BAGMA membership more important than ever

Dear members and industry colleagues.

I hope with the positive change in weather that you are all now busy as we are well into the summer season.

As an organisation, BAGMA have been busy visiting many of the events and shows that have already taken place this year – it has been reaffirming that at them all, we have been so well received. Most recently, we attended The Great Yorkshire Show and exhibited at The Royal Highland Show.

Peter Heming

BAGMA President

It was great to see so many BAGMA members visiting or exhibiting, including Pollock Farm Equipment. Pollock’s have been trading for over 157 years, and have been exhibitors at the show for an estimated 80 years! We also enjoyed

catching up with members at our latest Connect meeting at John Deere – a big thank you to them for hosting us so well.

The recent general election will potentially lead to uncertainty within the industry and wider economy. As political direction and topics like rural payments all come under scrutiny over the next few months and years, we all need to be vigilant and mindful of how potential changes will affect our businesses.

The reports on reduced tractor registration is definitely an indicator of the brakes being applied with respect to spending in agriculture. That being said, the 50hp and below tractor sales remain reasonable which is hopefully an indicator that some aren’t relying on farm payments and are confident in investing in the future.

It’s in times like these that being a BAGMA member is more important than ever. Not only will we be keeping members informed of any and all potential changes the new Labour government may impose, we will be continuing our work behind the scenes – in conjunction with the AEA – to steer them into viewing our industry favourably.

Wishing you all the best in these interesting times.

Tribute to Jonathan Swift

BAGMA were saddened to learn of the passing of Jonathan Swift, former Director General of the British Hardware Federation and Director General of BAGMA from 1973 to 1986.

Jonathan brought BAGMA into the BHF Association in 1984 and continued in his role of Secretary General of the International Hardware Association until 2011.

He was instrumental in building the BHF into today’s Bira, representing independent hardware and agricultural businesses, lobbying Government during the difficult period in the 70s and 80s when interest rates hit over 17% and inflation rose to 24% - thus making the BHF an essential campaigner for retailers during these hard times.

Jonathan will be remembered for his powerful personality and towering

speeches. He had an ability to make everyone he worked with feel special and important and always ensured that members’ needs were at the heart of all decisions.

He will be greatly missed by all his former colleagues and everyone who knew him.

High Spirits at Highland!

We’ve talked a lot about the weather for the first half of the year, though I don’t think anyone can blame us when it’s had such a significant impact on our day-to-day business. It was therefore refreshing to enjoy a few days in the (mostly) glorious sunshine at The Royal Highland Show –which demonstrated how much a drop of the golden stuff does to lift spirits! I’m still talking about the sunshine I assure you… Organisers reported a record-breaking turnout of over 220,000 visitors across the four days and Ingliston was, once again, abuzz with the very best achievements and innovations that the agricultural sector has to offer.

It was fantastic to see lots of faces old and new. We were also lucky enough to be joined on our stand by a number of our service providers, including Ibcos Computers, Troy and Swiss Finance who helped to spread the word on BAGMA benefits and savings with everyone who stopped by.

While we were at the show, I received notification that changes are afoot with Land-based engineering apprenticeships. The LE-TEC Apprenticeship Working

Group have been engaged in the revision of both the Level 2 Land-based Service Engineer and Level 3 Land-based Service Engineering Technician apprenticeship standards – the review of which will require employers and training providers to change their approach to the recruitment and development of apprentices.

The new apprenticeship structure will follow a logical progression path where the standalone Land-based Level 2 apprenticeship will lead onto a standalone Level 3 apprenticeship for those wishing to do so. In future there will be no possibility to enrol apprentices onto the outgoing Level 3 apprenticeship.

Further details on the new apprenticeship standards, coming into force later this year, can be found on page 19 and in full on the BAGMA website.

Increasing the availability of appropriate levels of training and providing a clearer progression route to careers in the sector can only be a good thing - BAGMA look forward to seeing the principles in practice. For support on this, or anything else we can help you with in your business, please get in touch.

LE-TEC announce the winners of ‘Technicians For 2024’

The Land-based Engineering - Training and Education Committee (LE-TEC Ltd) are proud to announce the winners of their Technicians For 2024 competition. The annual competition, now in its 5th year, is designed to find and celebrate the UK’s best technicians in the Land-based Engineering sector. Two routes of entry were available – the traditional video entry method, or a new format where employers or lecturers could nominate outstanding students or employees within their network.

