‘23 Jun Cultura, Partilha, Liberdade e Inclusão

Em 2023 o festival BAIRRO EM FESTA traz ao eixo Almirante Reis arte , cultura , diversidade , partilha , liberdade , inclusão e união à comunidade. Foram estas as palavras mais referidas quando perguntamos ao público, trabalhadores da cultura, parceiros e pessoas da comunidade envolvidas na última edição. Entre 22 e 25 de Junho, o Largo do Intendente, o Campo dos Mártires da Pátria, o Quartel do Largo do Cabeço de Bola e o Goethe-Institut são o palco e a tela para um conjunto de eventos. São actividades de várias áreas artísticas programadas por uma rede de entidade culturais, da freguesia de Arroios, que, nesta edição, para acentuar ainda o lado bairrista e participativo ao festival, agrega propostas de um open call para artistas e criativos residentes neste bairro do eixo Almirante Reis. Um projecto local que convida o global e que continua a ter como linhas de programação a interculturalidade, a criação contemporânea, a inclusão social, a memória e a tradição, a cidadania e a participação, e a saúde mental. Continuamos juntos a cuidar da cidade e, em particular, deste bairro-coração que tanto desenvolveu ao longo dos últimos anos graças à acção cultural e social que aqui habita.

Culture, Sharing, Freedom, and Inclusion

In 2023, the BAIRRO EM FESTA festival brings art , culture , diversity , sharing , freedom , inclusion , and unity to the Almirante Reis axis community. These were the most mentioned words when we asked the audience, cultural workers, partners, and people from the community involved in the last edition.

From June 22 nd to 25 th, Largo do Intendente, Campo dos Mártires da Pátria Garden, Quartel do Largo do Cabeço de Bola, and the Goethe-Institut serve as the stage and canvas for a series of events. Various artistic activities are programmed by a network of cultural entities from the Arroios parish, which, in this edition, to emphasize the local and participatory aspects of the festival, incorporates proposals from an open call for artists and creatives residing in this neighborhood of the Almirante Reis axis. It is a local project that invites the global and continues to focus on interculturality, contemporary creation, social inclusion, memory and tradition, citizenship and participation, and mental health as its programming themes. We continue to care for the city and, in particular, this heart-shaped neighborhood that has flourished over the years thanks to the cultural and social action that resides here.

al como habitual, partilhamos projectos que são criados para este festival e para os lugares que ocupamos. E assim nasce a exposição do colectivo de narrativas do Quartel com a obra “O que cá entrou não pode cá estar”, que apresenta uma ponte entre a narrativa e a ficção do Quartel do Largo do Cabeço de Bola, onde uma vida ligada à GNR deu lugar a uma curta mas intensa vida cultural de mais de uma centena de trabalhadores da cultura. “Muy Frágil III” de Patricia Campo, fala-nos dos lugares em extinção, assim como a exposição-debate “10 anos 10 Lugares” pelo Largo Residências que relembra a transformação de 10 edifícios emblemáticos do Largo do Intendente na última década. Entre o Intendente e o Quartel teremos mais uma dezena de exposições de vários criadores para visitar.

Do projecto Residências Refúgio, as várias práticas artísticas de inclusão social de pessoas em situação de refúgio trazem a cena várias criações participativas e comunitárias, como a gigante instalação “Casulos são Código” dirigida por R.T. Snott, entre o Quartel e o Campo dos Mártires da Pátria, a instalação “”Espaço de Permanência” coordenada por Daniela Chinchilla, e a performance musical das várias “Vozes Femininas do Mediterâneo” dirigidas pela artista Susana Travassos.

Na área do cinema, às habituais sessões do Doclisboa no Bairro, juntam-se o Cineclube Mutim e Cinema Negra Queer com filmes de David J. Amado.

