Increase in sales revenue and profitability Wachstum der Absatzeinnahmen und Ertragskraft In 2012, Atlantic Grupa reported an overall revenue in the amount of HRK 5 billion which is 4.8 % higher compared to 2011. The operating profit before interest, taxes and amortization (EBITDA) increased by 14.9 % reaching a figure of HRK 575.1 million, while the net profit after minority interests increased by 18.5 % amounting to HRK 55.2 million. All Strategic Business Units recorded increase in sales revenue, while the largest increase was recorded by Coffee of 8.9%, Pharma and Personal Care of 7.8% and Savoury Spreads of 7.6%.

Das Ergebnis vor Zinsen, Steuern und Abschreibungen (EBITDA) ist um 14,9 Prozent auf 575,1 Millionen Kuna angestiegen, während der Nettogewinn nach Abzug der Minderheitenanteile um 18,5 Prozent wuchs und 55,2 Millionen Kuna beträgt. Ein Absatzwachstum verzeichneten alle Strategischen Geschäftsbereiche, doch das größte Wachstum erfolgte für Kaffee mit 8,9 Prozent, Gesundheit und Pflege mit 7,8 Prozent und Delikatessaufstriche mit 7,6 Prozent.

H

Rnet, the Human Resources department's information system that brings together all information on Atlantic Grupa employees, was launched at the beginning of February.

Now each employee can access it via the intranet while those who do not have a computer can access it via so called „computer stands“, where they'll recieve their username and password. In HRnet you can check your own data, check your payslips, organisational structure, salary statements, vacation scheduling, U3 forms, etc. Requests for vacation time or education become simple and fast processes, which is just one of a number of benefits this system has to offer.

Mit Anfang Februar wurde das HRnet gestartet, ein Informationssystem der Humanressourcen, das alle Informationen über die Mitarbeiter der Atlantic Grupa bündelt. Jeder Mitarbeiter hat ab jetzt über das Intranet Zugang, wobei Mitarbeiter, die bei ihrer Arbeit keinen Computer benutzen, die Möglichkeit haben, sich über Computer an den sogenannten Kiosks einzuloggen, und zwar mit Hilfe des Benutzernamens und Passworts, das ihnen ausgehändigt wird. Im HRnet kann man seine persönlichen Angaben überprüfen, Urlaub anmelden, Gehaltsabrechnung und die Organisationsstruktur einsehen u. A. Die bedeutendste Veränderung in diesem Augenblick bezieht sich auf die Einsicht der Gehaltslisten, womit sich die Notwendigkeit der ausgedruckten Version dieses Dokuments erübrigt, und auf den Urlaubsverwaltungsprozess, der ab jetzt elektronisch erfolgt.

rgeta continues its breakthrough onto the western markets. The end of last year marked its entrance onto the Spanish market, where the retail chain Masymas added excellent Argeta into its selection. Hereby Spain joined other European markets which make up 23% of all of Argeta's sales.

Argeta in Spain has ambitious goals; it wants to be within the top 5 biggest brands in its category. They decided to enter this market due to the size of the market and the high prices within their category. Argeta is presenting itself with tuna flavoured Argeta, Junior Original, Pizza as well as Argeta Snack.

Atlantic's company Mulitpower Iberica is in charge of entering retail chains and coordinating marketing support.

Besides advertisements, tastings are held in stores, which present this product to local consumers.

den spanischen Markt gekennzeichnet, wo die Supermarktkette Masysmas Argeta in ihr Angebot aufgenommen hat.

Damit zählt Spanien zu den restlichen europäischen Märkten, die 23% des Gesamtumsatzes von Argeta ausmachen.

Argeta hat sich in Spanien ehrgeizige Ziele gesetzt; nämlich unter die 5 größten Brands in dieser Kategorie zu kommen.

Die Entscheidung, auf den spanischen Markt vorzudringen, wurde getroffen, weil es sich um einen großen Markt für Aufstriche handelt und in dieser Kategorie hohe Preise erzielt werden. Argeta ist dort mit den Geschmacksrichtungen Thunfisch, Junior Original und Pizza, sowie mit dem Argeta Snack vertreten. Multipower Iberica, das Tochterunternehmen von Atlantic, sorgt für den Einzug von Argeta in die Handelsketten und Marketing-Unterstützung. More favorable loan for Atlantic Günstiger Kredit für Atlantic

tlantic Grupa signed an agreement on refinancing with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the International Finance Corporation (IFC, member of the World Bank Group) and four commercial banking groups. The transaction will amount to EUR 307m, which will be used to refinance Atlantic Grupa’s existing loans under more favourable conditions (with an average interest rate of 4,71 percent, and prolonged maturity). The project was initiated based on a successful integration and consolidation during the last two years, thorough fulfillment of all assumed obligations and the company’s valid strategy. The resources from the agreed package of total value EUR 307m will be primarily used for balance sheet restructuring (EUR 272m). The company will use the remaining amount for additional energy efficiency improvements (EUR 10m) and as working capital financing (EUR 25m).

Die Atlantic Grupa hat mit der Europäischen Bank für Wiederaufbau und Entwicklung (EBRD), der Internationalen Finanzkorporation (IFC, eine Gesellschaft der Weltbankgruppe) und vier Geschäftsbanken einen Refinanzierungsvertrag abgeschlossen. Es handelt sich um eine Transaktion im Wert von 307 Millionen Euro, mit der die Atlantic Grupa zu günstigeren Konditionen (mit einem durchschnittlichen Zinssatz von 4,71 Prozent) bei einer verlängerten Laufzeit bestehende Kreditverpflichtungen refinanzieren wird. Das Projekt wurde aufgrund einer sehr erfolgreichen Integration und Konsolidierung während der vergangenen zwei Jahre, einer gründlichen Erfüllung aller übernommenen Verpflichtungen sowie einer gut durchdachten Konzernstrategie initiert. Die Mittel aus dem vereinbarten Paket in Gesamthöhe von 307 Millionen Euro werden hauptsächlich für die Umstrukturierung der Konzernbilanz verwendet, und zwar in Höhe von 272 Millionen Euro. Den Rest des Gesamtbetrags wird der Konzern für zusätzliche Förderungen der Energieeffizienz (10 Millionen Euro) und als Betriebskapital (25 Millionen Euro) nutzen.

he savings Core program has year in and year out fulfilled its goals. In 2011, its first year, it registered and verified a total of 42 initiatives of lowering costs, which resulted in lower total external costs for Atlantic Grupa of over 5,5 million euros. Fifteen employees registered these initiatives in 2011, but the number of those who participated within teams in preparing and in the realisation of these initiatives was significantly higher. A special recognition in 2011 and a symbolic award as the „Champion of Savings“ was given to Aleksandar Kojić from Central Procurement for his special accomplishments while implementing this initiative.