As an industry collaboration, the LE-TEC Ltd judging panel consisted of representatives from IAgrE, BAGMA and the AEA alongside industry independents. Aiming to highlight the skills and passion for the sector, the judges were extremely impressed by the enthusiasm shown in the entries received and after much deliberation they shortlisted their top three entrants.

The Land-based EngineeringTraining and Education Committee (LE-TEC Ltd), a Private Company Limited by Guarantee, is sponsored by three main industry bodies: The Agricultural Engineers Association (AEA), British Agriculture and Garden Machinery Association (BAGMA) and the Institution of Agricultural Engineers (IAgrE). Its aims are to promote training and education for people working with farm and horticultural machinery and associated areas.

As an industry collaboration, LE-TEC is looking to tackle one of the biggest current issues the agricultural and outdoor power equipment sectors face today: that of skills. The training and recruitment of youngsters for our industry, particularly in respect of attracting young talent into our manufacturing and retail base, is ever more critical. As an industry, we face a huge crisis in the skills gap if we do not start to look more pragmatically about enticing a new intake of recruits. We then must offer them a progressive career path which recognises skills and competence levels within the technicians’ and customer service related roles.

3rd Place – Mark Donaldson (below) from Gammies Groundcare winning a Kubota 8 Drawer Rollcab with Ball-Bearing Slides.

William was originally nominated by his lecturer at East Durham College and when asked about the win, Mike Herrington had this to say, “Will’s contribution to training and development is outstanding and he is a credit to himself and Russell’s”.

“We are thrilled that Will has been crowned the winner of Technicians

for 2024!” added John Jackson, Group Aftersales Manager at Russells. “His dedication to the Land-Based Engineering industry is truly inspiring and he’s a vital part of the Russell’s team. We couldn’t be prouder of his accomplishments.”

Lisa Carty, Service Manager at Oliver Landpower Ltd comments on Zac’s second place win - “Everyone at Oliver Landpower is so pleased with Zac’s award. Zac’s attitude to all aspects of his work is second to none, whether that is the admin side or his engineering side. It really helps keep our service department moving. He has the can-do attitude and will always go above and beyond to ensure his work is carried out to a high standard. Zac is an absolute credit to Oliver Landpower and the agricultural industry.

Mark Donaldson, Groundcare Technician at Gammies Groundcare said, “I am exceptionally honoured to be awarded third place for LE-TEC Land-based Engineering Technicians For 2024. I would like to express my gratitude to the judges for recognising my passion for this work and I hope to use this award to encourage more apprentices and future young engineers and show them just how much there is to achieve within this industry.”

Les Gammie, Branch Manager, added “We are extremely proud of Mark for achieving this award from such a prestigious judging panel within the industry. It’s great to see young engineers, as the future of our industry, being recognised for their hard work and dedication.”

The competition will return for its 6th year in 2025.

Ringing the changes

If your business uses traditional telephone services, are you prepared for the PSTN Switch Off?

The Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) has been the backbone of telecommunications for almost 150 years, enabling voice calls for residential and business users across the UK. However, with the rapid advancement of digital technologies, the time has come for the PSTN switch off. That’s why our UK Network provider, Openreach, have made the decision to switch off the old copper-based network by 31st December 2025.

The All-IP Future

The switch off of the traditional telephone network is primarily driven by the aging technology and advancements in telecommunications.

Instead of copper wires, Fibre To The Premises (FTTP) uses fibre optic cables to provide internet services, making it much more robust than the legacy network and offering speeds of up to 1Gbps. For those unable to access FTTP right now, SOGEA is the best option for future-proof connectivity. Using a combination of copper and fibre technology, SOGEA provides speeds

of up to 80Mbps with no need for a landline.

Implications for Consumers

Traditional landline phones will become obsolete and consumers still needing a fixed phone will need to ensure they have a fibre-based broadband connection with compatible handset.

Benefits

• Improved Reliability – Fibre has far less points of failure

• Higher Speed – Fibre has a great deal more bandwidth, so data transfer is much faster

• Lower Cost – New technology is cheaper to run and maintain

• Greater Flexibility – Using VoIP means that you are not tied to the office

Make the move

The PSTN switch off marks the end of an era in telecommunications, but it’s also the beginning of a new digital future. While it poses challenges for businesses and consumers, it also opens up new possibilities with advanced digital communication technologies. It’s important you jump onboard and embrace this change, to ensure no loss of service.