Os espectáculos de música são sempre viagens inevitáveis a vários cantos do mundo para residentes em Arroios. E por isso saltamos, num mesmo dia e palco, do Baile e Músicas Ucranianas do Litá Band, ao Set de Músicas Latinas, e aterrando no tradicional Fado com a personalidade que Jonas Lopes traz ao grande concerto S. Jorge Batido com música e dança no grande palco que, este ano, regressa ao Largo do Intendente. Neste palco sobem também os Poetry Ensemble que convidam o grupo de músicos do Afeganistão “Not Forbidden”. O Intendente volta a receber o Jazz desta vez com o trio de Carlos Barretto, Pedro Branco e João Sousa que com a sua música improvisada visita temas conhecidos (e outros menos conhecidos) do reportório habitual de Marco Paulo. Por outros locais passam ainda os Guarda-Rios ( João Neves, Susana Nunes, Mariana Camacho), o grupo local Circular Vozes, o colectivo de música e poesia Sarau Delas, o Duo de

And so, the exhibition of the storytelling collective of the Quartel is born, with the work “ O que cá entrou não pode cá estar,” which presents a bridge between the narrative and fiction of the Quartel do Largo do Cabeço de Bola, where a life connected to the GNR has given way to a short but intense cultural life of over a hundred cultural workers. “Muy Frágil III” by Patricia Campo speaks to us about endangered places, as well as the exhibition-debate “10 anos 10 lugares” by Largo Residências, which recalls the transformation of 10 iconic buildings in Largo do Intendente over the last decade. Between Intendente and Quartel, there will be a dozen more exhibitions by various creators to visit.

From the Residências Refúgio project, various artistic practices of social inclusion for people in refugee situations bring several participatory and community creations to the scene, such as the giant installation “Casulos são Código” directed by R.T. Snott, between Quartel and Campo dos Mártires da Pátria, the installation “Espaço de Permanência” coordinated by Daniela Chinchilla, and the musical performance of the various “ Vozes Femininas do Mediterrâneo” directed by artist Susana Travassos.

In the cinema area, in addition to the usual Doc Lisboa sessions in the neighborhood, Cineclube Mutim and Cinema Negra Queer join with films by David J. Amado.

Music performances are always inevitable journeys to various corners of the world for residents in Arroios. And so, in the same day and stage, we jump from the Ukrainian Dance and Music of Litá Band to a Latin Music Set, and land in the traditional Fado with the personality that Jonas Lopes brings to the grand concert “S. Jorge Batido” with music and dance on the big stage, which returns this year to Largo do Intendente. On this stage, Poetry Ensemble also performs and invites the group of musicians from Afghanistan “Not Forbidden.” Intendente once again hosts Jazz, this time with the trio of Carlos Barretto, Pedro Branco, and João Sousa, who, with their improvised music, visit well-known (and lesser-known) themes from Marco Paulo’s usual repertoire. Other locations will also feature performances by Guarda-Rios (João Neves, Susana Nunes, Mariana Camacho), the local group Circular Vozes, the collective of music and poetry Sarau Delas, the Duo of Maia Balduz with Simão Bárcia, the hot rhythms of San La Muerte Cumbia, and many others to discover.

And since the festival is not just about music, theater is also present with the show “Simão Sólis” by Pedro Saavedra/O Fim do

Maia Balduz com Simão Bárcia, os ritmos quentes dos San La Muerte Cumbia e muitos outros a descobrir.

E como não só de música se faz o festival, o teatro está presente com o espectáculo “Simão Sólis” de Pedro Saavedra/ O Fim do Teatro, “Morada” de Catarina Aidos” e a performance das Manas “Ela amou para o Caralho”.

Os/as mais novos(as) têm um infindável número de ateliers pelos recintos do festival, bem como espectáculos pelos Takatum, Teatro Lupa, e Teatro Alternativo, festas e bailes multimédia com a Oficina Fritta, os Sons da Metamorfose, e contos com Elsa Serra, Sofia Freire d’Andrade entre outros(as).

São várias as técnicas que adultos podem explorar com os workshops criativos e sustentáveis BioLab Lisboa, Repair Café Lisboa, BLAB, mas também com as várias técnicas do projecto de mulheres migrantes do projecto local e multicultural Bandim.

O pensamento e questionamento é sempre uma marca do Bairro em Festa e por isso continuamos a debater o território pelos olhos de quem o vive, dos(as) mais velhos(as) ou mais novos(as), quer em formatos de debate, quer em lançamentos de publicações como é o caso do livro “10 anos 10 lugares”, ou do “Divertir A Mente”, criado pelos utentes do Centro de Dia N. Senhora dos Anjos, que criam o desafio aos mais jovens a reviver as brincadeiras da sua infância, mas também a conversa entre adultos a partir da visão das crianças no atelier “Janela para a Cidade”.