As a corporate lead buyer in the category of flexible packaging he joined the needs for flexible packaging (primary, foil) of all the operative AG companies in the region and with a joint international tender (RfQrequest for quotation) and direct negotiations which he led with the suppliers signed contracts with better conditions for our operative companies. He reduced the number of suppliers unifying, where possible, foil specifications.

Das CORE-Programm erfüllt Jahr für Jahr die gesetzten Ziele. Im ersten Jahr, 2011, wurden insgesamt 42 Kostensenkungsinitiativen registriert und verifiziert, die zu einem Gesamtrückgang externer Kosten der Atlantic Grupa in Höhe von 5,5 Millionen Euro führten. Die Initiativen 2011 wurden von 15 Mitarbeitern registriert, doch die Zahl derer, die innerhalb der Teams zur Vorbereitung und Realisierung dieser Initiativen bei-

Für besondere Verdienste bei der Durchführung von Kostensenkungsinitiativen im Jahr 2011 wurde Aleksandar Kojić aus der Zentralen Beschaffung mit einer Anerkennung und einem symbolischen Preis zum „Einsparungschampion“ gekürt. Er hat als Lead Buyer des Konzerns für die Kategorie Flexible Verpackungen die Bedürfnisse aller operativen Unternehmen der AG aus der Region in diesem Bereich (vorrangig nach Folien) gebündelt und mittels einer gemeinsamen internationalen Angebotsanforderung (RfQ – request for quotation) und direkten Verhandlungen mit den Zulieferern Verträge zu günstigen Konditionen für unsere operativen Unternehmen abgeschlossen, wobei er damit die Anzahl der Zulieferer im Vergleich zur vorherigen Situation reduzierte und die Folienspezifikation, wo das möglich war, vereinheitlichte.

Gasification Project at the Belgrade Manufacturing Location Gaserschließungsprojekt am Produktionsstandort Belgrad A special emphasis for for SBU Coffee manufacturing location in Belgrade in 2012 was the realization of the gasification project. Since October 2012, gas is used in the technological procedure of frying coffee. After the realization of this project the results of measuring legally regulated ecological standards eliminated the negative effect on the surroundings. By this, a huge investment was avoided for purchasing additional catalysts for refining gas waste. Since October 2012, the quarterly savings gained were 70.000 EUR, which will also be generated in the upcoming period.

Die Realisierung des Projektes zum Aufbau eines Gasnetzes am Produktionsstandort Belgrad 2012 war für den SGB Kaffee von besonderer Bedeutung. Seit Oktober 2012 wird im technischen Röstungsverfahren von Kaffee Gas genutzt. Nach der Realisierung des Projektes ergaben Messungen der gesetzlich vorgeschriebenen ökologischen Standards, dass negative Einflüsse auf die Umwelt beseitigt wurden.

Auf diese Weise wurde eine hohe Investition in die Beschaffung von zusätzlichen Katalysatoren zur Reinigung von Abgasen vermieden.

Seit Oktober 2012 wurden Einsparungen auf Quartalsebene in Höhe von 70.000 EUR verzeichnet, was sich auch im kommenden Zeitraum fortsetzen wird.

T

he Logistics department in 2012 implemented the web application Lognet, a modern IT tool for organizing transport. This tool connects all members of the Group with its outsourced logistics partners in Southeast Europe which gives a secure and more closed network within AG and its associates. Connecting all the legal entities within AG in the southeastern region into a joint logistics network saves enormously and helps organization. With the aim to optimally use all kinds of transport the members of AG founded two centers for managing tranport organization in: Atlantic Trade Zagreb for Cedevita, Neva, Fidifarm and DK and Atlantic Brands Belgrade for Soko Štark, Grand Prom, Palanački Kiseljak and DK.

Die Logistikabteilung hat im Jahr 2012 die Web-Anwendung Lognet umgesetzt, ein modernes informatisches Tool für die Transportorganisation, mit der alle Gesellschaften der Gruppe mit externen logistischen Partnern in Südosteuropa verbunden sind, womit ein sicheres geschlossenes Netz innerhalb der AG und ihren Partnern gewährleistet wird. Zum Ziele einer optimalen Nutzung aller Transportarten der AG-Gesellschaften wurden auch zwei Verwaltungszentren für die Transportorganisation gegründet, und zwar: Atlantic Trade Zagreb für Cedevita, Neva, Fidifarm und DK sowie Atlantic Brands Belgrad für Soko Štark, Grand Prom, Palanački Kiseljak und DK.

Along with New Equipment – Production Increases and Maximum Savings Produktionssteigerung und maximale Einsparungen mit neuer Ausstattung Wenn man die Ergebnisse zusammenfasst und sich das Jahr unterm Strich ansieht, kann sich Palanački Kiseljak mit einem umfassenden Fortschritt und besseren Leistungen rühmen. Die mengenmäßigen Pläne wurden zu 100% erfüllt. Das Engagement der Mitarbeiter und die von der Atlantic Grupa getätigte Investition in Höhe von 823.000 EUR haben Palanački Kiseljak im Jahr 2012 einen großen Schritt nach vorne ermöglicht.

Die Fabrik hat eine neue Ausstattung für Flaschenproduktion, einen ölfreien Hochdruckkompressor und eine automatische Palettierung bekommen. Diese Investition stellt einen Wendepunkt in der Entwicklung der Fabrik dar. Außer der modernen, schnelleren und besseren Ausstattung öffnet sich auch der Weg für die weitere Entwicklung und Investition.