Is your payment provider right for your business?

Alan Irwin,

explains why selecting the correct payment provider is crucial for the success and growth of your business.

Payment providers are an essential channel which enable your business to receive customers’ payments quickly, reliably and at a minimum cost. Whilst you may already have a contract in place with an existing payment provider, now is the right time to ensure they’re fully meeting your business needs.

Perhaps you’re still using your bank for invoicing or are finding your provider isn’t offering all the payment options your customers prefer. Either way, it’s important to have a provider who can deliver on the important things that support your business growth, offer customer insights, and make your business run more smoothly.

Integration tools

The task of choosing a payment provider is often overlooked as it can be both tricky and time-consuming to know who to opt for from all options that are out there. But don’t get distracted by flashy deals and big promises.

The first step is to identify the providers that can seamlessly integrate with your other business tools and technology, including your point of sale and e-commerce platform. You don’t want to end up overhauling your whole system.

Scalability to support the future growth

As your business grows, so will your payment needs, often with sharp increases in the number of customer transactions. It’s important to consider the cost effectiveness of scaling your business, and how a good payment provider can play a part.

A scalable payment provider should be able to handle high volumes of transactions, new locations, and support multiple payment methods and currencies.

Fast payment processing and funding

Any delays in processing payments can create difficulties for your business, potentially leading to a loss of customers.

A strong cash flow is key to ensuring your company gets off the ground successfully. This means having a payment provider that can offer next-day settlement as this will minimise business disruption and help in optimising revenue.

Selecting the right payment provider for your business is vital for success. By addressing this head-on, businesses can pave the way for smooth operations and business growth.

First class service, today and tomorrow

We sat down with new BAGMA Council member Gavin Pell to discuss how service and support remains the key focus across their 16 depots and how Chandlers are playing their part in attracting the talent of tomorrow.

Tell us about the history of the business and how you, personally, became involved.

Chandlers started out in Grantham in 1935 when Mr Des Chandlers purchased an ironmongers’ shop on Westgate in Grantham, just next to the cattle market and invited his two school friends Joe Pell - my grandfather - and Tom Caunt to work for him in his new enterprise. Des, a farmer’s son from the Vale of Belvoir, had been producing large sectional wooden chicken sheds at his family farm and was looking for a larger premises to work from with better transport linksthe location in Grantham adjacent to the East Coast Mainline was a great place to develop his business. The existing ironmongers business that had traded on that site for the previous hundred or so years was somewhat incidental, but as the premises was purchased from a bankruptcy sale, it came complete with all the stock. My grandfather was employed to run this side of the operation. With all three of them having a farming background, along with the rapid expansion in the mechanisation in farming and the convenient location of the operation near to the cattle market, business flourished and my grandfather, Joe Pell began supplying farm implements to local customers. With the acquisition of the Massey Harris

franchise in the late 1930’s the business developed strongly in the supply and service of tractors, then combines when they were developed by Massey Harris, the pioneers in the combine harvester market.

Whilst growing up I spent time in the parts department on most Saturday mornings and as a small boy in MF overalls and Wellington boots attended many of the local agricultural shows with my father. I then formally joined the business when I left Newcastle University in 2003 where I had studied Applied Biology and then extended my time studying by completing a PhD in Molecular Biology. I was fortunate to have had the opportunity to start out as

a junior salesman, covering the territory South of Lincoln - an area that still feels very much like home today - and learn what the job was really all about, hands on in the field demonstrating and using the products we were supplying and dealing directly with our farming customers, many of which I am pleased to say remain great friends today.

How has the company and its offering evolved during your tenure?

I was very fortunate to have joined the business at a time of rapid growth and development. My father Howard

▼ Chandlers also specialise in the supply of new and used pick-ups from KGM & INEOS Grenadier

Pell had taken on the management of the business in 1983 and there had been various expansions in the intervening years, leading to the acquisition of the agricultural business of Boston Tractors in 2001. This approximately doubled the size of the business, just prior to my involvement. Farming practices during my career have benefited greatly from the tremendous improvement in technology available to our farming customers and our business has evolved and adapted to service these increasingly sophisticated technologies. Tractors have drastically improved in comfort with much improved cabs and suspension, performance has increased with development of tyre technology, tyre inflation systems and smooth CVT transmissions, along with much

the sales team and in dealing with our key suppliers. I am fortunate to have a great team who have the responsibility to manage our sales, parts, service and accounts departments across our sites, each focusing on their areas of expertise. What is the split between the different sectors in which Chandlers operate?

