The 30th issue of Atlantic News is full of big numbers! With our corporate bulletin’s round number, we have entered into its 11th year of publishing, in the exact same year our company is celebrating its 25th anniversary.

On this occasion, we have conducted a celebratory interview with our President and CEO who shared his memories with us from 1991 until today; key events he feels have made their mark on all these years, as well as desires and plans for the future. The Theme of this issue will also provide you with a small retrospective of our News, and how it has changed its shape, themes, and design over the years.

Atlantic Grupa signed amendments with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the International Finance Corporation (IFC, member of the World Bank Group) arranging more favourable financial conditions and prolonged maturity for its existing loans by two years, until 2021. The total value of the agreed package is 191,5 mio EUR, of which 146 mio EUR refers to EBRD's loan with partners including the banking groups Erste Bank, Raiffeisen Bank, Sberbank and Unicredit Bank, whereas IFC participates with 38 mio EUR, and the EBRD parttakes with a parallel bilateral loan of 7.5 mio EUR for the investment in Nova Gradiška.

Die Atlantic Grupa hat mit der Europäischen Bank für Wiederaufbau und Entwicklung (EBWE) und der Internationalen Finanz-Corporation (IFC, Teil der Weltbankgruppe) einen Änderungsvertrag in Bezug auf die Konditionen eines Kredits unterzeichnet, mit dem günstigere finanzielle Bedingungen und eine verlängerte Laufzeit bis zum Jahr 2021 vereinbart wurden.

Die Gesamthöhe des vereinbarten Kredits beträgt 191,5 Millionen Euro, wovon die EBWE mit ihren Partnerbanken Erste Bank, Raiffeisen Bank, Sberbank und der Unicredit Bank mit 146 Millionen Euro vertreten ist, die IFC mit 38 Millionen Euro, während auf den parallelen bilateralen Kredit der EBWE für die Investition in Nova Gradiška 7,5 Millionen entfallen.

I

n the first quarter of 2016, Atlantic Grupa recorded total sales of EUR 154 million, which is the revenue level recorded in the same period 2015. Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) amount to HRK 69.8 million, and are lower by 5.1%, primarily due to the investments related to starting up of own distribution companies in Germany and Austria and unfavourable foreign currency exchange rate movements. Net profit after minority interests amounts to HRK 45.3 million, which is a 1.6% growth compared to the first quarter of 2015. Analysed by individual markets, the highest growth of 8.9% was recorded in the Slovenian market, which accounts for 17% of the total revenues; it is followed by the B&H market which reports a growth of 8.5%.

Die Atlantic Grupa hat im ersten Quartal des Jahres 2016 Absatzeinnahmen in Höhe von 154 Million EUR erzielt, was der Größenordnung der Absatzeinnahmen im selben Zeitraum des Vorjahres entspricht. Der Gewinn vor Zinsen und Steuern (EBIT) ist um 5,1 Prozent gesunken, vor allem aufgrund der Investitionen in Bezug auf den Start des Eigenvertriebs in Deutschland und Österreich sowie der ungünstigen Währungskurse ausländischer Währungen, und beträgt 69,8 Millionen Kuna. Der Nettogewinn steht nach Abzug der Minderheitenanteile bei 45,3 Millionen Kuna und ist im Vergleich zum ersten Quartal 2015 um 1,6 angestiegen. Den Märkten nach betrachtet wurde das größte Wachstum in Höhe von 8,9 Prozent auf dem slowenischen Markt erzielt, der im Gesamtabsatz mit 17 Prozent vertreten ist, gefolgt vom Markt Bosnien und Herzegowinas mit einem Wachstum von 8,5 Prozent.

Once Again Among the Best Employers Erneut unter den besten Arbeitgebern

A

tlantic Grupa is once again proclaimed the best employer in Slovenia in the category of large companies, thus winning the Gold Thread Award, which was received on behalf of the Company by Enzo Smrekar, General Manager for SBU Savoury Spreads.

The Gold Thread is an award organised by the Slovenian business newspaper Dnevnik that is based on the extensive interviewing of employees, discussions with the company’s Management, and evaluation by an expert jury who declared Droga Kolinska as an economically successful company. Atlantic Grupa in B&H was proclaimed among the top 3 most desirable employers in the FMCG category as selected by the web portal Posao.ba and the public in the selection for Most Desirable Employer in B&H. In a study conducted during February, March and April, respondents nominated over 700 companies from B&H that received a total of over 19,400 unique votes.

Die Atlantic Grupa wurde in der Kategorie großer Unternehmen erneut zum besten Arbeitgeber in Slowenien erklärt und gewann somit den Preis des sog. Goldenen Fadens, den im Namen des Konzerns der General Director des SGB Delikatessaufstriche, Enzo Smrekar, entgegennahm.

Es handelt sich dabei um eine Wahl in der Organisation der slowenischen Wirtschaftszeitung „Dnevnik”, die aufgrund umfassender Gespräche mit den Mitarbeitern, Gesprächen mit dem Vorstand und der Bewertung einer Fachjury erfolgt, die Droga Kolinska als wirtschaftlich erfolgreiches Unternehmen charakterisierte.

Die Atlantic Grupa in Bosnien und Herzegowina wurde nach einer Wahl des Beschäftigungsportals „Posao.ba” im Rahmen der Studie zum begehrtesten Arbeitgeber in B&H zu einem der drei begehrtesten Arbeitgeber in der Kategorie der schnelldrehenden Konsumgüter erklärt. In dieser Studie, die im Februar, März und April durchgeführt wurde, nominierten die Befragten über 700 Unternehmen in B&H, die insgesamt über 19.400 Einzelstimmen erhielten.

Dreizehn Projekte, welche die Menschen, die Kultur, unsere Kunden und Verbraucher, Optimieren des Wertesystems, Digitaltechnologie und Analytik ansprechen, werden bis zum Ende 2017 im Fokus von mehr als achtzig Angestellten von Atlantic Grupa sein.

he plan is to make sure that, with this strategic corporate project entitled Fast Forward, Atlantic Grupa, by 2018, develops into a company with a unique culture and into an important player on international markets who is known for putting clients, that is, consumers at the very centre of its attention. How to innovate, how to manage talent within the company, how to expand international markets, understand the consumers' needs and a series of other topics will be the focus of attention of the colleagues who, within the Fast Forward Programme, shall ultimately generate projects with concrete answers and plans.