Die Mengen, die wir bis vor kurzem noch in drei Schichten produzierten, schaffen wir heute in zwei Schichten, mit einem niedrigeren Energieverbrauch und weniger Arbeitskraft.

This means that the sales agent can take telephone orders and already begin the product delivery procedure. This way logistics expenditures of the sales force have drastically been lowered, without decreasing quality or sales quantity toward consumers.

Bei Atlantic Trade Zagreb und Atlantic Brands Belgrad wurde die Arbeitsorganisation bezüglich des Verkaufs an kleinere Kunden teilweise umorganisiert und ein Arbeitsmodell mittels Call-Center eingeführt, wo die Verkaufsagenten per Telefon Bestellungen aufnehmen und den Warenlieferungsprozess einleiten. Damit werden die Logistikkosten der Verkaufskraft im Außendienst deutlich gesenkt, wobei die Qualität und der Umfang des Verkaufs beibehalten werden.

alanački Kiseljak can commend itself for its better performance and improvement while summarizing and evaluating last year's results and accounts. Its goals for that year were completely fulfilled. A huge step for Palanački Kiseljak was made possible in 2012 due to its employees hardwork and Atlantic Grupa's realised investment in the amount of 823.000 EUR. The factory received new equipment for producing bottles, oil-free high pressure compressor and automatic palletization.

This investment marked a turning point for the factory's development. Besides having modern, quick and good quality equipment a path for further development and investments has opened. The amounts which we had produced up until yesterday in three shifts today are done within two, with less energy costs and work force. And most importantly the quality and safety have significantly improved as well as the visual impression our products leave on consumers.

Data Center Joined and Centralised Data-Center bündelt und zentralisiert

he implementation of a new regional data center for placing IT infrastructure has begun due to the integration and consolidation of business solutions in the regions of Croatia and Slovenia. The project is called ITIc, which is the abbreviation for IT Infrastructure consolidation. This project will consolidate the existing infrastructure of data centers in Croatia and Slovenia, lower the costs of maintenance as well as centralize its management of certain IT services while raising the quality of its service and support. With this data center which has been made according to the most modern standards AG is taking a step forward in a technological base of IT infrastructure, which will allow further work on integrating and consolidating its business IT system. The data center was built on the Rakitnice location in Zagreb, and the first servers, network equipment and other IT equipment were introduced in February. Zum Zwecke der Integration und Konsolidierung der Geschäftslösungen in der Region Kroatien und Slowenien wurde ein Projekt zur Umsetzung eines neuen regionalen Data-Centers zur Unterbringung der IT-Infrastruktur gestartet. Das Projekt trägt den Namen ITIC, die Abkürzung für IT Infrastructure Consolidation. Mit diesem Projekt wird die bestehende Infrastruktur der Data-Center in Kroatien und Slowenien konsolidiert, die Instandhaltungskosten werden gesenkt, und die Verwaltung bestimmter IT-Dienste zentralisiert, wobei die Qualität der Arbeit und Unterstützung durch diese Dienste angehoben wird. Mit diesem Data-Center, das nach den modernsten Standards errichtet wird, macht die AG bezüglich der technischen Grundlage und IT Infrastruktur einen großen Schritt nach vorne, womit auch die weitere Arbeit an der Integration und Konsolidierung des Geschäftlichen IT-Systems ermöglicht wird. Das Data-Center wurde am Standort Rakitnica in Zagreb errichte, und die ersten Server, Netzausrüstung und sonstige IT-Ausstattung sind schon im Februar eingezogen.

Grand's Campaigns again a Success Erneuter Erfolg der Grand - Kampagnen GRAND KAFA "ŠOLJICE"- BEST COMMERCIAL IN 2012 BESTE WERBUNG 2012

According to the audience's opinion and the professional public, Grand kafa „Šoljice“ is the best television commercial in 2012 in Serbia, this was concluded at the traditional Night of the Commercials Competition, Noć reklamoždera. The „Šoljice“ campaign shows the magical world of coffee in a profined and warm way along with the message „We are all joined together by both the aroma and taste“. At the end of December the professional association UEPS (Economic Association of Serbian Propagandists – the oldest advertising association in Serbia) awarded this campaign with three gold recognitions: for best TV commercial in 2012, for best radio commercial and for the best integrated campaign ( in the beverages category).

Nach Ansicht des Publikums und der Fachwelt ist die Grand kafa – Werbung „Šoljice“ (Tässchen) die beste TV-Werbung 2012 in Serbien, so die Schlussfolgerung beim traditionellen Wettbewerb „Noć reklamoždera“ (Nacht der Werbungsschlucker). We have once more had the chance to enjoy a comical play and real mini plays of Milena Dravić and Dragan Nikolić who have this time prepared a surprise for their longtime guests, by turning up at their doorstep.

A Record 25.2 Million Liters of Donat Mg Were Sold in 2012 Rekord von 25,2 Millionen verkaufter Donat Mg- Liter 2012

I

n 2012 Donat Mg achieved a new sales record of 25.2 million liters. An excellent distribution network and a careful, goal oriented and regional set up of 3600 marketing activities were responsible for such great success, they emphasized in Donat. Donat Mg's sales were at their peak in 1986, when they sold approxiametly 22.1 million liters, mostly on the domestic market of former Yugoslavia and on foreign markets such as Austria, Italy, Switzerland, and at the end of that period even in Hungary.

At the time of the fall of Yugoslavia sales also dropped for Donat Mg, but a new cycle began in 1995 when Kolinska d.d. bought the bottling plant Rogaški vrelci.

Im Jahr 2012 hat Donat Mg einen neuen Verkaufsrekord von 25,2 Millionen Liter erzielt. Ein so großer Erfolg ist dem ausgezeichneten Vertriebsnetz und den sorgfältigen, gezielten sowie regional angelegten Marketingaktivitäten zu verdanken, wie bei Donat betont wird. Donat Mg erreichte 1986 seinen Höhepunkt, als um die 22,1 Millionen Liter des Produkts verkauft wurden, zumeist auf dem heimischen Markt des damaligen Jugoslawiens sowie den ausländischen Märkten Australiens, Italiens, der Schweiz, und zum Ende dieses Zeitraums auch Ungarns. Als der jugoslawische Staat auseinander brach, fiel auch der Verkauf von Donat Mg, aber 1995 begann ein neuer Zyklus, als Kolinska d.d. die Abfüllanlage Rogaški vrelci aufkaufte.

