River Place

River Place is a naturally landscaped area featuring Lake Austin and hill country views. This country club community, which offers waterfront property and gorgeous views, boasts plenty of green space for outdoor activities. Though not many restaurants and shopping venues are located nearby, River Place is located just 30 minutes from downtown Austin where you’ll find plenty of excitement!

History

Development of River Place began in the late 1990s offering a wide variety of colonial style homes and lake front properties. Homes generally range from 2,300 square feet to 7,000 square feet. River Place amenities include two parks with fields, playscapes, and barbecue grills. A marina at Lake Austin provides private access for swimming and boating.

Additionally, residents enjoy a country club, and miles of hike and bike trails. The River Place Country Club is centrally located in the neighborhood where residents can golf access a driving range, utilize the fitness and massage facilities, swim, and enjoy a meal.

Leander ISD serves the children in River Place. River Place Elementary, Four Points Middle School, and Vandegrift High School are the public schools most often attended by students in River Place.