Das Ziel dieses korporativen strategischen Projektes unter dem Namen Fast forward ist es, Atlantic Grupa zu sichern, bis 2018 zu einem Unternehmen mit einzigartiger Kultur zu werden, welches ein wichtiger Teilnehmer auf den internationalen Märkten ist und als ein Unternehmen erkannt, in dessen Fokus seine Kunden oder Verbraucher stehen. Wie kann man innovativ sein, die Talente im Unternehmen verwalten, sich auf den internationalen Märkten expandieren, die Bedürfnisse der Verbraucher verstehen und eine Vielzahl anderer Themen werden für die Kollegen im Mittelpunkt stehen, die gemeinsam mit dem Fast Forward Programm schließlich die Projekte mit konkreten Antworten und Pläne erzeugen werden.

An Ocean of Opportunities in Employing People with Disabilities Ein Ozean der Möglichkeiten bei der Beschäftigung von Menschen mit Behinderung

E

mploying people with disabilities (ZOSI) is a project that Atlantic Grupa has become involved in as one of the first in their region. This process includes an overview of statuses and the adaptation of job positions for the potential employment of people with disabilities.

The project has so far focused only on the Croatian region and works in two ways: one involves the assessment of work possibilities for current employees at Atlantic who have disabilities, and the other involves the potential employment of such individuals. The Project Manager is our colleague, Damir Živković, in cooperation with the Human Resources Department.

This collaboration also involves the assistance of external partners with whom they carried out an assessment of adaptability via questionnaire forms, and analyses of job positions with various types of work tasks so that the results of the analyses may be applicable to the widest possible job range within Atlantic Grupa. Based on the analyses of job positions, they performed an assessment of options of individual forms of adaptation of job positions in relation to various types of disabilities.

PROJECT LEADERS DAMIR ŽIVKOVIĆ AND ANA MARUŠIĆ PROJEKTLEITER DAMIR ŽIVKOVIĆ UND ANA MARUŠIĆ

ZOSI, die kroatische Abkürzung für Beschäftigung von Menschen mit Behinderung, ist ein Projekt, mit dem sich Atlantic als eines der ersten Unternehmen in seinem Umfeld, dem Prozess angeschlossen hat, der eine Prüfung der Lage und der Anpassung von Arbeitsplätzen an die potentielle Beschäftigung von Menschen mit Behinderungen beinhaltet. Das Projekt konzentriert sich zunächst nur auf Kroatien und umfasst zwei Stränge: einer bezieht sich auf die Prüfung der Möglichkeiten für die Arbeit der momentan bei Atlantic tätigen Menschen mit Behinderung, und der zweite auf die Möglichkeit der Neubeschäftigung solcher Personen.

Leiter des Projekts ist der Kollege Damir Živković, der dabei mit der Personalabteilung zusammenarbeitet. Die Zusammenarbeit umfasst auch die Unterstützung von externen Partnern, mit denen Anpassungsbeurteilungen in Form eines Fragebogens durchgeführt wurden, sowie eine Analyse der Arbeitsplätze mit verschiedenen Arbeitsaufgaben, damit die Ergebnisse später auf eine möglichst große Zahl der Arbeitsplätze innerhalb der Atlantic Grupa anwendbar sind. Aufgrund der Arbeitsplatzanalyse wurden die Möglichkeiten ihrer individuellen Anpassungsmöglichkeit in Bezug auf unterschiedliche Behinderungen beurteilt.

Recognition from the PBF Faculty for Special Contribution Anerkennung der PBF für besonderen Beitrag Atlantic Grupa received recognition from the Faculty of Food Technology and Biotechnology (PBF), University of Zagreb, for special contribution through joint cooperation and development of scientific and scholastic activities of the Faculty. This recognition awarded on the occasion on the 60th anniversary of the Faculty, was received by Secretary General of Atlantic Grupa, Ivan Mišetić, who also expressed his appreciation on behalf of all the other awarded companies and institutions. Atlantic Grupa, particularly its Research and Development Departments, have been collaborating with the Faculty of Food Technology and Biotechnology for many years, and Cedevita was the first to begin collaboration.

Die Atlantic Grupa hat eine Anerkennung der Fakultät für Ernährungswissenschaft und Biotechnologie (PBF) der Universität Zagreb für einen besonderen Beitrag in der Zusammenarbeit und zur Weiterentwicklung der Forschungs- und Lehrtätigkeit der Fakultät erhalten. Die Anerkennung, die anlässlich des 60. Jubiläums der Fakultät verliehen wurde, nahm der Generalsekretär der Atlantic Grupa, Ivan Mišetić, entgegen, der sich gleichzeitig auch im Namen aller anderen geehrten Unternehmen und Institutionen bedankte. Die Atlantic Grupa, bzw. ihre Forschungs- und Entwicklungsabteilungen arbeiten schon seit vielen Jahren mit der Fakultät für Ernährungswissenschaft und Biotechnologie zusammen, und den Anfang zu dieser Zusammenarbeit machte Cedevita.

SAP in Croatia – 40 people and 300 thousand data for better business processes SAP in Kroatien – 40 Menschen und 300 tausend Daten für bessere Arbeitsprozesse SAP, a business application that acts as support for more efficient operations, was officially launched at the beginning of 2016 as planned in Atlantic’s companies in Croatia – Atlantic Trade Zagreb, Atlantic Grupa, and Bionatura Bidon Vode, and the whole project was completed within the given budget. SAP, die Geschäftslösung, die als Unterstützung zu effizienteren Arbeitsprozessen dient, wurde mit Anfang 2016 plangemäß auch in den kroatischen Gesellschaften von Atlantic – Atlantic Trade Zagreb, Atlantic Grupa, und Bionatura Bidon vode – offiziell gestartet und das gesamte Projekt wurde innerhalb des vorgesehenen Finanzrahmens durchgeführt.

he project of implementing the SAP system in SDU Croatia was launched in June 2014, and its most important goal was to standardise and increase the efficiency of internal business processes, reduce complexity in customer and principal relations, and utilise modern, integrated, and efficient IT systems. On behalf of the IT team, the Project Manager was Nataša Gembarovski, IT Project Office Head, while the Business Project Manager was Jacqueline Ivezić, Financial Internal Audit Director, along with the wholehearted support of an 80-membered team who for a year and a half worked on developing and implementing the system.

Das SAP-Umsetzungsprojekt im SVB Kroatien wurde im Juni 2014 gestartet und sein wichtigstes Ziel war die Standardisierung und Effizienzsteigerung der internen Arbeitsprozesse sowie ein einfacherer Umgang mit den Kunden und Prinzipalen mit Hilfe eines modernen, integrierten und effizienten Informationssystems. Die Leiterin des IT Projektbüros, Nataša Gembarovski, war Projektleiterin seitens des IT Teams, während die Business-Projektleiterin Jacqueline Ivezić war, Internal Audit and Control Director, wobei die eifrige Unterstützung des 80-köpfigen Teams genossen, das in den eineinhalb Jahren an der Entwicklung und Umsetzung des Systems arbeitete.

