Berklee Global Partners students who have completed the first year of their undergraduate studies in their home institution, meet the Berklee academic and language requirements, and are seeking an enriching musical and cultural experience only possible at the Berklee Valencia campus.
Academic Requirements
Enrollment
Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate program.
Academic Standing
Maintain a minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
Interest
Demonstrated passion for music or related performing arts fields.
Language Requirement
As English is the medium of instruction, applicants must attain one of the following test scores: TOEFL iBT: 7 IELTS: 6.0 (Academic preferred; General Training accepted; IELTS Indicator not accepted Duolingo English Test: 11 PTE Academic: 48
Program Description
The Berklee Study Abroad program offers a semester or year-long immersive experience at our Valencia campus, where we offer the world-renowned Berklee College of Music curriculum. The curriculum spans core music (arranging, ear training, harmony), music technology, music business, liberal arts and sciences, and performance, accommodating students from various majors to fulfill academic requirements. Participants can engage in private lessons with Berklee Valencia faculty, join ensembles, and pursue unique minors, such as Music Technology, Spanish Arts and Culture, and Mediterranean Music.
