Access to Learning These programmes are tailored to support an individual depending on their personal needs and to enable them to access the learning that is right for them. Students on these programmes may have missed elements at school, have specific SEND issues, or more complex needs. If you are unsure which programme applies to you, please contact us to discuss.
Gateway The Gateway Centres act as a flexible educational centre within the College in order to engage and prepare you for progression onto a suitable course, employment or training. Based at Abingdon and Witney campuses the Gateway Centres offer supportive and progressive student-led programmes for 14-18 year olds who are not currently in education, employment or training. This may be due to missing school because of illness, phobias, caring responsibilities, etc. or not having found your direction since leaving school. If you are interested, and wish to apply for a place, or just to find out more information, then please contact the college on: 01993 208 008 (Witney) 01235 216 269 (Abingdon) or email: enquiries@abingdon-witney.ac.uk.