In 2016, awards were bestowed to the best suppliers from Central Purchasing, and so in the category of best Purchasing Clerk special recognition and a symbolic reward went to Klavdija Stupar from Purchasing – Slovenia and B&H. Aleksandar Kojić, Lead Buyer for Cardboard, Paper, and Flexible Packaging and Head of Packaging Purchasing from Purchasing – Serbia and Macedonia received an award for best agent of change. Our colleagues stood out especially with their valuable engagement, work approach, and realisation of set individual and team goals, thereby further raising the bar and setting new standards of excellence for the rest of the employees in Central Purchasing and Atlantic Grupa as a whole.

Auch 2016 wurden Anerkennungen an die besten Einkäufer aus der Zentralen Beschaffung vergeben. So wurde Klavdija Stupar aus der Beschaffungsabteilung für Slowenien und B&H als beste Kaufmännische Angestellte im Einkauf geehrt und erhielt auch einen symbolischen Preis, während Aleksandar Kojić, Lead Buyer für Karton- , Papier- und Flexi-Verpackung und Abteilungsleiter für Verpackungsbeschaffung in der Beschaffungseinheit für Serbien und Mazedonien, zum besten Vertreter für Veränderungen der Zentralen Beschaffung erklärt wurde. Die Kollegen haben sich besonders durch ihr starkes Engagement, ihren Arbeitsansatz und die Verwirklichung der gesetzten Team- und Einzelziele ausgezeichnet, womit sie die Latte noch höher gesetzt und neue Exzellenzstandards für alle anderen Mitarbeiter der Zentralen Beschaffung, aber auch der Atlantic Grupa als Ganzes aufgestellt haben.

Die Zentrale Beschaffung der Atlantic Grupa hat in einer äußerst starken Konkurrenz von 105 Unternehmen aus allen Teilen der Welt Ende 2015 einen Preis für die Beschaffungsorganisation des Jahres erhalten, nämlich den Annual EIPM Peter Kraljič Award for Excellence of Purchasing Organizations. Der Preis wird an Beschaffungsorganisationen vergeben, die beispielhaft sind in Bezug auf die

außerordentlichen Ergebnisse in ihren Unternehmen und ein hohes Niveau an Kreativität und Innovativität, und die auch Sozialverantwortung und Umweltbewusstsein demonstrieren.

Atlantic as the Best Purchasing Organisation Atlantic als beste Beschaffungsorganisation At the end of 2015, Atlantic Grupa’s Central Purchasing Department, amid an exceptionally strong competition of 105 companies from all over the world, received an award for best purchasing organisation of the year: the Annual EIPM Peter Kraljič Award for Excellence of Purchasing Organisations. The award is presented to those purchasing organisations that serve as an example in achieving outstanding results in their companies and demonstrate high levels of creativity and innovation, along with expressing concern for society and the environment.

E-Registry – The End of Paper and Beginning of a Digital Age Die E-Unterlagenstelle – das Ende des Papierzeitalters und der Anfang der digitalen Ära With 2016, Atlantic Grupa introduced the E-Registry – an application that allows access to documents and their processing via an online system, which some companies in Croatia already use for the electronic processing of incoming invoices since the beginning of 2015.

This marks the end of an era of working with paper documents and the beginning of processing of incoming documents via an online application.

E-Unterlagenstelle eingeführt – eine App, die den Zugang zu Dokumenten und deren Online-Bearbeitung ermöglicht, und die einige der Unternehmen in Kroatien seit Anfang 2015 auch schon für die elektronische Bearbeitung von eingehenden Rechnungen nutzen. Die E-Unterlagenstelle kennzeichnet das Ende der Arbeit mit Papierunterlagen und den Beginn der Bearbeitung eingehender Unterlagen mit Hilfe der Online-App.

600 Tons Less CO₂ Every Year Jährlich 600 Tonnen weniger CO₂

A

t the end of last year, the company Sekopak awarded a CO2 Certificate to the companies Grand Prom and Soko Štark for their impact in reducing CO2 emissions into the atmosphere, based on the placement and quantity of recycled packaging waste in 2014. Atlantic Grupa designed special projects to improve energy efficiency for their Serbian companies, with financial support from the EBRD. This was part of a wider strategy to improve all production processes at Atlantic Grupa and support regional activities with more rational use of energy and resources, reduce costs, and protect the environment we live in. Alongside savings related to efficiency, it is expected that the planned investments in operating companies in Serbia will further reduce CO2 emissions by 600 tons a year.

Das Unternehmen Sekopak hat den Unternehmen Grand Prom und Soko Štark Ende letzten Jahres ein CO2-Zertifikat für ihre Leistung in der Senkung ihrer CO2-Emissionen in die Atmosphäre verliehen, und zwar aufgrund der platzierten und wiederverwerteten Mengen an Verpackungsabfall im Jahr 2014. Die Atlantic Grupa hatte spezielle Projekte für eine bessere Energieeffizienz ihrer Gesellschaften in Serbien mit Hilfe finanzieller Mittel der EBWE vorbereitet. Das war Teil einer breiter angelegten Strategie der Verbesserung aller Produktionsprozesse der Atlantic Grupa und der Unterstützung regionaler Aktivitäten zum rationaleren Umgang mit Ressourcen und Energie, zur Kostensenkung, aber auch zum Umweltschutz. Neben den Einsparungen in Bezug auf die Effizienzsteigerung erwartet man auch, dass die geplanten Investitionen in den operativen Gesellschaften Serbiens zusätzlich die CO2-Emissionen auf 600 Tonnen jährlich senken werden.

We asked the founder and CEO several questions regarding the company’s past and its aspirations, from 1991 to the faraway future.

Im Jahr 2016 begeht die Atlantic Grupa ein rundes Konzernjubiläum – 25 Jahre ist es her, dass der Konzern gegründet wurde. Wir haben den Gründer und Vorstandsvorsitzende zu den institutionellen Erinnerungen und Bestrebungen vom fernen 1991 bis in die weite Zukunft mit ein paar Fragen überfallen.

Atlantic is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year; would you say the company is still young, or are we at the peak of our maturity? Atlantic feiert dieses Jahr seinen 25. Geburtstag. Würden Sie sagen, dass der Konzern noch jung ist, oder sind wir auf dem Höhepunkt unserer Reife angekommen?

oder Jungunternehmer. Wir bei Atlantic sind eine großartige Kombination aus unterschiedlichen Erfahrungen, Ansichten, Persönlichkeiten, Dynamiken... Ich finde wir sind ungeachtet unseres Alters immer noch verspielt und leidenschaftlich genug, um uns jung zu nennen. Das ist unser Geist und den sollten wir beibehalten.