Há visitas pelo bairro, quer performativas pela mão da artista Francesca Bertozzi, quer percursos à Arte Urbana de Arroios com Hugo Cardoso pela Freguesia de Arroios, terminando com a visita guiada ao Quartel mais lindo da cidade com antigos GNR deste Quartel acompanhados por actuais artistas residentes. Uma visita inédita e única a esta ocupação-sonho que vai desaparecer este ano.

O festival continua a sua missão de com festa continuar a mostrar os múltiplos inícios e fins das zona da cidade onde a transformação urbana mais se fez sentir, mas onde também a riqueza humana supera e cura todas as feridas dessa mudança…dança…dança, em mais de 70 actividades por três recintos, com mais de 200 trabalhadores da cultura.

Este festival é uma iniciativa promovida pelo LARGO Residências, com o apoio institucional da Câmara Municipal de Lisboa, da EGEAC e da Junta de Freguesia de Arroios, em parceria com uma rede de entidades culturais locais.

The younger ones have an endless number of workshops throughout the festival venues, as well as shows by Takatum, Teatro Lupa, and Teatro Alternativo, multimedia parties and dances with Oficina Fritta, Sons da Metamorfose, and storytelling with Elsa Serra, Sofia Freire d’Andrade, among others.

There are various techniques that adults can explore through the creative and sustainable workshops of BioLab Lisboa, Repair Café Lisboa, BLAB, as well as the various techniques of the project for migrant women from the local and multicultural Bandim project.

Thought and questioning are always a hallmark of Bairro em Festa, and that’s why we continue to debate the territory through the eyes of those who live in it, both the older and the younger generation, in the form of debates and the release of publications. This includes the book “10 anos 10 lugares” and “Divertir A Mente,” created by the users of N. Senhora dos Anjos Day Center, which challenges the younger generation to relive the games of their childhood, as well as facilitating conversations among adults based on the perspective of children in the workshop “Janela para a Cidade.”

There are visits throughout the neighborhood, both performative ones led by artist Francesca Bertozzi and tours of the Urban Art of Arroios with Hugo Cardoso in the Arroios Parish, culminating in a guided tour of the most beautiful Quartel in the city, accompanied by former GNR members from this Quartel and current resident artists. It’s an unprecedented and unique visit to this dream-like occupation that will disappear this year.

The festival continues its mission of showcasing the multiple beginnings and endings of the city’s areas where urban transformation has been most strongly felt. However, it also highlights how human richness surpasses and heals all the wounds of this change... dance... dance, through over 70 activities across three venues, involving more than 200 cultural workers.

This festival is an initiative promoted by LARGO Residências, with the institutional support of Câmara Municipal de Lisboa, EGEAC / Lisbon Fest, and Junta Freguesia de Arroios, in partnership with a network of local cultural entities.

“Espaço de permanência” é uma instalação colectiva na qual se trabalhou sobre o conceito de casa para construir uma casa onde tudo é possível e que se adapta simbolicamente às necessidades perceptivas das pessoas que a criaram. Não é um espaço doméstico comum. Esta instalação é criada a partir de projecções de vídeo, objectos e peças criadas a partir de uma série de workshops em que se trabalhou a percepção dos lugares que habitamos e a forma de representar a casa. A instalação está a ser construída a partir de pequenas intervenções em diferentes espaços do Quartel do Largo do Cabeço de Bola. Nestas intervenções reproduzimos diferentes elementos que compõem as texturas, parte da arquitectura e mobiliário do Quartel. A ênfase está em estimular os sentidos para captar coisas que muitas vezes passam despercebidas no quotidiano.

“Espacio de permanencia” is a collective installation in which we worked on the concept of home in order to build a house where everything is possible and which is symbolically adapted to the perceptive needs of the people who created it.

It is not an ordinary domestic space. This installation is created from video projections, objects and pieces created from a series of workshops in which work has been done on the perception of the places we inhabit and how to represent the house.