He holds all three values of the company: passion, responsibility and creativity. With his calmness and prudence he is a positive influence on people. He has the talent of building good relationships between people because he, himself, is like this: simple, human and approachable, while not being any less professional. He is very broad-minded and experienced. He was warmly welcomed by virtually every shop manager. He visited us while we were working in the field and worked with us. Even though he was wearing dress pants and white shirt he often helped us stack goods, even got down on his knees to get the work done, if necessary. He was a role model of how to work and behave. He proved that no task is too difficult and that everything can get done if only one has the will to do so.

His motto was “where there’s a will, there’s a way”. At work he was very ingenious. When faced with a problem he was not satisfied with an average solution, rather always searched for the best solution. If product was spilt on a shelf he wanted to know the reason why and how this could be prevented in the future. He was very persistent, thus teaching us to strive toward our own personal development. He often motivated us and taught us how to do a certain job in order for each individual to be able to contribute to the overall success of the whole field team. He was committed to this cause, motivating others to be like him and was eventually promoted, thus proving, that effort does pay off in the end.

Er lebt alle drei Werte der Firma: Leidenschaft, Verantwortung und Kreativität. Durch seine Besonnenheit und Ruhe übt er einen positiven Einfluss auf sein Umfeld aus. Da er einfach, menschlich und zugänglich ist, hat er das Talent, gute zwischenmenschliche Beziehungen aufzubauen. Dies lässt ihn jedoch nicht weniger professionell erscheinen. Er hat eine offene Weltanschauung und verfügt über eine reiche Lebens- und Berufserfahrung. Fast jeder Geschäftsleiter hat ihm einen warmen Empfang bereitet. Er besuchte uns, als wir vor Ort arbeiteten und arbeitete mit uns. Obwohl er immer elegante Hosen und ein weißes Hemd anhatte, half er uns oft dabei, die Waren ins Regal einzuordnen. Wenn es notwendig war, kniete er sich sogar hin. Sein Motto war: „Wo ein Wille ist, ist auch ein Weg“. Auf der Arbeit war er ein richtiges Genie. Wenn er vor einem Problem stand, war er nicht mit durschnittlichen Ergebnissen zufrieden, sondern suchte nach den besten. Wenn sich ein Produkt im Regal verschüttete, wollte er wissen, warum, um dies beim nächsten Mal verhindern zu können. Er war sehr hartnäckig. Dadurch brachte er uns bei, nach unserer eigenen Entwicklung zu streben.

Er motivierte uns oft und lehrte uns, wie man eine bestimmte Arbeit ausüben kann, damit jeder von uns zum Gesamterfolg des Teams vor Ort beitragen kann. Er hat sich diesem Ziel gewidmet und motivierte durch sein Engagement andere dafür, so zu sein wie er. Er bewies oft, dass sich die Mühe am Ende doch lohnt: letztendlich wurde er befördert.

Tomaž Janežič has spent the entire duration of his 25 year long work experience at Droga Kolinska. He started his career as an apprentice in production, and continued as a locksmith until 1993, when he started his experience in sales as a sales representative and field commercialist. He has been working as Key Account Manager since 2001. MIJO PAŠALIĆ „Ray of Sunshine“Mijo Pašalić, Head of Accounting, SDU Croatia „Der Sonnenstrahl“Mijo Pašalić, Leiter der Rechnungsführung, SVB Kroatien With nearly 22 years of work experience within the Atlantic Grupa system, Mijo Pašalić has spent his entire career as head of the accounting sector, where he still runs that department in SDU Croatia with his valuable experience and knowledge.

Mijo Pašalić is a huge fan of Dinamo and a recreational soccer player, and enjoys playing belote with his friends. He looks forward to each visit to his hometown (Šuica), where he often hikes on the slopes of the Dinaric Alps and enjoys watching herds of wild horses – mustangs. That area is tied to his launching a fund for awarding scholarships to children of poor socio-economic status.

Mijo Pašalić hat 22 seiner Arbeitsjahre innerhalb der Strukturen der Atlantic Grupa als Leiter des Sektors für Rechnungsführung verbracht, wo er auch heute mit seiner wertvollen Erfahrung und seinem Wissen diese Abteilung beim SVB Kroatien führt. Mijo Pašalić ist ein begeisterter Fan des Zagreber Fußballklubs „Dinamo Zagreb“ und spielt in seiner Freizeit selbst Fußball, aber auch Karten mit seinen Freunden. Er freut sich auf jeden Besuch in seiner Heimat (Šuica), wo er oft die Hänge des Berges Dinara genießt und die Herden wilder Pferde – der Mustangs – beobachtet. Gerade mit dieser Region ist auch seine Initiative zur Gründung einer Stiftung für die Verleihung an Stipendien an sozial und wirtschaftlich benachteiligte Kinder verbunden.

I have only words of gratitude for my colleague and I’m nominating him for the “Ray of Sunshine” category. He is a quiet, good, and positive man, always ready to help both professionally and privately. He encourages people to learn, use logic, and it is all spiced up with anecdotes and jokes from his hometown, so the entire personal growth process that is often very stressful, becomes a lot easier… He transfers his rich experience to everyone, not expecting any favors in return, or special thanks. I cannot count the specific situations where he helped the job get done because it happens on a daily basis. For each set task that needs to get done, and I’m not sure about the exact result… he is here! This is especially true for the time when monthly financial reports are drawn up, when we work closely together with the Accounting Department. He is something of a WILDCARD! Not just for me, but for the whole team. Of course, he greets me at the door with a comment like, “I love to see you just as much as my eyes love onions,” and with a smile he takes a paper and pencil, listens and writes… and within a few minutes, the solution is ready. It is always pleasant, good and fun to work with him… I truly hope the value of this gentleman will be recognized and awarded through this commendable activity.