We are young, even though we have inherited the tradition of the companies integrated in our system – Cedevita, Neva, Multipower (ex Haleko), Droga Kolinska, Soko Štark, Grand Prom, Fidifarm, BBV (ex Badel 1862), Bamapharm, Dvoržak pharmacies…some of which go back much further than Atlantic Grupa. Let us say that 25 years signifies a youthful maturity. And when referring to people, I am not keen on making a distinction between young and old; it is difficult to define such age limits and what they actually mean. Take me, for example. I have 29 years of professional experience (already), but the media still flatter me by calling me a “young” manager or entrepreneur. We at Atlantic are a great combination of different experiences, views, personalities, dynamics… I think we are, regardless of our age, still enthusiastic and passionate enough to say that we are young. That is our spirit and we need to keep it.

What words would you use to describe Atlantic to someone who has never heard of us, in order to illustrate our corporate culture to them? Wie würden Sie Atlantic jemandem kurz beschreiben, der noch nie von uns gehört hat, und dem Sie unsere Konzernkultur näherbringen möchten?

Wir sind jung, obwohl wir Erben der Tradition der Gesellschaften sind, die wir in unser System integriert haben – Cedevita, Neva, Multipower (Ex-Haleko), Droga Kolinska, Soko Štark, Grand prom, Fidifarm, BBV (Ex-Badel 1862), Bamapharm, der Dvoržak-Apotheken und weitere, einige von ihnen sind um Vieles älter als die Atlantic Grupa. Sagen wir es mal so: 25 Jahre sind ein alter jugendlicher Reife. Auch wenn es um Menschen geht, neige ich nicht dazu, sie in Alt und Jung aufzuteilen, denn es ist schwierig solche Altersgrenzen zu ziehen, und was bedeuten sie überhaupt?

Ich habe beispielsweise (schon) 29 Jahre Berufserfahrung, doch die Medien betiteln mich noch immer als jungen Manager

What three distribution products and three of our own products should every Atlantic employee have in their home?

Huh! That’s a tough one, and actually quite specific, more so because we distribute a different assortment of products to different markets. Granny’s Secret Ayvar, Donat Mg, Argeta Tuna… We have many principal brands at home, but the indispensable ones are Nutella, Orbit, and Johnson’s Baby.

Ups! Das ist schwierig und eigentlich sehr persönlich, umso mehr deshalb, weil wir auf unterschiedlichen Märkten unterschiedliche Sortimente vertreiben.

Der Ajvar von Granny's Secret, Donat Mg, Argeta Thunfisch ... Wir haben zu Hause viele Produktmarken unserer Prinzipale, aber unumgänglich sind Nutella, Orbit und Johnson's Baby.

The first five colleagues you started out with in 1991 are … Mit welchen fünf Kollegen haben Sie 1991 angefangen?

Of the ones who are still at or close to Atlantic Grupa today are Paula Šemeš and Davor Užbinec (both employees of BC Cedevita), and Mijo Pašalić. Many will remember Vedran Pecotić who recently retired, but who joined us in 1992, around the same time as Slavica Ćirković.

I am still in contact with some of the ones who started with us, such as Tonči Despot, as well as Zdravko Mindoljević who is enjoying his retirement for many years now. Then again, I’ve lost contact with others over time. But anyone who left their honest and professional imprint in Atlantic’s development is a friend to me and ambassador of our company.

Von denen, die noch heute bei Atlantic oder in der Nähe sind, sind das Paula Šemeš und Davor Užbinec (beide Mitarbeiter des KK Cedevita) sowie Mijo Pašalić. Viele werden sich an Vedran Pecotić erinnern, der uns seit kurzem als Rentner begleitet und 1992 zu uns kam, etwa um dieselbe Zeit wie Slavica Ćirković. Mit einigen, die mit uns den Anfang gestaltet haben, wie Tonči Despot, habe ich Kontakt, Zdravko Mindoljević ist schon seit geraumer Zeit in Rente, und zu einigen habe ich den Kontakt mit der Zeit verloren. Doch jeder, der etwas Aufrichtiges und Professionelles zur Entwicklung von Atlantic beigetragen hat, ist für mich ein Freund und Botschafter unseres Konzerns.

What are five memorable events you would single out in these 25 years?

Fünf eindrucksvolle Ereignisse aus den letzten 25 Jahren, die Sie hervorheben würden?

1. The beginning of distribution cooperation with Wrigley, risk of contract loss in the summer of 1992 and entry of another distributor in the race, and then the full return of the contract in 1996. This was a fundamental contract for Atlantic’s development as a distributor.

1. Die Anfänge der Vertriebszusammenarbeit mit Wrigley, das Vertragsverslustrisiko und die Konkurrenz eines zweiten Vertreibers im Sommer 1992, und die Rückgewinnung des gesamten Vertrages 1996.

Es handelt sich dabei um den Vertrag, der die Grundlage für die Entwicklung von Atlantic als Vertriebsunternehmen bildete.

2. Mars’ dramatic termination of distribution contract on Christmas Eve 2000, followed by the acquisition of Ferrero, and beginning of distribution on July 1, 2001.

3. The acquisition of Cedevita is most often mentioned as a turning point in our 25-year history, as a step towards our own brands.

4. Entering the West, the purchase of Multipower in 2005, and new worlds…

5. Droga Kolinska, as a transaction, and a master’s degree. In fact, the Harvard Business School thoroughly processed this transaction as a case study.

There were many moments, decisions, and people, but what I carry most with me are emotions, one great love, affection, an enormous positive charge, happiness… Speaking of happiness, how can I not mention the legendary ABC Conference on the Brijuni Islands and various business and sports gatherings.

2. Die dramatische Kündigung des Vertriebsvertrages von Mars an Heiligabend 2000, und die darauffolgende Eroberung von Ferrero mit Vertriebsbeginn zum 1.7. 2001.

3. Die Akquisition von Cedevita wird oft als Wendepunkt in unserer 25-jährigen Geschichte bezeichnet – als der Schritt in Richtung eigener Produktmarken.

4. Der Schritt nach Westen, der Kauf von Multipower im Jahr 2005.

Neue Welten...

5. Droga Kolinska als Transaktion und als Masterstudienkurs. Diese Transaktion wurde nämlich von der Harvard Business School gründlich als Fallstudie bearbeitet.

