In Northwest Austin, lies a popular neighborhood called Avery Ranch. Rich in history, Avery Ranch is a master-planned community that began development in 2000. It is one of the larger Austin communities with over 4,000 homes situated on 1800 acres of hill country land.

Stiles Middle School and Pearson Ranch Middle School serve grades 6-8, and McNeil High School and Vista Ridge High School serve students in grades 9-12.