Ich habe nur lobende Worte für meinen Kollegen, der in der Kategorie „Sonnenstrahl“ nominiert wurde. Er ist ein stiller, guter, positiver und immer hilfsbereiter Mensch – sowohl beruflich, als auch privat. Er ermutigt die Leute, zu lernen, die Logik einzusetzen und „würzt“ das alles mit Anekdoten und Späßen aus seiner Heimatstadt.

Auf diese Weise wird der gesamte Prozess der eigenen Entwicklung, der oft stressig ist, viel leichter. Er schenkt seinen Reichtum weiter, verlangt dafür nichts und erwartet keinen besonderen Dank. Ich könnte all die Situationen, bei denen er angepackt hat, damit die Arbeit erledigt wird, nicht einmal aufzählen. Sie passieren ja jeden Tag. Für jede Aufgabe, die erledigt werden muss und deren Endergebnisse ich nicht einschätzen kann, ist er da! Das gilt insbesondere für die Zeit, in der die monatlichen Finanzberichte vorbereitet werden (wenn wir mit der Abteilung für Rechnungswesen zusammenarbeiten). Er ist ein Ass im Ärmel! Nicht nur für mich, sondern für das ganze Team. Natürlich wartet er vor meiner Tür mit dem Kommentar: „Ich freue mich, Dich zu sehen, so wie sich die Katze auf den Hund freut“. Dann nimmt er lächelnd Papier und Bleistift, hört zu und macht Notizen...Und innerhalb von einigen Minuten ist die Lösung da.

Es ist immer gut, lustig und eine wahre Freude, mit ihm zu arbeiten. Ich hoffe wirklich, dass der Wert dieses Herrn durch diese lobenswerte Aktion anerkannt und belohnt wird.

He started as a deliveryman in Vičiški komerc 7 years ago, and over the past year at the position of Head of Transport. He spends his free time on sports, mostly on basketball and football.

Goran Tragčevski hat den Großteil seiner neunjährigen Karriere bei Atlantic verbracht.

Begonnen hat er als Kurier bei Vičiški komerc vor sieben Jahren, und seit einem Jahr ist er Transportleiter. In seiner Freizeit widmet er sich dem Sport und spielt zumeist Basketball und Fußball.

There is no person that fits better in this category than him because the explanation of the “Climb the Mountain Award” is a brief explanation of his personality. He is a hard worker determined to finish his job efficiently and professionally and I believe there is no obstacle that he cannot overcome. His job includes a lot of deadlines, excellent organization skills and enormous flexibility. The end results of his work are proof that he not only manages to combine all the obligations mentioned above, rather he is also there for his colleagues in need of help. I cannot name one perfect example that makes him the right choice for the ”Climb the Mountain Award”.

Instead I will describe how he manages a certain situation/problem under different circumstances. During our campaigns large amounts of our products need to be transported and coordinated among all distributors. The main problem is meeting deadlines - when these products need to arrive at the appropriate markets. During this period, when everyone is under pressure, he manages to stay calm, coordinates everyone and gets the job done on time without mistakes. Very often he expands his scope of work and helps Sales Department staff and as a result everyone is satisfied. In short, he is a person who sees a challenge not a problem, who has a goal not an obstacle, who communicates rather than ignores.

Es gibt keine Person, die dieser Kategorie mehr angehören würde, als er. Die Erklärung des Begriffs: Preis „Ersteige den Berg“ beschreibt in Kürze seine Persönlichkeit. Er ist eine fleißige Person, die seine Arbeit entschlossen, effizient und professionell verrichtet. Ich glaube, es gibt keine Hürde, die er nicht überwinden kann. Seine Arbeit schliesst viele Fristen, hervorragende organisatorische Fähigkeiten und unheimlich viel Flexibilität ein. Das Endergebnis seiner Arbeit beweist, dass er es nicht nur schafft, alle angeführten Verpflichtungen zu kombinieren, sondern dass er auch immer dazu bereit ist, seinen Kollegen zu helfen. Ich kann nicht ein einziges tolles Beispiel nennen, dass ihn zur richtigen Wahl für den Preis „Ersteige den Berg“ machen würde. Stattdessen werde ich beschreiben, wie er eine bestimmte Situation/ ein bestimmtes Problem unter verschiedenen Umständen meistert. Während unserer Marketingkampagnen muss man große Produktmengen zwischen allen Vertreibern befördern und koordinieren. Das Hauptproblem sind dabei die Fristen (wann die Produkte auf den Markt kommen sollen). In dieser Phase, wenn alle unter Druck stehen, gelingt es ihm, Ruhe zu bewahren, alles zu koordinieren und die Arbeit zeitig und fehlerfrei zu Ende zu führen. Sehr oft weitet er seinen Tätigkeitsbereich aus und hilft den Mitarbeitern der Verkaufsabteilung.

Am Ende sind alle zufrieden. Kurz gefasst: Er ist eine Person, die Herausforderungen sieht und keine Probleme, die ein Ziel hat und keine Hürden, die kommuniziert, und nicht ignoriert.

A colleague who we have turned to when faced with a problem and who has inspired us and helped us solve it.

MARJAN PETROVSKI „ S u r f t h e Wa v e “ a w a r d : Marjan Petrovski, – Sales Representative M a n a g e r, AT S k o p j e Preisträger „Reite die We l l e “ : M a r j a n P e t r o v s k i – L e i t e r d e r H a n d e l s v e r t r e t e r, AT S k o p j e Marjan Petrovski has spent 14 years of his 22-year work experience within the Atlantic system, first as a commercialist and sales representative, after which he was promoted to the position of supervisor in Droga Kolinska Skopje. He is currently leading a team of 12 at the position of Sales Representative Manager, responsible for the North-Central region of Macedonia, and achieving excellent sales results from the first day of integration.

In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball and football, where he combines socializing and sport, and also often goes skiing or diving, depending on the season.