Es gibt viele Momente, Entscheidungen, Menschen, aber was ich bei mir überwiegt, ist die Emotion, eine große Liebe, Zuneigung, eine Menge positiver Antriebskraft, Freude... Und wo wir gerade bei der Freude sind, kann man die legendären ABC-Konferenzen auf den Brijuni-Inseln und verschiedene Arbeits und Sportstreffen.

Topic / Them a What would you wish for Atlantic’s 30th birthday? Was wünschen Sie Atlantic zum 30. Geburtstag?

In 5 years, Atlantic will be a larger, stronger, and more widespread company, but what is most important is that we will be more receptive and stimulated for innovation, initiative and entrepreneurship within the system, than we are today. By investing in knowledge and advanced technology, we will be able to rightly speak of a small European giant in production and distribution, but above all, of the ocean of opportunities that will become renowned in various geographical regions. And it will be precisely our people – those who are with us and those we will draw to us – that will be the force that makes this voyage safe, fearless, and appealing.

Atlantic wird in fünf Jahren ein größerer, stärkerer und weiter verbreiteter Konzern sein, aber was wichtiger ist, ist dass wir sensibler und anregender sein werden für Innovation, Initiative und Unternehmerlust innerhalb des Systems, als das heute der Fall ist. Durch Investitionen in Wissen und fortschrittliche Technologien werden wir mit recht über einen kleinen europäischen Riesen im Vertrieb und der Produktion sprechen, und vor allem von einem Ozean an Möglichkeiten, der in unterschiedlichen geografischen Lagen Erkennungswert haben wird.

Und gerade unsere Leute, die die jetzt bei uns sind, und die die wir noch anziehen werden, werden die Antriebskraft sein, die diese Schifffahrt sicher, unerschrocken und interessant machen wird.

To pic / T h ema Which market would you most like to “conquer”? Welchen Markt würden Sie mit Atlantic am liebsten „erobern”?

There are no better or worse markets, and a Euro earned in Austria, Bulgaria, Iran, Great Britain, or America holds the same weight for me. I would actually place the highlight on the product.

Ever since I came into contact with Granny’s Secret, ayvar has been my mantra and I truly believe in it. It is authentic, healthy, delicious, different, and originated in the region that Atlantic Grupa also comes from. It truly has global potential. I would like us to be recognised in the world by something we create. Granny’s Secret ayvar is a product that has everything needed for world-renowned success.

Es gibt keine besseren und schlechteren Märkte. Ein Euro, der in Österreich, Bulgarien, im Iran, Großbritannien oder Amerika verdient wurde, hat für mich den gleichen Wert. Ich würde eher ein Produkt herausstellen. Seit ich mit Granny's Secret in Berührung kam, ist das Wort „Ajvar” mein Mantra, ich glaube fest daran.

Es ist ein authentisches, gesundes, leckeres und anderes Produkt, das in einer Region entstanden ist, in der auch die Atlantic Grupa heranwuchs – es hat wahrhaftig Weltpotential. Der Ajvar von Granny's Secret hat alles, was ein Produkt für weltweiten Erfolg braucht.

What brand would you like to see in our portfolio one day? Welche Produktmarke würden Sie eines Tages gern in unsrem Portfolio sehen?

Something from the organic products segment. I expect more synergy in the domain of children’s food and the ARTD concept (Cedevita GO cap mechanism) as well.

If you weren’t President and CEO for a month, what department would you work in? Wenn Sie einen Monat lang nicht Vorstandsvorsitzender wären, in welcher Abteilung würden Sie arbeiten?

In Sales. I would sell products, distribution services, opportunities for investors. If you believe in what you do, and have a desire to be in contact with people, then you have a very good predisposition for working in sales.

Im Verkauf. Ich würde Produkte, Vertriebsleistungen und Investitionsmöglichkeiten verkaufen. Wenn man an das, was man tut, glaubt, und kontaktfreudig ist, hat man schon gute Voraussetzungen für den Verkauf.

How many telephone numbers do you know off by heart? Wie viele Telefonnummern kennen Sie auswendig?

Twenty, actively. But I also remember some fixed phone numbers from my youth, and numbers of some people who are no longer with us.

Aktiv etwa zwanzig. Aber ich erinnere mich auch noch an Festnetznummern aus meiner Jugend, und einige Nummern von Menschen, die nicht mehr unter uns weilen.

What are you not that good at, but wish you were? Worin sind Sie nicht so gut, wäre es aber gerne?

Time management and processes are not my strongest traits. Keeping my attention on the topic for an extended period of time. Impatience… Sometimes even controlling my temper, although I have improved here, but it is a part of my personality now as much as it was before, so I sometimes deliberately accentuate my reaction when I want to emphasise something that is of importance to me. I wouldn’t want others to see this as any kind of cruel intention, nor do I wish to hurt anyone, it’s just that sometimes we need to wake up, shake up, and change perspective…

Zeitmanagement und Prozesse gehören nicht zu meinen Stärken. Lange Aufmerksamkeit auf einem Thema.

Ungeduld... Manchmal auch die Kontrolle über mein Temperament, obwohl ich da Fortschritte gemacht habe, und außerdem ist es ein Teil meiner Persönlichkeit. Genauso wie die Eigenschaft mit Absicht eine Reaktion hervorzurufen, wenn ich zu verstehen geben will, dass mir etwas wichtig ist. Ich möchte nicht, dass die Menschen darin eine böse Absicht sehen, ich will niemanden verletzen, doch manchmal müssen wir wachgerüttelt werden, uns am Riemen reißen, unsere Perspektive verändern....

At the office what gets on my nerves most is…

Was mich im Büro am meisten nervt...

Bureaucracy. Reports that serve a purpose only in themselves. Avoiding and not taking responsibility.

Bürokratie. Berichte, die ihr eigener Zweck sind. Das Vermeiden oder Nichtübernehmen von Verantwortung.

hen it comes to helping, for us at Atlantic only the sky is the limit. Value Day, as we call it, is a joint action that has been taking place in our company since 2012, and every year gathers Atlantic employees through activities that express our values. This year, 1300 colleagues took the opportunity to help their local communities and one another. In Hamburg, we fixed up a children’s animal farm; in Vienna we cooked for the homeless, and socialised with teenagers in the “Learn After School” program. Colleagues in Frankfurt also supported the education of young people by renewing the premises of a local school. In Russia, we visited an orphanage, in Macedonia, special needs children, and in Slovenia, our Italian colleagues joined us to clean the environment together. A whole range of larger and smaller actions took place in Croatian and Serbian cities, which we recommend you see in the photo galleries on Intranet.

