FENDT IDEAL 9T

MORE POWER, MORE OUTPUT, MORE COMFORT Fendt IDEAL. A machine that works wonders in the shortest harvest windows with uncompromising quality and unconditional reliability.

Don’t lose any time!

With the Fendt AutoDock, the attachment automatically couples up within five seconds. For easy use you don’t even have to leave the driver seat. Once the attachment is added, four hydraulic cylinders connect automatically to complete the connection. In the middle of the crop elevator frame a hydraulic cylinder mechanically locks the attachment.

While doing this, two couplings connect to the PTO drives. To make harvest a little simpler an RFID code, the ‘Ag tag’ detects which attachment has been coupled up and selects the data and settings last used with that attachment.

FENDT IDEAL 9T Grain tank and discharge With the range of Fendt ideal combines you get a choice of 2 different grain tanks. The Streamer 210 with a 17,100 l capacity and a 210 l/s unload rate, or the Streamer 140 with 12,500 l and 140 l/s. To keep up with the enormous output of the ideal combine, the unloading rate has to accommodate the increasing volume. The key to the unbeatable speed is the unloading auger, with an impressive diameter of 480mm the grain tank is fully unloaded within 81 seconds.

The IDEAL Workspace The Fendt Ideal 9T VisionCab provides the perfect workplace, with the best view over the attachment and for optimum use and productivity.

With a 180-degree view and low noise level of 73db it creates the perfect working atmosphere. The VisionCab provides comfort for all drivers with its spacious design.

At the heart of the Fendt IDEAL’s simple and intuitive operation is the armrest. With a handy joystick and membrane/ toggle you can control the machines functions with ease. The small digital screen can display key information about the machines settings and can be linked to your iPad for advanced machine functions by attaching the iPad to the stable and practical holder.

Tell me a bit about yourself?

What machinery do you use?

I’m Keith from Belvoir Farming, I’ve been farming at Belvoir for nearly 12 years, however, I’m not originally from a farming background.

We have had Fendt tractors since 1994 and have probably had 9 or 10 in that time. Currently we are running three Fendt general purpose tractors, two 828’s and a 516.

Tell me more about Belvoir Farming?

We farm roughly 2600 to 2800 acres of combinable crops, as the ground is too heavy to grow anything else. There are a couple of hundred acres of stewardship, so non crops if you like. Then we also have about 60 acres of elder flowers for the drinks business. Belvoir drinks now produce between 40 and 50 million bottles of about 25 different flavoured drinks and presse’s and we ship them all over the world.

BELVOIR FARMING What are your thoughts on the Fendt IDEAL? This year we changed to Fendt Ideal 10T combine with the Geringhoff header and it’s been brilliant! The steering wheel has been replaced by a joystick which is brilliant for in the field because it feels so much more natural and lighter. The reason we chose a combine with a joystick instead of a steering wheel was mainly for the better visibility, you’ve got this uninterrupted view of the whole header and the curved cab window allows you to see everything. Plus, the manoeuvrability with the joystick is effortless when turning at the end of the field. No doubt about it, the Joysick is better.

What’s it like working with B&B Tractors?

We are actually closer to another AGCO dealer, but because the backup from B&B is so good, we prefer to work with them. They understand my business and understand what we want, particularly when it comes to funding equipment. When investing in new equipment we weigh up whether to purchase things outright, or to finance the item. On occassion, we may also short term hire the equipment. Whatever our requirements, B&B Tractors are able to provide a full package.

B&B TRACTORS TECHNICIAN OF THE YEAR LE-TEC Technicians of the year 2022 Here at B&B Tractors, we would like to congraulte Brad Smith on winning second place in the LE-TEC Technician of the year award for 2022!

“It feels great to win this award because it shows that hard work and good work ethic can really get you places in the agricultural industry” commented Brad after recieving 2nd place in this years LE-TEC Technicians of the year 2022.

This award showcases applicants skills and passion for the sector they work in and recognises the time and effort technicians put in throughout the year.

After completing an apprentiship at B&B Tractors through AGCO, Brad then continued work as a technician here at B&B before jetting off to New Zeland for a harvest season. This was then cut short due to the pandemic, however, shortly after returning home, Brad was offered the role of our main Harvest Technician as well as continuing to provide service support for tractors during the winter months.

Keeping it simple!

The Deltis 2 range offers a mid range selection of mounted sprayers, availible with 5 different boom lengths from 15-24 metres. Adapted to your needs, the simple yet efficient design offers exceptional ergonomics in use.

With a 1000-1500 litre tank capacity, its perfetly adapted to mixed farms.

DPAE ISOBUS The ISOBUS spraying application allows the sprayer to be controlled from the tractors ISOBUS terminal in the cab. All relevant spraying related information is shown on the screens and can be adjusted accordingly to your preferences.

A simple circuit Spayer setup is a key step in the spraying operation. The Kuhn Deltis 2 has three main valves, reducing the number of actions required before spraying. The shorter circuit allows for reduced dead volumes, so when your finished spraying you can be sure the sprayer is entirely rinsed.

KUHN DELTIS 2 EASY-HITCH With automatic hitching a standard on the Deltis 2, sprayer hitching is safe, quick and comfortable.

Well balanced tanks The main tank is a special shape to allow for easy emptying. The position of the rinsing tank opposite the sump maintains the balance of the machine throughout spraying operations.

Good boom stability The Deltis 2 offers boom stability equivalent to that of a trailed sprayer, with the OPTILIFT parallelogram lifting system, the boom supports and the nitrogen accumulators providing complete boom protection during both transport and field work with excellent flexabiliy.

The OPTILIFT parallelogram features a 2.5m working height, allowing the boom to be lifted high when working in tall crops.

MEET KARL BAK In this issue of the Windmill, we sit down with B&B Tractors Sany Sales specialist Karl Bak and talk about his thoughts on the company and the brand.

Tell me a bit about yourself?

I’ve been in commercial equipment sales for a number of years now, starting off in the automotive industry working for Audi and BMW. I moved into industrial/ construction equiptment about four years ago, where I was quoting against Sany when pricing for other construction brands.

Having previous experience with the brand gave me full confidence to specialise in the Sany brand.

How long have you been working for B&B Tractors ?

I started working for B&B Tractors as a Sany Sales Representative just over a year ago now.

What’s it like working for B&B Tractors?

I’m loving the job here at B&B Tractors as there’s such a wide variety of equipment. No two days are the same and there’s always new customers eager to purchase one of our fantasic Sany excavators. With a yard full of new and used stock, we never have any issues providing what the customers require.

KARL BAK What are your thoughts on the Sany Brand?

Having had previous experience working alongside the Sany brand I couldn’t pick fault with the machinery. I had already noticed the quality and potential the brand, hence why i decided to pursue a more specific role representing the brand with B&B Tractors.

The warranty and pricing of the machinery make it such an attractive proposition to the customers. There are many positive things to talk about when selling the products ranging from the quality to components.

What do you think is the biggest selling point for the Sany brand?

The five year warranty that comes as standard with all the machinery is definitely the best selling point. For a brand to be able to offer such promises for such a long period of time really proves that they are confident in their machinery’s ability to perform during every aspect of it’s working life.

What is your favorite SANY machine and why?

My favorite Sany excavator has to be the SY155U. The design of the machine is perfect for a number of jobs and i cannot pick fault with it.