Marjan Petrovski, hat 22 Arbeitsjahre hinter sich, von denen er 14 in den Strukturen von Atlantic verbracht hat; zuerst als Kaufmann und Handelsvertreter, und danach wurde er zum Supervisor bei Droga Kolinska Skopje befördert. Momentan ist er als Leiter der Handelsvertreter für ein Team von 12 Personen verantwortlich und erzielt schon seit dem ersten Tag der Integration ausgezeichnete Verkaufsergebnisse, sein geographischer Verantwortungsbereich bezieht sich auf Nordund Zentral-Mazedonien. In seiner Freizeit spielt er gerne Basketball und Fußball, wo er Sport und Gesellschaft verbindet. Abhängig von der Jahreszeit geht er auch oft Ski fahren oder tauchen.

He is always innovative when it’s a question of positioning products and promo packs in shops, therefore, influencing an increase in sales. He knows how to make something out of nothing. For example, he created a very good secondary position by using boxes, ribbons and cups from products he bought himself from promo packs and, as a result, we got a position that was very noticeable in the shop. Once he cut old POS materials into the shape of displays for frontal positioning and created a very good secondary position, not to mention times when he proposes a lot of new activities in order to achieve plans during tough months.

Er ist immer innovativ in der Platzierung von Produkten und Werbepaketen zu üblichen oder reduzierten Preisen. Seine Kreativität reflektiert sich selbstverständlich auch auf die Steigerung der Verkaufszahlen. Er weiß, wie man aus Nichts Etwas machen kann. Es gelang ihm z.B. aus normalen Pappkartons, Bändern und Tassen, die er ursprünglich für sich als Set gekauft hatte, eine sehr auffällige Produktplatzierung im Laden zu gestalten.

Einmal hat er alte POS-Unterlagen in der Form eines Bildschirms für die Erstplatzierung ausgeschnitten und daraus eine hervorragende Zweitplatzierung gemacht. Man muss gar nicht die Fälle erwähnen, wenn er zahlreiche neue Aktivitäten vorschlägt, um seinen Plan in den schwierigen Monaten zu verwirklichen.

A colleague we have approached when we needed a new outlook on things, and who helped us create and introduce changes.

Ein Kollege, der am besten den Wert der Kreativität (Welle) repräsentiert und der aktiv an die Findung neuer Lösungen für die Herausforderungen der Arbeit herangeht, ein Problem schnell identifiziert und Lösungsmodelle vorschlägt, kreative, machbare und nützliche Wege zur Lösung eines Problems erschließt, neue Wege der Verbesserung der Arbeit und der Arbeitsprozesse bahnt. or the third year in a row the Zagreb Atlantic Christmas party was held in the Roko and Akademija clubs to round off the year. In his speech, President of the Management Board, Emil Tedeschi thanked all present on their diligence and dedication throughout the years, especially under today’s challenging conditions. DJ Vedran Rako pumped out the tunes and got everybody’s blood flowing until the Keep Cool Band took the stage and were joined by “Atlantic’s top voices” Davor Lenčić and Robert Žurić, who thrilled their colleagues with a number of hits.

CROATIA / KROATIEN Die Weihnachtsfeier von Atlantic in Zagreb, die schon zum dritten Mal hintereinander in den Klubs Roko und Akademija stattfand, hat noch einmal das Geschäftsjahr abgeschlossen. In seinem Grußwort bedankte sich der Vorstandsvorsitzende Emil Tedeschi für die wertvolle und engagierte Arbeit in all den Jahren, und besonders unter den heutigen herausfordernden Bedingungen.

Das musikalische Programm heizte zunächst DJ Vedran Rako ein, und danach betrat die Band Keep Cool die Bühne. Davor Lenčić und Robert Žurić, „die ersten Stimmen von Atlantic“ gesellten sich zur Band und begeisterten die Kollegen erneut mit ihrer Version einiger Hits.

The Atlantic New Year’s party in Bosnia & Herzegovina was held on December 28 in the Unitic Business Center for the employees of Cedevita, Argeta and Kofikom Produkt. Also attending the party were colleagues from Slovenia and Russia: Nataša Bazjak Cristini, Enzo Smrekar, Andrej Bele and Emir Hrković. Enzo Smrekar took a short look back over the business success from the past year and earned the applause of all those present at the party.

BOSNIA & HERZEGOVINA / BOSNIEN UND HERZEGOWINA Die Neujahrsparty von Atlantic in Bosnien und Herzegowina fand am 28. Dezember im Unitic Business Center statt und versammelte Atlantic-Mitarbeiter von Cedevita, Argeta und Kofikom Produkt. Bei der Feier waren auch Gäste aus Slowenien und Russland - Nataša Bazjak Cristini, Enzo Smrekar, Andrej Bele und Emir Hrković. Mit einem kurzen Rückblick auf die 2012 erzielten Erfolge begrüßte Enzo Smrekar die Anwesenden und erntete positiven und lauten Applaus.

ur colleagues from Slovenia chose the Cvetličarna Club in Ljubljana for their Christmas party. After being greeted by SBU Slovenia, Serbia and Macedonia Vice-president Bojan Klarić, the party loaded with a diverse program went on into the wee hours of the night. Various performers and interactive games entertained everybody, though the party was not complete because the snowbound colleagues from Izola could not make it due to bad weather.

Nach einem Grußwort von Bojan Klarić, dem Vizepräsidenten des SVB Slowenien, Serbien und Mazedonien, setzte sich die Feier mit einem reichen Programm bis tief in die Nacht fort. Verschiedene Interpreten und interaktive Spiele unterhielten die Kollegen, und das einzige, was die Feier noch besser gemacht hätte, wären die Kollegen aus Izola gewesen, die wegen schlechtem Wetter und Schnee nicht dabei sein konnten.

ur colleagues and their guests in Macedonia held their traditional pre-New Year’s party on Dec. 22 at the Skoplje based Mkc Club restaurant to mark the end of another successful year at Atlantic Macedonia. The Session Selection Band rocked the festivities that were also attended by colleagues from Zagreb and Belgrade, while Bojan Klarić and Perica Vičiški thanked all present on their excellent success in 2012.

