Offering a diverse community with several quality neighborhoods is Circle C Ranch in southwest Austin. The area is a master planned community that originated in 1982 and has continued to grow as land developed.

Home Styles
Many home styles are available in Circle C Ranch. With its inception, the area was built with mostly ranch style homes and traditional red brick homes. As the area grew, a new look was created with more homes constructed in limestone.
Vintage Place is a unique neighborhood in Circle C Ranch which offers homes that are designed to resemble older, traditional, Craftsman style homes. The neighborhood property values in Circle C Ranch have steadily increased over time.
School Districts
Schools have been built to accommodate the growth of the area. Four public elementary schools, two middle schools, and one high school serve the various neighborhoods throughout the development.

With an active HOA, amenities in Circle C Ranch abound including Grey Rock Golf Club, a tennis club, four swim centers, and over 500 acres of dedicated park land. The original swim center boasts a year-round, Olympic-sized, heated pool as well as Circle C Café which offers a full menu and free delivery to residents in the area.
Local attractions include the Circle C Metro Park featuring basketball, soccer fields, playscapes and a walking trail. For longer trails, some visitors choose to bike or ride horses at Slaughter Creek Trail. In addition, the Veloway is an area park that provides 3.17-miles of paved trail designed specifically for cyclists and roller blade enthusiasts. With plenty of restaurants including Satellite Café, Waterloo Ice House, and Mangieri’s, and local shopping spots and boutiques, Circle C Ranch has grown to meet the needs of all its residents.
Welcome to the Neighborhood
A Central Austin gem and historic district just west of downtown is the neighborhood of Clarksville. Rich in legacy, residents have worked to preserve the character of the area.
Clarksville is named for Charles Clark, a former slave who bought land and sold portions to other freed slaves in 1871. When expansion in Austin threatened the area, the Clarksville Community Development Corporation was formed to protect the community’s history.

Located near Lady Bird Lake and extending from MoPac to North Lamar Boulevard between West 6th Street and West 15th Street, the Clarksville is a part of the Old West Austin Historic District which features historic homes and structures.
Now considered one of the most expensive neighborhoods in Austin, the quaint neighborhood is made up of Late Victorian homes, American Craftsman homes, and Bungalows interspersed with condos, and apartments on land that has steadily increased in value. It is situated just minutes from popular hot spots in Downtown Austin.
Activities
For outdoor enthusiasts, there are two neighborhood parks within walking distance as well as close proximity to Zilker Park just a few blocks south where visitors enjoy hiking and biking, volleyball, playgrounds, and acres of green space.
For residents looking for trendy venues, Clarksville offers many cafes, restaurants, and coffee shops, particularly on West Lynn where folks enjoy dining at Jeffrey’s or Cipollina.
School Districts
Students in the Clarksville area are served by Casis, Barton Hills, Zilker, and Mathews Elementary Schools, O Henry Middle School, and Austin High School.
Bar Peached offers cocktails and Asian fusion dishes at its historic, remodeled bungalow restaurant. Clarksville is equal parts quiet, quaint, and quirky.
