Meet Katie Kelly
My name is Katie Kelly, and I'm a new hire this year to the Animal Services Division at the Department of Agriculture. In the office, I work as an administrative assistant processing applications and payments, filing certificates, and working as a point of communication for our ranchers, vets, and inspectors. I graduated from the University of Oregon last spring and am new to the Phoenix area. Before my recent move, I worked as a high school wrestling coach and loved to stay active with outdoor activities in the Pacific Northwest. Much of my livestock experience is with horses from a family ranch in Oregon that I hope to visit again soon. I am incredibly excited to be a part of this welcoming team and can't wait to explore my new home in Phoenix, my new home.