Das Restaurant MKC Club in Skopje war der perfekte Ort für die schon traditionelle Vorneujahrsparty. Die gute Gesellschaft wurde von der Band Session Selection begleitet, und dabei waren auch Kollegen aus Zagreb und Belgrad, während Bojan Klarić und Perica Vičiški allen Anwesenden für die ausgezeichneten Erfolge im Jahr 2012 ihren Dank aussprachen.

he second pre-New year’s party for most Atlantic Serbia staff was held on Friday Dec. 21 in the Dedinje Club in Belgrade. The entertainment was provided by the Degustatori & Tempera Band and MC Srdjan Karanović. Also at the party were colleagues from Zagreb, as well as the Niš, Čačak and Srbobran distribution centers. Srećko Nakić thanked all present on their efforts and excellent business that rendered our company one of the top companies in the region that year.

In 2012 Cockta took over night clubs and created wonderful memories for party animals in Slovenia, Croatia, B&H and Serbia. There were over eighty exclusive parties with dance-hungry patrons who grooved to Cockta mix music, enjoying Cockta cocktails, while hostesses brightened up the whole Cockta Live Tour with a bunch of great prizes. Last year Cockta found its way into the refrigerators of numerous households, cafés, as well as being a great companion on excursions and sports events, not to mention a hot item at a lot of excellent parties at numerous clubs.

Cockta eroberte 2012 die Klubs und bleibt so in schöner Erinnerung all derer, die zusammen mit Cockta in Slowenien, Kroatien, Bosnien und Herzegowina und Serbien gefeiert haben. — D O N AT M G — Donat Mg decided to find a place among the leading opinion makers in Bosnia & Herzegovina and Serbia through personal contacts and education for doctors. This effort was assisted by professionals that visit and educate 100 general practitioners in and around Belgrade, along with another 34 gynecologists and 28 general practitioners from the Sarajevo area with a tendency to expand to the areas of Tuzla and Banja Luka in 2013. Donat Mg was also presented at Breast Feeding Days in Sarajevo and the Family Medicine Conference in Belgrade, where the feedback was more than positive.

Donat Mg hat beschlossen sich durch persönlichen Kontakt zu Ärzten und Fortbildungen für Ärzte eine Position unter den Meinungsbildnern zu sichern. Hilfe leisten dabei die Expertenmitarbeiterinnen die 100 Familienärzte in Belgrad und 34 Gynäkologen sowie 28 Familienärzte in Sarajewo besuchen und fortbilden, wobei die Tendenz besteht, diese Aktivitäten auf die Städte Tuzla und Banja Luka zu erweitern. Donat Mg stellte sich auch bei den sog.

Stilltagen in Sarajewo und beim Kongress für Familienmediziner in Belgrad vor, wo das erhaltene Feedback mehr als positiv war.

The Bebi baby food program was at the “Pharmacotherapy and Nutrition in Pediatrics Conference” in Siberia last October. There were over 800 pediatricians and healthcare professionals at the conference. Bebi participated with a booth at the fair and informed visitors about Bebi products, handed out samples of Bebi baby food and Bebi Premium Tea. There was also a tasting of new products like juices and Bebi Premium Puree, as well as cookies that included: Bebiki, “Mother’s Recipe” and gluten-free “First Tooth”.

Das Kindernahrungsprogramm von Bebi hat im Oktober an einer Konferenz unter dem Titel „Pharmakotherapie und Ernährungswissenschaft in der Pädiatrie“ in Sibirien teilgenommen. Auf der Konferenz waren mehr als 800 Kinderärzte und Experten für Gesundheitswesen. Bei der messeartigen Ausstellung hatte auch Bebi einen Stand, wo die Besucher sich über die Bebi-Produkte informiert, Proben der Bebi-Breis und des Bebi Premium Tees bekommen und neue Produkte, wie die Säfte und das Bebi Premium Püree, die Kekse „Bebiki“, „Mamas Rezept“ und die glutenfreien Kekse „Erster Zahn“ kosten konnten.

In the Atlantic Grupa building in Skopje, after redoing the basement at the end of the year, a new area was opened where employees could relax for a bit in a pleasant atmosphere. Morning coffee has become a real joy in the new space, while conversation among colleagues and hanging out during the working day have rendered the working day for our Skopje colleagues even more pleasant.

Im Geschäftsgebäude der Atlantic Grupa in Skopje wurden Ende des Jahres, nach der Renovierung des Souterrains, die neuen Räumlichkeiten eröffnet, in denen die Mitarbeiter in angenehmer Atmosphäre eine Pause vom Alltag machen können. Im neuen Pausenraum ist der morgendliche Kaffee zu einem wahren Genuss geworden und Gespräche mit den Kollegen sowie auch deren Gesellschaft während der Arbeitszeit machen für die Kollegen aus Skopje den Arbeitstag noch angenehmer.

The research of employee engagement conducted at the end of the year had the goal of establishing what motivates or demotivates Atlantic team members, and the results showed that 30% are highly engaged, and 27% are actively unengaged. Since the experience, skills, and knowledge of employees, their satisfaction and a good sense of fitting in with their surroundings are key factors in long-term work success, this research was supposed to establish the strong points, and where there is room for improvement. A survey showed that the average engagement is 3.48 on a scale from 1 to 5, and the goal is to achieve a ratio of 2:1, where twice as many are engaged than actively unengaged.

Ende des Jahres wurde eine Untersuchung des Mitarbeiterengagements durchgeführt, deren Ziel es war, herauszufinden, was die Mitarbeiter motiviert und demotiviert. Das Ergebnis hat gezeigt, dass 30% unserer Mitarbeiter hochengagiert sind und 27% aktiv nicht engagiert sind. Da die Erfahrung, Kenntnisse und Fertigkeiten der Mitarbeiter, ihre Zufriedenheit und eine angenehme Arbeitsatmosphäre zu den Schlüsselfaktoren für langfristigen Arbeitserfolg gehören, sollte diese Untersuchung unsere Stärken aufzeigen, aber auch identifizieren, wo noch Raum für Verbesserungen besteht. Die Umfrage hat gezeigt, dass das durchschnittliche Engagement auf einer Skala von 1-5 bei 3,48 liegt. Ziel ist es ein 2:1 Verhältnis zu erreichen, bzw. doppelt so viel engagierte Mitarbeiter im Verhältnis zur Anzahl an nicht engagierten Mitarbeitern.

years of being a good side of bread Jahre der guten Seite des Brots Argeta was first produced in Izola over 55 years ago and was simply called “Chicken pâté”. It got its name twenty years later and even today it is synonymous with top of the line pâté. Argeta also represents good business with an annual income of around 80 million euro.