We are first and foremost focused on our core Agricultural business, with this making up the bulk of our operation. However, our Groundscare, Country Stores, Forestry Equipment and Vehicles teams all make up a valuable and growing contribution to the overall business, benefiting from the scale of the machinery business in terms of premises and processes from IT, HR to transport. We are rapidly developing

higher hp machines being the norm. The quality and accuracy of the work done in the fields has improved with the development of precision electronic control of hydraulics and the adoption of RTK GPS steering, variable seed and application maps and the data driven farm management tools to handle and manage the processes.

Chandlers remains first and foremost focused on service. Our role in the industry is the provision of the service and support of our customers and the drive to ever greater technology has been the largest change in the business with our teams adapting to support these very high technology machines. You now have 16 depots covering 9 counties. How do you divide your time between sites to ensure things are running smoothly?

Teamwork is essential to the running of our business. The additional size and scale that has arisen from our expansion over recent years means it would be impossible to directly manage all of our sites personally. Having entered the business carrying out a sales role, I have a naturally greater involvement in the day-to-day operational management of

our Groundscare business – focusing on the import and distribution of the zero-turn mowers from Grasshopper built in the USA. We have taken the same approach with our Forestry Equipment business with Kesla, where we import the equipment and distribute the machinery ourselves in our local region but work closely with lots of other dealer partners across the country where we don’t have the local service support that these products require.

AGCO has been a major part of Chandlers success. How has this relationship developed and have there been any changes in the AGCO offering that have helped you to meet market demand?

AGCO are a fantastic partner in business. While we are not the longest serving Massey dealer in the country, we have been supplying equipment from Massey since the 1930’s and so the relationship has had a long time to develop. One of the greatest strengths that we recognise is that AGCO are fully focused on Agriculture and despite being a young company - established just over 30 years ago - they have made some excellent investments and established a

great line-up of brands. Massey Ferguson, Fendt, Valtra and the more recent joint venture with Trimble forming PTx Trimble, a brand which will have huge importance going forward with the ever increasing demand for high technology products. We have been very fortunate to grow with AGCO, both in terms of the area we cover across the country but also in terms of the amount of products we supply; from forage harvesting and grassland equipment, to the modern range of IDEAL combines. While we now supply MF and Fendt/Valtra through separate subsidiary companies, with teams dedicated to the different brands, this has been a natural progression to provide the appropriate focus to the ever expanding range of products that AGCO supply. We fully support the AGCO Farmer-First strategy which fits very closely with our service focused approach.

We have been particularly impressed with the Fendt brand and their market leading technologies with VarioDrive transmissions - the latest evolution of the Vario CVT - VarioGrip tyre pressure control and ID low rpm engine technology from AGCO Power.

Are you seeing an increase in the demand for electric vehicles in agricultural/groundcare situations, and how do you support these from an aftersales perspective?

With all businesses needing to consider their environmental impact, there has been a clear drive for the adoption of electric equipment but I think at this stage the main reason for uptake has been for performance reasons. With the electric hand held power tools outperforming the petrol engine equivalent in lots of applications. This will always be a more sustainable market

than purely for legislation reasons. We are currently in a transistion period for some of the precision agricultural equipment as well with the OPICO FarmDroid in particular - an excellent example of a technology that is maturing and proving to be a commercial success,

s Chandlers are proud to offer their own engineering apprenticeship programme – the Chandlers Academy run in conjunction with AGCO at Riseholme & Moreton Morrell Colleges and JCB at Reaseheath College.

“It is important that Agricultural and Groundscare dealers have a strong unified voice regarding the key challenges we face in the industry...”

solving the problems of a lack of suitable herbicides. The electric Corvus RTV has certainly also been a popular new product on the market. Have you experienced any challenges with your supply chain and how have you worked to overcome these?

The last 4 or 5 years have certainly seen a lot of turbulence in the supply chain with long lead-times on many products. This is not a new thing and our industry is very resilient. We were in the fortunate position to hold sufficient amounts of stock to cover most of our customers’ requirements and maintain a steady stream of supply. I think, in general, our suppliers faired pretty well in managing a difficult situation which certainly helped us in return.