The installation is being constructed from small interventions in different spaces in Quartel do Largo do Cabeço de Bola. In these interventions we reproduce different elements that make up the textures, part of the architecture and furniture of the Quartel. The emphasis is on stimulating the senses to capture things that often go unnoticed in everyday life.

Esta exposição/instalação é um manifesto entre o precipício do passado e o abismo no futuro. Uma ideia antagonista entre a vida e a morte, entre o documental e o ficcional, entre a luz e a sombra.

Com recurso a texto, som, fotografia e vídeo faz-se a ponte entre a realidade e a ficção de um espaço no qual uma vida ligada à GNRGuarda Nacional Republicana deu lugar a uma curta, mas intensa, vida cultural de mais de uma centena de trabalhadores da Cultura. Uma oportunidade única e irrepetível para conhecer um espaço prestes a desaparecer da vida de Lisboa como existe actualmente.

“Não vos posso contar o que se passa dentro de mim, mas que lá se passa dentro e que muitos sorrisos trouxeram de volta a este mundo, trouxeram. “

This exhibition/installation is a manifesto between the precipice of the past and the abyss in the future. An antagonistic idea between life and death, between the documental and the fictional, between light and shadow. Using text, sound, photography and video, a bridge is built between reality and fiction of a space where a life linked to the GNR - National Republican Guard gave way to a short but intense cultural life of over a hundred cultural workers. A unique and unrepeatable opportunity to get to know a space about to disappear from the life of Lisbon as it currently exists.

“Retrato do Bairro” procura, através da fotografia, levar as crianças a olhar uns para os outros com olhos de ver, olhar para os olhos, o nariz, a boca, as sobrancelhas, a cor e formas. A ideia é que

consigam ver o quanto iguais e diferentes somos uns/umas dos/as outros(as), e refletir sobre a grande diversidade que é o nosso grande bairro e o nosso mundo.

O “Retrato do Bairro” termina com uma exposição.

The aim of this photographic project “Retrato do Bairro” [“the neighbourhood´s portrait”] is to make children look at each other with their eyes open through photography. looking at the other person’s eyes, nose, mouth, eyebrows, colors and shapes. The idea is that children can see how similar and different we are from each other, and reflect on thereat diversity that we have in our great neighborhood and our world.

The “Retrato do Bairro” ends with an exhibition.

É um processo de mitologização do tempo em que habito, tempo rizomático de mutações profundas, no qual homo sapiens emerge como outra espécie, nomeadamente, “Eletropolvo”.

Electroctopus is an imagery that illustrates the deep transformations that have been taking place in the way of human existence due to the new dynamics that recent technologies have been bringing. It is a process of mythologizing the time I inhabit, a rhizomatic

time of profound mutations, in which homo sapiens emerges another species, namely the Electroctopus.

The project support Afghan refugee women through skills development and confidence building through sewing and tailoring course to prepare Afghan traditional women cloths that also meet the market here in Portugal, to introduce the Afghan culture in Portugal and perhaps make a mixture of Afghan and Portuguese culture and present as a new initiative. The project in support of design companies and fabrics will built Afghan refugee women skills for entrepreneurship and future businesses.

Esta exposição realiza-se no âmbito do lançamento do primeiro fascículo da colecção Largo Residências 1.0: 10 anos x 10 lugares, que é uma espécie de cronologia da transformação urbanística do intendente entre 2011 e 2021. Contém excertos das 10 crónicas, enquanto reflexão e narração a partir de uma fotografia dos vários lugares e edifícios que nestes dez anos foram mudando o seu uso, esvaziando e enchendo, reconstruídos ou mesmo destruídos.

This exhibition is held in the context of the launch of the first issue of the collection Largo Residências 1.0: 10 years x 10 Places, which is a kind of chronology of the urban transformation of intendente between 2011 and 2021.

It contains excerpts from the 10 chronicles, as a reflection and narration based on a photograph of the various places and buildings that in these ten years have been changing their use, emptying and filling, rebuilt or even destroyed.

Nota: O percurso tem locais com escada, sem elevador, o que condiciona a participação de pessoas com mobilidade reduzida.