A kind of technological revolution happened in 1957 in the former Yugoslavia when the Izola based Argo factory began producing the first instant chicken soups in the country. Argo instant powder and cube soups were an overnight success.

Argo instant soup concentrate was made from chicken soup cooked in huge cauldrons. That resulted in left over high quality cooked chicken meat that was used to make a tasty pâté by technologists that was named Argeta in the late nineteen seventies.

Considering that we know people do all the work, let’s let those most knowledgeable talk about Argeta.

Vor mehr als 55 Jahren begann in Izola die Produktion von Argeta unter dem einfachen Namen Hühnerpastete. Zwanzig Jahre später bekam sie Ihren Namen, der heute ein Synonym für Spitzenbrotaufstriche ist. Argeta ist auch ein gutes Geschäft, das jährlich mehr als 80 Millionen Euro einbringt.

Due to the need to increase manufacturing capacities and organize production according to European standards, pâté manufacturing in Izola was moved to new facilities in 2001. Modern equipment and a high level of automation in the new Argeta factory marked a major milestone. The supply system of the factory is based on effectiveness, economy and dependability.

All pâtés available in the European Union and Macedonian markets are made in that factory, as well as fish pâté for those and other markets. The facility also manufactures Argeta Exclusive products.

Modern production, mostly automated, begins with the cooking of poultry meat, livers and fish, depending on the type of pâté that is being manufactured. Argeta contains only meat, not meat leftovers from previous manufacturing processes, unlike most other meat processing factories that mostly produce salamis, luncheon meats, etc. After poultry meat is cooked, it is deboned and ground into a paste. The cooked meat, together with special spices, is put into a special machine - cutter. It mixes and mashes the ingredients into a smooth and homogeneous easy-to-spread pâté.

Die moderne Produktion, bei der ein Großteil der Verfahren automatisiert abläuft, beginnt mit dem Kochen des Fleisches von Geflügel, Leber und Fisch, abhängig davon welcher Brotaufstrich auf dem Programm steht. Argeta enthält pures Fleisch und keine Fleischreste aus vorangegangenen Produktionsprozessen, wie das in den meisten Fleischverarbeitungsanlagen, wo Wurst und Fleischaufschnitte usw. produziert werden, der Fall ist. FILLING CONTAINERS KONSERVENFÜLLUNG The next steps in the process are filling the pâté into containers, sterilization in the autoclave and storing the containers on palettes in a completely automated warehouse.

Argeta spreads are manufactured according to international hygienic standards, respecting the international HACCP system that guarantees the highest level of food production safety. The characteristic quality is confirmed by the ISO 9001 certificate, production integrity and the ISO 14001 environmental certificate. It should also be mentioned that Argeta was also awarded the Halal certificate.

Sweets for Kids Süßigkeiten für die Jüngsten

n December Štark’s Najljepše Željice (Best Wishes) and the preschool kids from the Sunčica Kindergarten in Belgrade prepared a lot of sweet packages for the “Dragutin Filipović” Center for the Protection of Infants, Children and Youths, with the intention of making them happy and showing that they care about their less fortunate peers growing up without parents. The Best Wishes mascot visited children in the center, had fun with them, and reminded them how important it is to use their imagination and wished them all the best in the coming New Year.

Im Dezember hat Najljepše željice von Štark zusammen mit den Kindern aus dem Belgrader Kindergarten „Sunčica“ eine Vielzahl von süßen Paketen für das Dragutin-Filipović-Zentrum für den Schutz von Säuglingen, Kindern und Jugendlichen vorbereitet., um ihnen eine Freude zu machen und zu zeigen, dass sie an ihre gleichaltrigen Freunde ohne elterliche Fürsorge denken. he Snow Queen Trophy is one of the most important sports events in Croatia and this year Melem got involved in this popular event by giving out testers, loud cheering through Melem horns and keeping warm in Melem bobcaps. The whole 70 ski coach team that looked after the course wore the Melem bobcaps and had the Melem logo on their jackets. Considering that Melem is the best skin protection in the cold, thus an unavoidable partner on the ski slopes, this is how it was brought closer to skiing fans.

Campaign for Children’s Laughter in Hospitals Aktion für das Lachen von Kindern im Krankenhaus

n December in drugstores and specialized stores Farmacia employees held a campaign to collect donations for the Red noses Association. The campaign was joined by the smallest Atlantic members, as well as Cedevita and Dietpharm that donated Cedevita Pear Candies and Centravit Lizzy Lollypops for residents that decided to support the campaign with their donations. Over 36,000 HRK was collected during the campaign for clown doctors.

n the spring of 2012 Donat Mg began a directed campaign toward expectant mothers, since it is a natural way to ease constipation, heartburn, bloating, gestational diabetes and other ailments women may get during pregnancy. The substantial potential of this target group was the reason for the basic campaign message, “Take care of your priceless treasure!” aimed at educating female consumers about the beneficial effects of Donat Mg, which alone is enough for their babies. According to research, pregnant women spend some 3 hours daily on the Internet, mostly communicating through normal advertising channels, including Facebook, where each country was given a prepared “wall” meant for chat, advice, ideas, questions and answers from nutritionists, etc. The main message of the campaign was 3-5 dcl of Donat Mg per day helps ease and reduce pregnancy issues. In November in Serbia and Bosnia & Herzegovina there were BTL sampling promotions in student dorms and shopping malls as part of the new flavor launch of Čoko Smoki Raspberry. In Serbia promotions were held in Belgrade, Novi Sad, Niš and Kragujevac, where everybody was enthused about the new flavor. Promotions in Bosnia & Herzegovina were organized in Banja Luka and Sarajevo.
