Choose your level Whatever your situation, we will have a course at a level that will help you get started towards a rewarding career. Use this guide to get an idea of the level you could start at with us.

No formal qualifications after leaving school

Equivalent to… Life and work skills

ENTRY LEVEL Mostly GCSEs at grade 3-1

Level 1 course with English Language and Maths

One single GCSE

LEVEL 1 Four or more GCSEs at grades 3 or above including English Language or Maths

Level 2 course or Intermediate level Apprenticeship with English Language and Maths

Five or more GCSEs at grades 9-4 including English Language and Maths, or equivalent

Level 3 course, Advanced Level Apprenticeship

Level 3 qualification, A Levels or equivalent

Four GCSEs at grades 9-4

LEVEL 2

Two-Three A Levels

LEVEL 3 *Higher Education or professional courses, such as Bachelor’s Degrees, Foundation Degrees, Higher National Certificates/ Diplomas, Access to Higher Education, AAT and CIPD.

* Some specialist courses ( T Levels for example) require specific entry requirements. Please check our website for more details.