Guided visit to the Quartel do Largo do Cabeço de Bola with former GNR officers from this area accompanied by the artist Andreia Salavessa. The existing urban structures and buildings are part of a heritage that is not only architectural and urban but, above all, a memory of the places themselves, involving people who also build themselves in their relationship with the places and the landscape. Know the History through Architecture and the testimony of those who worked, lived and dreamed there.

Remarks: The route has places with stairs, no lift, which conditions the participation of people with reduced mobility.

A partir das preocupações dos alunos da turma dos 7 aos 13 anos usamos o universo da magia e dos feitiços para dar corpo a situações a elas relacionadas.

A walk by the forest might reveal an unusual dangerous being. Dramatization of the Chris Wormell’s story “Ferocious wild beasts” with the 4 to 6 years old drama class.

Based on the concerns of students in the 7 to 13 year old class, we use the magic and spells to embody situations related to them.

Bush”, um drama tão emocionante quanto humorístico do realizador Andreas Dresen e da argumentista Laila Stieler, no dia 22 de Junho às 19h00 no auditório do GoetheInstitut. Bush”, a moving and humorous drama by director Andreas Dresen and screenwriter Laila Stieler, on 22 June at 7pm in the auditorium of the Goethe-Institut. História criada pelos(as) utentes do Centro de Dia de Nossa Senhora dos Anjos com base nas suas memórias de infância, que através da escrita de Elsa Serra e dos desenhos de Andreia Salavessa tomam forma.

How did you play in the old days? Do you remember playing spinning tops, hopscotch and blind man’s buff? Many of these games live on through time and across generations. We want to record these and other games in time, through an object with a story and drawings.

Jardim do Campo dos Mártires da Pátria “Ineunte” é um solo criado em sintonia com a música do mesmo nome do músico Mario Batkovic. É sobre uma auto-análise, questionando o lugar das emoções, da irracionalidade e da paixão na sociedade. É uma viagem através de contrastes musicais em conjunto com estados emocionais contraditórios, pois um cardiograma nunca é linear quando o coração está vivo.

Trata-se de criação e destruição enquanto um macrocosmo de gestos, sons e cenas que emerge e desaparece.

A Ineunte convida-nos numa viagem ritmicamente pulsante algures entre a dissolução e novos começos.

Ineunte is a solo created in tune with the song of the same name by the musician Mario Batkovic. It is about selfanalysis, questioning the place of emotions, irrationality and passion in society. It is a journey through musical contrasts in conjunction with contradictory emotional states, for a cardiogram is never linear when the heart is alive.

It is about creation and destruction as a macrocosm of gestures, sounds and scenes emerges and disappears.

Ineunte invites us on a rhythmically pulsating journey somewhere between dissolution and new beginnings.

Quartel (Palco Norte) Sempre com uma vertente activista e com temáticas e elementos de animação diferentes, as MANAS prometem festa por todos os lugares onde passam dando lugar a artistas emergentes e equilibrando a representatividade das mulheres e pessoas LGBTQIA+ na indústria musical.

O trio pisou palco pela primeira vez em Junho de 2022, na discoteca Titanic Sur Mer, iniciando, assim, o seu percurso musical ao ritmo de géneros como o kuduro, MPB, funk, pop, latino, afrobeats, entre outros, envolvendo sempre o público nas dinâmicas do set.

Activism is always present in Inês Rebeca, Maria Luz e Maria do Mar’s (a.k.a., MANAS) parties. They aim to give a platform to emerging artists and balance the representation of women and LGBTQIA+ individuals in the Portuguese cultural scene. MANAS went on stage for the first time in June 2022, in Titanic Sur Mer, including genres such as kuduro, MPB, funk, pop, latino, afro house, amongst others, always connecting to the crowd within the set’s dynamic.

CONVERSA E LANÇAMENTO DE LIVRO

Largo do Intendente Nesta conversa vamos relembrar uma década de Intendente numa hora, a partir do lançamento do primeiro fascículo da colecção Largo Residências 1.0.

Em “10 anos x 10 lugares” apresentamos 10 Crónicas que são uma viagem no tempo e espaço à primeira casa do Largo Residências: o Intendente.

Estas crónicas apresentam imagens de lugares e edifícios que nestes dez anos foram mudando o seu uso, esvaziando e enchendo, reconstruídos ou mesmo destruídos.