Chandlers are longstanding BAGMA members – thank you for your support! In your view, what are the benefits of membership for you?

It is important that Agricultural and Groundscare dealers have a strong unified voice regarding the key challenges we face in the industry, especially in relation to changes of legislation that impact our ability to do the job for our farming customers. With BAGMA becoming part of the AEA, I can only see that this voice has been enhanced as the lobbying ability and contact with those in Government has been increased by this partnership. A recent case in point arose around the changes in supply regulations on red diesel that had initially appeared to create an unworkable situation. Ag dealers were unable to purchase and handle red diesel for use by our customers in new and used tractors – customers who were quite entitled to use the red diesel for their farming activities under the new regulations. Enquiries by BAGMA with the appropriate government departments resulted in a formal clarification of the rules that was shared with the fuel

suppliers and a workable solution found. It is this type of issue that BAGMA can be particularly effective in resolving by putting across not just the views of a single dealership but the collective opinion of the industry.

We were delighted to welcome you recently to the BAGMA council. What are the key issues and topics you’d like to see under the spotlight in this role?

I feel that the most important thing BAGMA can do for the dealer network is drive interest in the careers available in agricultural dealerships. While we all know what a fantastic industry this is to work in, with tremendous opportunities for anyone and everyone to progress and succeed, agricultural dealerships and agriculture in general is not viewed as a high-tech or exciting place to work by the general public. There is also potentially a lack of understanding by those in the teaching profession, who are responsible for guiding and influencing pupils, which is something that can certainly be improved.

The TV programme, Clarkson’s Farm has done a lot to engage the public in farming highlighting the realities of what a farmer has to do to be successful and I think the door is wide open to promote employment in dealerships and BAGMA has a pivotal role to play in this. I will be attempting to engage the dealer network in supporting initiatives such as We Are

Land-based Engineering to drive the next generation of engineers, sales and parts personnel that are key to the success of our businesses and industry as a whole. With a landmark birthday on the horizon, what does the future hold for Chandlers?

Service Dealer Ad half page 20062024_print 1.pdf 2 20.06.2024 19:27:14

We are certainly looking forward to raising a glass in 2025 to celebrate 90 years of serving the local farming community – and will have something special to share with our customers next year about the latest chapter in our story. With a young family currently aged 9, 7

Mowing made easy: The Etesia Hydro 80 at Repton School

Maintaining the expansive grounds of Repton School requires precision, efficiency, and innovation.

For Andrew Butler, Head of Grounds and Gardens and his team, the introduction of the Etesia Hydro 80 ride-on mower has not only streamlined operations but also revolutionised the way they manage the school’s green spaces.

Repton School, nestled in the serene surroundings of Derbyshire, boasts extensive grounds that demand meticulous care. From ornamental gardens to sprawling lawns surrounding boarding houses, every corner of the campus requires attention. However, with limited time and resources, the grounds and gardens team found themselves struggling to keep up with the demands of manual mowing using pedestrian mowers.

Andrew explains, “There is a lot of mowing carried out around the boarding house where the team were previously using pedestrian mowers. I felt it was just taking too long, and then other jobs were getting neglected because of it. It just felt like the gardening team were out

mowing all the time and less time was being spent on the actual gardening.”

Featuring a hydrostatic drive and a robust 15hp twin-cylinder Kawasaki engine, the Hydro 80 offers unparalleled efficiency and output. Andrew recounts the transformation brought about by

the Hydro 80, stating, “Now instead of spending all week mowing, it literally takes just a couple of days.”

One of the Hydro 80’s most impressive features is its ability to navigate tight spaces with ease. Andrew notes, “The Etesia Hydro 80 allows us to get into areas where previously we had to use pedestrian mowers. These areas, which previously would have taken an hour or two, are now taking just 15-20 minutes.”

“Its ability to cut and collect in the rain is amazing too,” continues Andrew. “Even in heavy rain the Hydro 80 is out cutting, so again it improves our efficiency.”

As Repton School continues to uphold its reputation for excellence, the Etesia Hydro 80 stands as a testament to the power of innovation in grounds management, ensuring that the campus remains a source of pride and inspiration for all who visit.

New approach to Land-based Engineering apprenticeships

The LE-TEC Apprenticeship Working Group have been engaged in the revision of both the Level 2 and Level 3 Land-based Service Engineering Technician apprenticeship standards.

