WELCOME TO BERKLEE VALENCIA SUMMER PERFORMANCE PROGRAM 2024 ARRIVAL INFORMATION

Please, refer to the orientation email for your group assignment

Check-in takes places in the Palau de les Arts, Aula Magistral lobby. There will be Berklee staff and signs outside the campus entrance to guide you.

If you are planning on joining the campus tour, please arrive for your scheduled tour time. Due to capacity we cannot guarantee to take the tour at a later time.

If family members are planning to attend Orientation day sessions, please complete the following: REGISTRATION FORM

SESSIONS INFORMATION

Student and Family Check-in: check-in with Academic Affairs and Student Affairs to confirm program and emergency contact information and receive final course schedule for the program and IDs to enter campus

Orientation Nuts & Bolts Informational Welcome Session: an opportunity to meet the Valencia program staff and have an overview of the program's scheduled activities and expectations. Open to families

Lunch on own: students and families can enjoy time for lunch. We recommend picnicking at the Turia garden, or going to restaurants near campus: Avenida de Francia, El Saler shopping Center and Avenida Profesor Lopez Piñero.

Campus Tour: brief tour of the campus emphasising the rooms and resources available during the program*(families must register)

Student Meet & Greet and Jamming with your Ensemble: jam with the assigned ensemble and faculty. *See note below about instruments

Meet the Valencia Team Student and Family Social: meet additional students and members of the Valencia team for a final closing event.

INSTRUMENTS & STORAGE

Students who play these instruments should bring their own for the afternoon: Guitar Bass String instruments All woodwind and brass Rest of the instruments will be provided

There will be instrument storage available for the day on campus. Student may sign up for longer term locker storage in the following link: LOCKER AGREEMENT FORM

Review the Register Student Page with reminders about: emergency contact information, gmail account, and other important to do´s prior to arrival.

FERPA form: Berklee is prohibited from providing certain information from your education records to a third party, including your parents or financial sponsor. You may, at your discretion, grant Berklee permission to release education record information by signing a FERPA release form. There will be a link to the form during your check-in time.