Wenn es um die Hilfeleistung geht, kennt Atlantic keine Grenzen. Value Day ist eine gemeinsame Aktion, die im Unternehmen seit 2012 praktiziert wird. Bei dieser Gelegenheit werden die Atlantic Angestellten durch die Aktivitäten zusammengeführt, welche unsere Werte verkörpern. In diesem Jahr haben 1.300 Kollegen die Möglichkeit ausgenutzt, ihre lokalen Gemeinden und sich gegenseitig zu unterstützen. In Hamburg, wurde ein Kinder-Bauernhof errichtet, in Wien hat man für die Obdachlosen gekocht und sich gemeinsam mit den Teenies am Programm „Lernen nach der Schule” beteiligt. Die Ausbildung von Jugendlichen haben auch die Kollegen in Frankfurt unterstützt, sowie die Räumlichkeiten der örtlichen Schule hergerichtet. In Russland hat man die Kinder ohne Eltern und in Mazedonien die Kinder mit besonderen Bedürfnissen besucht, während die Kollegen aus Slowenien gemeinsam mit den Kollegen aus Italien sich gemeinsam am Herrichten der Umgebung beteiligt haben. In den kroatischen und serbischen Städten haben diverse größere und kleinere Aktionen stattgefunden, welche Sie sich in der Fotogalaerie im Intranet anschauen können.

Successful Second Generation of Adventurists Zweite AdventureGeneration erfolgreich auf die Beine gekommen After ten months of intensive work and development on the Adventure projects, our second generation successfully completed its business adventure with final presentations before the Management Board and Strategic Management Council (SMC) in Zagreb early this April. Nach zehn Monaten intensiver Arbeit und Entwicklung durch die Adventure-Projekte, hat die zweite Generation ihr berufliches Abenteuer mit den Abschlusspräsentationen vor dem Vorstand und Strategischen Geschäftsrat (SGR) Anfang April in Zagreb erfolgreich hinter sich gebracht.

n its second edition, Atlantic’s development program for young professionals brought together 5 international teams who through assigned tasks explored various business opportunities for Atlantic Grupa.

In order to be able to successfully develop their business ideas, the Adventurists correspondingly adopted new knowledge and skills in trainings at the Cotrugli Business School, and along with mentors from SMC, our colleagues received the support of an outside business coach who helped them in their personal and professional development. The Adventure project thus successfully yielded yet another generation of young professionals who are now ready to dive into serious business adventures.

In seiner zweiten Ausgabe versammelte das Entwicklungsprogramm für junge Mitarbeiter 5 internationale Teams, die durch vorgegebene Projekte verschiedene Geschäftschancen für die Atlantic Grupa untersuchten. Um ihre Geschäftsideen erfolgreich umsetzen zu können, erwarben die Adventure-Teilnehmer parallel dazu auf Schulungen der Cotrugli Business-School neue Kenntnisse und Fertigkeiten, und außer ihren Mentoren aus den SGRs bekamen die Kollegen auch die Unterstützung eines externen Ausbilders in Bezug auf ihre persönliche und berufliche Entwicklung. Das Adventure-Programm hat somit erfolgreich einer zweiten Generation junger Mitarbeiter auf die Beine geholfen, die nun bereit sind, sich auf ernsthafte geschäftliche Abenteuer einzulassen.

A Reflection of Atlantic Writes a New Atlantic Story Das Abbild von Atlantic schreibt eine neue Geschichte Every company is a reflection of its employees and their individual stories. To remind us at Atlantic of this important fact, a comprehensive program was carried out late last year called “Be a Reflection of Atlantic” – an opportunity to share your story. Jeder Konzern ist das Abbild seiner Mitarbeiter und deren einzelner Geschichten. Um uns bei Atlantic an diese wesentliche Tatsache zu erinnern, wurde Ende letzten Jahres ein umfassendes Programm unter dem Titel „Das Abbild von Atlantic – die Gelegenheit, Ihre Geschichte zu teilen!” durchgeführt.

T

he project was initiated with the aim of collecting photographs and stories of our employees to be used in employment ads, and has grown into a large gathering of over 50 colleagues from B&H, Croatia, Macedonia, Slovenia, and Serbia who applied for the challenge.

During a three-day photo session in Zagreb, the group had fun both on the set and while touring the city with the best European Advent festivity. Local participants, who are already familiar with the magic of Advent in Zagreb, enjoyed a weekend touring through Slovenia together. Through socialising with colleagues, Be a Reflection of Atlantic thus wrote a new collective story of Atlantic employees, while participants’ individual stories will reflect the company on the outside, through communication on LinkedIn and new employment ads.

Das Projekt wurde mit dem Ziel gestartet, Fotos und die Geschichten unserer Mitarbeiter für künftige Stellenanazeigen zu sammeln und verwandelte sich in eine geselliges Beisammensein von über 50 Kollegen aus B&H, Kroatien, Mazedonien, Slowenien und Serbien, die sich für die Aktion beworben hatten.

Während der dreitägigen Fotosession in Zagreb hatte die Gruppe am Set genauso viel Spaß wie bei der Erkundung der Stadt und des besten Advents Europas. Die örtlichen Teilnehmer, denen die Reize des Zagreber Advents schon wohl bekannt sind, genossen zu Anfang des Frühlings ein gemeinsames Erkundungswochenende in Slowenien. So schrieb „das Abbild von Atlantic” mit der Zusammenkunft der Kollegen eine neue gemeinsame Geschichte der Atlantic-Mitarbeiter, während die Einzelgeschichten der Teilnehmer den Konzern nach außen hin darstellen werden, und zwar durch die Kommunikation auf LinkedIn und im Rahmen der neue Stellenanzeigen.

Employee Engagement Above the European Average Mitarbeiterengagement über dem europäischen Durchschnitt At the end of 2015, for the fourth time in a row, the employee engagement survey was carried out among Atlantic employees in all of the company’s markets, with a total of 83% employee participation. Ende 2015 wurde zu vierten Mal in Folge das Engagement der Atlantic-Mitarbeiter gemessen, und zwar auf allen Märkten des Konzerns, wobei 83% der Mitarbeiter teilnahmen.

he employee engagement survey gives employees the opportunity to express their opinions on what motivates them, makes them happy, or what they are dissatisfied with, and it has yielded very good results. Atlantic began measuring employee engagement in 2012 using the Gallup Methodology that determines a so-called engagement ratio. In 2015, this ratio increased from 3.18:1 to 3.47:1, meaning that for one unengaged employee there were 3.47 engaged ones.

In order to better measure and monitor employee engagement in relation to European standards and the industry Atlantic Grupa is in, as of last year, we have been using the Aon Hewitt methodology, whereby Atlantic Grupa has a total of 70 percent engaged employees and is thus among the most highly engaged companies in Europe. The areas in which employees are most satisfied with are diversity and work involvement, the organisation in general, and cooperation. They see room for improvement in reward programs and career opportunities.