Ao narrar o que foi acontecendo a estes edifícios conseguimos perceber a importância fundamental que o binómio espaço público versus espaço privado tem nos pro cessos de requalificação urbanística.

São histórias que podem ser lidas isoladamente, mas que também podem ser lidas como um todo completando, assim, a linha do que realmente aconteceu ao Intendente numa década.

In this conversation we will remember a decade of Intendente in one hour, based on the launch of the first issue of the collection Largo Residências 1.0.

In “10 years x 10 places” we present 10 Chronicles that are a journey through time and space to the first home of Largo Residências: Intendente.

These chronicles present images of places and buildings that in these ten years have been changing their use, emptying and filling, rebuilt or even destroyed.

By narrating what happened to these buildings we can

understand the fundamental importance that the binomial public space versus private space has in the processes of urban requalification.

These are stories that can be read in isolation, but that can also be read as a whole, thus completing the line of what really happened to Intendente in a decade.

Dentro de alguns dias, João dançará durante sete horas ininterruptas numa última performance antes do encerramento definitivo do Atelier RE.AL.

Portuguese choreographer João Fiadeiro is organising an archive that is over 30 years old and crosses his work in contemporary dance with the history of the Lisbon studio he is about to vacate. In a few days, João will be dancing for seven hours uninterruptedly in a last performance before the final closure of Atelier RE.AL.

Largo do Intendente Pedro Branco propõe transportar para a música improvisada temas conhecidos (e outros menos conhecidos) do reportório habitual de Marco Paulo juntando linguagens bastante distintas na sua estética: a improvisação contemporânea e os clássicos da música pop portuguesa, executados, aqui, com sentido de humor e imprevisibilidade interpretativa.

Pedro Branco intends to transport to improvised music well-known (and not so wellknown) themes from Marco Paulo’s usual repertoire, bringing together quite diverse languages in their aesthetics: contemporary improvisation and classics of Portuguese pop music, performed here with a sense of humour and interpretative unpredictability.

CineMagia – Cinema e Filosofia na Biblioteca é um programa para crianças dos 7 aos 11 anos que combina diversão e aprendizagem. No dia 24 de Junho, CineMagia propõe um workshop de cartazes, através dos quais as crianças poderão colocar a sua criatividade em prática e aprender a desenvolver conceitos visuais, imaginar e (re)criar cartazes de filmes. Eles têm a oportunidade de conhecer o mundo do cinema de uma forma divertida e educativa, enquanto exploram a sua criatividade para refletirem sobre valores importantes e desenvolverem pensamento crítico.

CineMagia – Cinema e Filosofia na Biblioteca is a programme for children of ages between 7 and 11 that combines fun and learning.

On June 24, CineMagia proposes a poster workshop through which children can put their creativity into practice and learn to develop visual concepts, imagine and (re) create film posters. They will have the opportunity to get to know the world of cinema in a fun and educational way, while exploring their creativity to reflect on important values and develop critical thinking.

Guarda-Rios juntaram-se pelo interesse na música popular e exploração livre da voz. Tendo canções tradicionais como ponto de partida, aventuram-se na criação, em tempo real, de arranjos vocais a cappella. Daí, resulta um repertório vivo que se reinventa a cada performance.

Nesta edição do Bairro em Festa, o trio convida todas as pessoas a experimentar colectivamente estes aspectos, no workshop ”A cantar nos inventamos”, de 3 horas, que precede o concerto Guarda-Rios was born from the love for Portuguese folk music and free exploration of the voice. The trio proposes improvised a cappella vocal arrangements for folk songs, which results in a lively repertoire that organically changes with each performance. The trio invites everyone to collectively experiment these aspects in this 3-hour workshop” A cantar nos inventamos” that precedes the concert.

O objectivo deste workshop é desbloquear, através do movimento e da voz, restrições emocionais e tensões musculares, sedimentadas no corpo.

Todes procuramos o prazer e o alívio, dentro da opressão sistémica. No entanto, esquecemo-nos de que não existe prazer real, quando o corpo e a mente vivem em constante repressão. O objectivo é cultivar o alívio e a esperança dentro delas e explorar o conceito de prazer de uma forma segura, consensual, não normativa e que promova a autonomia e auto-reflexão.

