Student Leadership & Activities A well-rounded education includes a wide variety of OPPORTUNITIES.
Nearly 200 thespians from North High School, Eastlake Middle School, Willowick Middle School and South High School produced four plays throughout the course of the year: A Christmas Chaos, Alice @ Wonderland, The Crucible and Guys and Dolls. The Dazzle Awards, modeled after the Tony Awards®, recognize outstanding musical theater productions and students. School performers from South High were nominated for seven of the eleven categories and won the Best Costume Design Award.
Beyond the Curriculum In order to ensure that students have workplace skills upon high school graduation, students are engaged in more than learning just curriculum content. While in classes, students work on projects in small groups and larger teams, learn how to effectively make presentations in front of their peers and adult audiences, and learn how to be respectful and responsible toward others. Willoughby-Eastlake students graduate with effective communication skills, solid decision-making skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with others.
Educational Alternatives for At-Risk Students through the Bridge to Success Program. � 57 students earned their high school diplomas through Without this program, these students may not have graduated. � Success Academy students had markedly improved academic success.