Internal Trainers Improve Operations in Serbia Interne Ausbilder fördern das Geschäft in Serbien

Double-Digit Work Anniversary Celebrations Runde Arbeitsjubiläumsfeier

The Atlantic Trainers Community Program provides Atlantic employees with the opportunity to share their specific knowledge and skills with their colleagues. An excellent example how this type of reciprocal employee training can improve the company’s operations comes to us from Serbia. Colleagues Omerka Živković and Marijana Janković from SBU Snacks held trainings for four months for 450 of their colleagues in Production. The trainings were a basic requirement in preparation for the FSSC 22000 certification for production lines.

Thanks to the internal trainers’ willingness to share their experience with their colleagues, the company successfully completed this process and improved facilities in Serbia.

At the end of last year, some 40 colleagues in Slovenia concluded the year in celebration of their 10th, 20th, 30th, and 40th anniversaries of working at Atlantic Grupa. In the atrium of Atlantic’s business building in Ljubljana, the celebrants were welcomed by the Human Resources Director for Slovenia, B&H and Russia, Nataša Bazjak Cristini, and Executive Director of DU Slovenia, Bogdan Slovnik, who thanked the colleagues for many years of dedicated work and support.

After the reception, the colleagues continued their celebration in a boat ride through the centre of Ljubljana.

Das Atlantic-Trainers-Community-Programm bietet den Mitarbeitern von Atlantic die Möglichkeit, ihre spezifischen Kenntnisse mit anderen Kollegen zu teilen. Ein ausgezeichnetes Beispiel dafür, wie diese Art der gegenseitigen Weiterbildung unter den Mitarbeitern das Geschäft fördern kann, kommt aus Serbien. Dort haben die Kolleginnen Omerka Živković und Marijana Janković aus dem SGB Süßes und Salziges vier Monate lang Schulungen für 450 ihrer Kollegen in der Produktion abgehalten. Die Schulungen waren eine Grundvoraussetzung für die Vorbereitung der FSSC-22000-Zertifizierung der Produktionslinien. Dank des Bedürfnisses der internen Ausbilderinnen, ihre Erfahrungen mit dem Kollegen zu teilen, hat das Unternehmen diesen Prozess erfolgreich durchlaufen und so die Produktionsanlagen in Serbien auf den neuesten Stand gebracht.

Mit der Schulung rege ich die Mitarbeiter dazu an, auf innovative und proaktive Weise an ihre Arbeit heranzugehen. Es ist ein schönes Gefühl, den Kollegen zu helfen, und noch schöner ist es, wenn sie den Erfolg erzielen, auf den man sie vorbereitet.

Ende letzten Jahres schlossen etwa 40 Kollegen das Jahr mit der gemeinsamen Feier ihrer runden Arbeitsjubiläen bei Atlantic (10, 20, 30 und 40 Jahre) ab. Im Atrium des Atlantic-Geschäftsgebäudes in Ljubljana wurden die Jubilare von Nataša Bazjak Cristini, Human Resources Director für Slowenien, Bosnien und Herzegowina und Russland, und Bogdan Slovnik, Executive Director des VB Slowenien, begrüßt, die sich bei den Kollegen für ihre langjährige und engagierte Arbeit und Mitarbeit bedankten. Nach dem Empfang setzten die Kollegen ihr Beisammensein mit einer Bootsfahrt durchs Zentrum von Ljubljana fort.

The Slovenian annual “Human Resources Management” conference, held for the 13th time, also carried out the selection of best practices within human resources management. A threemember expert jury assessed a total of 14 submitted projects, where Atlantic Body and Mind won an excellent second place. The vision of the project is to develop a good feeling – both physically and mentally – among employees who participate in the program’s activities, and as a result of increased physical activity, achieve better mental repose, and create an awareness that the company cares for them.

Im Rahmen der alljährlichen slowenischen „Human Resources Management-Konferenz” wurde zum 13. Mal die Wahl der bewährtesten Praktiken aus der Domäne des Personalmanagements abgehalten, bei der eine dreiköpfige Jury die 14 gemeldete Projekte beurteilte, unter denen es das Bodyand-Mind-Programm von Atlantic auf den hohen zweiten Platz schaffte. Die Vision des Projekts ist es, unter den Mitarbeitern durch die Teilnahme an den Aktivitäten des Programms ein gutes Gefühl hervorzurufen – sowohl körperlich als auch psychisch – und zwar als Folge einer erhöhten körperlichen Betätigung, besserer geistiger Entspannung und der Bewusstseinsbildung darüber, dass dem Konzern an ihnen gelegen ist.

Get to Know the Atlantic Brands Sales Team in Austria Lernen Sie das Verkaufsteam von Atlantic Brands Österreich kennen Vienna’s sales team is fully active as of January 1, and a new sales office opens its doors. Das neue Verkaufsteam in Wien ist seit 1. Januar voll aktiv, und auch das neue Verkaufsbüro hat seine Pforten geöffnet.

ew facilities were put into operation in record time thanks to the extra engagement of colleagues in Austria, while sales and other business processes in Vienna have been operating smoothly since the beginning of the year. Vienna currently has 15 employees of which some are new colleagues, while the rest come with significant experience acquired at Multipower or other units within the company. Our massmarket team is entirely focused on the distribution of so-called crescendo brands (Granny’s Secret, Bebi, Cedevita, Donat Mg, Multipower, Argeta), and in the first quarter have already led numerous negotiations with customers, and successfully concluded many of them. Granny’s Secret is thus now available on the shelves of luxury supermarkets such as Meinl am Graben and Merkur Hoher Markt, while the distribution of Argeta – the leading brand in the spreads segment, has successfully entered the market and the first activations are already taking place. Cedevita is also included on the list and is activated in many supermarkets and gas stations. The team in the special channel has also successfully begun its work so that the goals for Multipower and other beverages have been significantly surpassed.

Die neuen Räumlichkeiten wurden in Rekordzeit in Betrieb genommen, und zwar dank des zusätzlichen Engagements der Kollegen in Österreich, so dass die Verkaufs- und alle anderen Prozesse in Österreich seit Anfang des Jahres ordentlich funktionieren.