The aim of this workshop is to unblock, through movement and voice, emotional restrictions and muscular tensions sedimented in the body.

We all seek pleasure and relief from the systemic oppression of the mind and body. The goal is to cultivate relief and hope within them, and to explore the concept of pleasure in a safe, consensual, non normative way, that promotes autonomy and self-reflection.

Água (Water), for early childhood is a Contemporary Dance show, where it is proposed to the spectators to discover sensations and moments related to water and its movement. In this sensitive experience, space is given to contemplation allowing children to observe what they are interested in, from any perspective.

A oficina “O que faz uma festa?” é uma atividade pensada para crianças a partir dos 5 anos a acontecer no espaço do palco do teatro e que prevê a criação da ficção de uma festa (disfarce, dança,

video-projeção, desenhos com carimbos e costura de papel) e o questionamento da mesma. “Porque é que gostamos tanto dela?”

The workshop “O que faz uma festa?” [what forms a party?] is an activity for children from 5 years old that will be happening at the stage of the theatre. It aims at the creation of a fiction of a party (costumes, dancing, videoprojection, drawings with stamps and paper sewing) and its questioning. “Why do we like it so much?”

Este workshop ensina a arte da cianotipia, um dos mais antigos processos de impressão fotográfica, que cria imagens a azul e branco, utilizando a luz solar. Será feita uma introdução à origem

e química da técnica, e depois uma experimentação prática com diferentes elementos.

Este workshop é perfeito para principiantes, famílias e curiosos(as), e inclui materiais para a criação de várias impressões. Os/ As participantes sairão com novas competências e uma série de bonitas impressões de cianotipia.

This workshop teaches the art of cyanotype, one of the oldest photographic printing processes, which creates blue and white images using sunlight. There will be an introduction to the origin and chemistry of the technique, and then hands-on experimentation with different elements.

This workshop is perfect for beginners, families and the curious, and includes materials for creating various prints. Participants will leave with new skills and a number of beautiful cyanotype prints.

A research and improvisation creation about each one of us and each of the places we come from, where we work and where we feel good and bad. The theater workshop group will have an individual process going on to the group, creating scenes from their own lives and putting into play the sublimation of concerns, obsessions, phobias, desires and concerns.

Este workshop será sobre o processo, passo a passo, para imprimir numa placa de gel e fazer trabalhos personalizados usando motivos botânicos.

A placa de impressão em gel é uma superfície macia que existe em vários tamanhos, feita com glicerina e gelatina, que confere à placa uma superfície flexível e moldável para que possamos espalhar tintas, adicionar texturas e fazer muitas impressões.

This workshop will be about the step by step process to print with a gel plate and make custom made papers and botanical patterns.

Gel printing plate is a soft surface that comes in a variety of sizes that is made with a mineral based glycerin which give the plate a flexible and moldable surface so that we can spread paints, add textures, and make many prints.

Performance concert by Susana Travassos and her work with Vozes Femininas do Mediterrâneo. A group of voices that come to us from the debris of war or the hot sun of South America, from the colourful streets of India, who for some months dedicated themselves to exchange experiences and to think together about what it means to be a woman.

Despite their youth, the group Litá carry in their voices all the wisdom of their ancestors. In an incredibly powerful vibration, they have the ability to make us connect with our roots.

Polyphonic songs about love, destiny and humour. These are songs collected during ethnographic expeditions that promise to touch the soul and make the heart smile.

“São Jorge Batido” é a união dos dois mundos de Jonas: o Fado e a Dança. Em 2021, Jonas lança “São Jorge” – primeiro álbum como cantautor – e estreia “Bate Fado”, enquanto coreógrafo da dupla Jonas & Lander, um espectáculo que resgata a dança extinta do Fado.

Em “São Jorge Batido” é trazida à luz uma herança de imagens e movimentos ancestrais que se foram desvanecendo ao longo dos tempos.

São Jorge Batido is the union of Jonas’ two worlds: Fado and Dance.

In 2021 Jonas releases “São Jorge” - first album as a singerauthor - and “Bate Fado”, as choreographer of the duo Jonas & Lander, a show that rescues

the extinct dance of Fado.In “São Jorge Batido” an inheritance of ancestral images and movements that have faded over time is brought to light.
