My family have been farming at Denstone Hall Farm since 1845 and I am the 10th generation to do so. We initially started as tenant farmers, however, when the opportunity arose, I was able to purchase the farm in the 1960’s. At that time, the farm only had around 65 acres of land, but during my farming life we have managed to build the farm up to a large dairy farm. In the early 2000’s we decided that we needed to diversify somewhat. This led to us converting the business to an arable and beef enterprise, as well as opening our very own shop and cafe called Denstone Hall Farm Shop & Café.

What are your thoughts on the Massey Ferguson Brand? We’ve been farming with the Massey Ferguson brand for the last 60 years. My father brought the first hydraulic tractor, the T20, back in the mid-1950s, which is one of the reasons we have stayed loyal to the brand for so long. One thing that is very important to me is how my operators handle the machinery. The Massey brand is very good at giving the operators the right information and assistance when needed.