Momentan zählt Wien 15 Mitarbeiter, die zum einen Teil neu sind, während die restlichen schon beträchtliche Erfahrung aus Multipower oder anderen Geschäftsbereichen des Konzerns mit sich bringen. Das Mass-Market Team ist voll auf den Vertrieb der Crescendo-Brands konzentriert (Granny's Secret, Bebi, Cedevita, Donat Mg, Multipower, Argeta) und schon im ersten Quartal wurden viele Gespräche mit Kunden geführt und bereits viele Erfolge gelandet. Granny‘s Secret findet sich bereits im Regal von Premium Outlets mit Meinl am Graben und Merkur Hoher Markt und für Argeta, den Marktführer im Brotaufstrich-Segment, wurde der Vertrieb erfolgreich übernommen und die ersten Aktivierungen im Markt bereits umgesetzt. Auch Cedevita ist schon in vielen Supermärkten oder Tankstellen gelistet und aktiviert. Im Special Channel konnte das Team ebenso sehr erfolgreich starten und sowohl mit Multipower als auch weiteren Getränken wurden die Ziele deutlich übertroffen.

In addition to the construction of the new space, the complete renovation of existing office floors are an added bonus to all employees at the site whose time spent at their workplace has now been made more comfortable.

Die Bauarbeiten und Ausstattung des Dachgeschosses begannen im September 2015 und wurden schon im Dezember abgeschlossen, womit neue Büroräume auf zwei Etagen entstanden. Auch die Bewegung und Kommunikation innerhalb des Gebäudes wurde mit der Montage zweier Aufzüge erheblich erleichtert. Neben der Einrichtung der neuen Räume ist die Renovierung der bereits bestehenden Geschäftsetagen ein zusätzlicher Bonus für alle dortigen Mitarbeiter, deren Aufenthalt am Arbeitsplatz jetzt noch angenehmer ist.

With the end of April, Grand Kafa organised a study tour for media representatives to Bijeljina and Belgrade to familiarise themselves first-hand with the production of the leading coffee in the region. Along with tasting, the media representatives were able to assure themselves that apart from the product’s quality, the factories on both markets share examples of best practice.

In February, Ivana Timotijević and Andrea Parun from Central Marketing organised the visit of media agencies to Neva in Rakitje. Production Director Mladen Ivković, together with his colleagues, led the media reps through the plant, answering all questions tied to processes, production, and quality of Neva’s brands. This will certainly assist the media agencies in placing quality information and creating optimal media strategies for Neva’s brands in the region.

Bojan Dajč will assume the position of Key Accounts Director, while Zrinka Lukač, former Director of DC Zagreb and Varaždin, will take over his former position as Distribution Network Director. In their work they will report directly to the Strategic Distribution Unit General Manager for Croatia, slaven romac. Diese organisatorische Veränderung ermöglicht eine gezieltere und effizientere Verwaltung der bestehenden Anlagegüter und zukünftiger strategischer Investitionen in diesem Segment. Inspired by the research team of the popular Discovery show, MythBusters, the lab team at Cedevita plunged into the task of challenging urban legends using scientific methods and experiments. With their test tubes, pipettes, and analysers, the lab in Planinska Street tested an abundance of different popular drinks and juices available on the market, in a determined search for sugars of all types and forms. And naturally, Cedevita proved once again that it contains the least amount of sugar!

März wurde in den Geschäften der Handelsketten Roda und Mercator ein Grand-Kafa-Monat organisiert, in dessen Rahmen die Verbraucher Gelegenheit hatten, sich unterhalten zu lassen, zu entspannen und den erstklassigen Duft und Geschmack ihres Lieblingskaffees zu genießen. Argeta’s Marketing Department and the Luna TBWA agency have created a new communication platform titled How do you like it best? This new communication platform marks the stepping out of a current advertising framework into a new direction based on dialogue with consumers. With the introduction of functional advantages such as quality, excellent taste and spreadability, which customers are already well familiar with, Argeta will present itself in an entirely new, more emotional way, as a part of everyday life and the good times we have with family and friends.

Argeta’s new campaign began with the selection of a new local flavour. Four countries will be receiving their very own special local flavours: Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, and B&H. To prepare for the campaign, the Argeta team set off on a journey through all 4 countries. They explored their geographic, culinary, and cultural traits, which they then presented on their website where consumers could vote for the most attractive proposals. In the end, Slovenian consumers chose tuna pâté with olives and olive oil, Croatian consumers chose chicken and kulen sausage pâté, Serbian consumers chose also kulen sausage pâté, and B&H chose Argeta with smoked meat.

Diese neue Plattform kennzeichnet den Austritt aus dem bisherigen Rahmen für Werbeaktivitäten und den Einschlag in eine neue Richtung, der auf der Kommunikation mit den Verbrauchern gründet. Neben der Präsentation ihrer funktionellen Vorteile, wie Qualität, ausgezeichneter Geschmack und Streichbarkeit, die den Verbrauchern schon wohl bekannt sind, zeigt sich Argeta nun auch von einer völlig neuen, emotionalen Seite, als wesentlicher Bestandteil des Alltags und schöner Momente, die wir im Kreise der Familie oder mit Freunden erleben.

Die neue Kampagne für Argeta wurde mit der Wahl einer neuen lokalen Geschmacksrichtung eröffnet. Vier Länder – Slowenien, Kroatien, Serbien und B&H – bekommen so im Herbst jeweils ihre lokale Geschmacksrichtung. Für die Vorbereitung der Kampagne haben sich die Mitarbeiter von Argeta auf eine Rundreise durch diese vier Länder gemacht. Sie haben ihre geografischen, kulinarischen und kulturellen Besonderheiten erkundet, die dann auf der Internetseite vorgestellt wurden und die Verbraucher konnten für die verführerischsten Geschmacksvorschläge stimmen. Am Ende entschieden sich die slowenischen Verbraucher für die küstenbezogene Variante (Thunfisch mit Oliven und Olivenöl), die Kroatien für die slawonische (Hühnchen mit der slawonischen Paprikasalami namens Kulen), die Serben für die Geschmacksrichtung aus der Region Vojvodina (ebenfalls mit Kulen) und in Bosnien und Herzegowina fiel die Wahl auf Argeta mit Rauchfleisch.

GRAND AROMA Grand Kafa and its brand Grand Aroma was the first company to rent the Kombank Arena and treat their customers to a concert by one of the most popular Serbian singers, Vlado Georgiev. Grand Aroma designed a unique loyalty program for its faithful customers, who had to collect barcodes from 1.5 kg packs of Grand Aroma coffee, stick them onto a leaflet, and then pick up their concert tickets set for April 23. Promotion of the loyalty program included socialising with Georgiev and his fans at the ticket sale point. Also, Grand Aroma visited many Belgrade cafés where guests could test their knowledge of the singer and his career, and thus earn the first barcode for their leaflet.

In order to further attract the target group and fans, Grand organised a Dubsmash Instagram contest where prizes went to the most interesting Dubsmash videos.