The revisions are necessary for two reasons. Firstly, the mandatory update requirements imposed by the Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education (IFATE). Secondly, the need to produce bespoke, independent Land-based Engineering apprenticeship standards.

The Plant and Construction sector, who were originally included in the Land-based Engineering standards, now have their own apprenticeship standards. Plant and Construction employers however, are not excluded from using the bespoke Land-based Engineering standards if they consider the new standards align with their requirements.

The review has brought about important changes that will require both employers and training providers to change their approach to the recruitment and development of apprentices.

The new apprenticeship standards come into force later in the year, but action is required now by those employing apprentices from this point forward.

Mel Gardner discusses her experience of the agricultural industry and her

current position as General Manager at PÖTTINGER UK.

Where did it all start for you? How have you seen the industry evolve over that time?

I grew up immersed in farming and agriculture, largely thanks to my father’s involvement in the industry. He managed various farms, from dairy to pigs, across South Africa and the UK. Later, he ventured into animal feeds and eventually founded a successful animal homeopathy family business. Weekends and school holidays were spent helping him out and trying not to cause too much mischief!

My official agricultural career began when I joined a tractor manufacturer as the Country Human Resource Manager. I later moved into the role of Country Dealer Development for the UK and Ireland. Today, I work for the Austrian family business, PÖTTINGER, as their General Manager, overseeing their UK agricultural implement business.

One of the most significant developments I’ve witnessed in the industry has been the rapid advancement of technology and its widespread usability. It’s fascinating to see how the dealer network has embraced the need to incorporate technology into their offerings, staying agile and responsive to market demands.

What do you think are the biggest challenges and opportunities within the agricultural industry?

The agricultural industry faces a range of challenges and opportunities today. On the challenge front, there are issues like climate change, regulatory pressures, input costs, lack of people coming into the industry and the need for sustainable farming practices. The industry must adapt to these changes to ensure longterm viability and productivity along with trying to understand where agriculture policy sits especially with the recent general election.

For me, a major opportunity is trying to attract more people into land-based roles. The land-based industriesagriculture, forestry, environment, horticulture, and amenity - are diverse, important, and exciting. We must continue to promote these sectors with enthusiasm to attract a wider audience.

To secure the future of agriculture, it’s vital to engage the next generations - Gen Y, Gen Z and Gen

Alpha. Organisations like IAgrE, the AEA, and NSL, along with numerous manufacturers, are already working to raise awareness and provide education about the industry and where our food comes from. Charities like Forces Farming recognise the potential in individuals with transferable technical skills, such as those transitioning from the military to civilian careers in many land-based and engineering roles, there have been some fantastic success stories through this initiative.

We must continue to challenge barriers and collaborate on developing the skills needed for the future. There have been significant efforts to attract women into agriculture, and today, I work alongside some incredible female leaders. It is our responsibility to ensure the next generation of women is educated,

How have PÖTTINGER adapted to these threats or opportunities? How is consumer demand driving innovation and what can we expect from PÖTTINGER over the next few years?

We are acutely aware of the challenges and opportunities, and have adapted by continuously innovating our product line to meet the evolving market needs. We are committed to integrating cuttingedge technology into our machinery to enhance efficiency and sustainability. Alongside this we are globally seeking to attract, develop and retain a wider audience into the business.

Consumer demands for sustainability and transparency are significant drivers of innovation. Over the next few years, you can expect PÖTTINGER to introduce even more advanced machinery designed to support sustainable farming practices

encouraged, and empowered to meet the world’s growing needs for food, fuel and fibre. This not only supports ESG investment and the drive for net zero but also positively impacts climate change.

Additionally technological advancements in machinery, data analytics, and automation are transforming how we approach farming. Precision agriculture, for instance, allows for more efficient use of resources, leading to increased yields and reduced environmental impact. This cycles back to the importance of fostering collaboration and the conversation to ensure our industry secures the talent needed for a sustainable future.

and improve overall farm productivity and ruminant health.

Lastly, what is the importance of BAGMA and other associations in supporting you and the wider industry?

Associations like BAGMA play a crucial role in supporting the dealer network. They provide valuable resources, training and advocacy, helping businesses to stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes. For companies like PÖTTINGER, these associations offer a platform for networking, sharing best practices and collaborating on initiatives that drive the industry forward.
