The selected site is in the southern part of the Koliwada, which is reserved by VVMC for the public activity such as Tourism in the green patch, Community spaces in red patch and transportation activity in the grey patch. The current situation the site is such that, the existing bus depo is not in well to do condition, the site reserved for community activities is being encroached by the community for drying fish by construction plain cement concrete beds and a dry fish market. The starting point of tourism activity reserved areas it also not utilised for the same but for drying fish.
