, roomy neighborhood that lies between Hwy 290 and Circle C North near the Y in Oak Hill. With access to Hwy 290 and Loop 1, commuting for work and play will be an easy, short drive.

Amenities in the neighborhood include a pool and tennis courts as well as nearby parks and walking paths.
Grey Rock Golf Course is a private golf course located just a short drive down Loop 1 to TX-45. Close to Shadowridge Crossing are shops and restaurants that will meet the needs of all residents.
Escarpment Village and Arbor Trails are closest, but many residents opt for a quick drive to Hill Country Galleria or Barton Springs Mall. Dining at Jack Allen’s Kitchen on Highway 71 near the Y in Oak Hill is a nice experience.
Other dining out options include Milano Café and Satellite Café. When you are ready to head downtown to the heart of the city, you’ll only need to travel about 12 miles.
If you are looking for land, Shadowridge Crossing is an area to see. Average homes in Shadowridge Crossing are 4-5 bedrooms and rest on ¼ to ½ acre lots depending on the section. Each section has its own price range. Smaller homes, between 1,900 and 2,700 square feet are located in the section just off Convict Hill Road, while the section off Escarpment offers homes that are generally above 3,000 square feet. The section of Shadowridge Crossing that is located just off FM 1826 features homes on 1 acre lots.

Most of the homes in Shadowridge Crossing are built with brick, stone, or sometimes a combination of the two in intricate patterns. They often feature noteworthy kitchens with granite countertops and stainless-steel appliances. Children living in Shadowridge are served by the Austin Independent School District and attend Mills Elementary School, Gorzycki Middle School, and Bowie High School.

Welcome to the Neighborhood
Located in southwest Austin is an established area called Shady Hollow. Composed of five sections, Shady Hollow is centered around Brodie Lane.
The earlier sections were developed in the 1970s while the final sections were built up until the early 2000s. Drawn to the traditional 20th century architecture of builders such as Doyle Wilson, DR Horton, Ryland, and Lennar, residents enjoy spacious homes on wide, tree-lined streets. Shady Hollow surrounds Brodie Lane from the south at FM 1626 and continues north to Slaughter Lane.
Community
Just north of the neighborhood, there are plenty of shops, restaurants, and entertainment opportunities easily accessible with a short car ride. In fact, many locations, both in and outside of Austin, are easy to reach with access to FM 1626, Highway 45, Slaughter, and Mopac.
Only ten miles southwest of Downtown Austin, Shady Hollow offers its residents the best of both worlds, a quiet neighborhood in which to live, and easy access to Austin entertainment including museums, shopping, historic buildings, and of course, Austin’s live music events.
Amenities in Shady Hollow include four parks, a community center with a pool, basketball courts, and tennis courts. Within its park system, residents can enjoy playscapes and two nature trails. The area boasts an active neighborhood association which sponsors many events for residents including a children’s swim team, a moms’ club, and a summer tennis tournament.
