TO CIRCLE G RANCHES welcome
On behalf of the entire Gresham family and Circle G crew we would like to welcome you to this year‘s annual bull sale.
We are super excited to offer you this powerful high-quality set up Angus bulls. There are many full and half brothers to choose from this year. Additionally, they have all passed a breeding soundness exam to ensure our customers are getting a quality investment.
Buying a Circle G bull is more than buying a bull, it’s investing in a program. We look forward to seeing you November 14, at 1PM EDT.

LOT 1 | CIRCLE G BREAKTHROUGH 3065

• Lot 1 is out of the exciting foundation donor, EPF Rita 2663, a female that is built upon predictable performance genetics and true to the Circle G history, producing outstanding phenotype. The “3065” bull is the best made, most complete Breakthrough son that you will have an opportunity to view. This bull has “the look”, connecting perfectly from his shoulder into his back and is dead level as he transitions from his loin into a long, square hip. The depth and bold build of his rib shape, from his shoulder into his flank, is impressive when you study him from all the angles. The challenge he presents is to find a hole. He is COMPLETE
• Study the calving ease profile with double digit CED and -.4 BW combined with top 2% WW and top 1% YW. Heat will not challenge him with a HS EPD of .15, top 5%. Look over the impressive carcass traits and $Value indexes; CW @ 96, MARB @ 1.52, RE @ 1.30, $M @ 71, $W @ 96, $F @ 140, $G @100, $B @ 240 and $C @ 382 and don’t overlook his Tenderness score of 38.
This is a BIG-TIME herd sire that will be a sale day favorite.
• Here is the flushmate to Lot 1. What a pair of Breakthrough sons being offered! Study the length of spine and big foot connected to a sound structural build. “3061” follows his brother as a true calving ease sire with breed leading growth. Look at the CED @ 12 and BW @ .1 with an attractive spread to top 10% WW and top 5% YW.
• The consistency of this mating is demonstrated across the EPD profile. Once again, we have an impressive carcass EPD profile with CW @ 76, MARB @ 1.57, RE @ 1.26 with an advantage in $M. Make sure you don’t overlook the breed leading $Value indexes ending with $B @ 228 and $C @ 379 both in the top 1%.

• Cowmen, make sure you observe this true calving ease sire in Lot 3. You have to love his CED @ 16, BW @ -.9 and yet, he still maintains attractive growth figures in the top 20%. When you move down the columns looking for carcass traits, “2212” is impressive with MARB @ 1.63, RE @ 1.39, $B @ 227 and $C @ 362.
• This son of the powerful donor, HR Rita 9584, has the foundation to change a calf crop both genetically and phenotypically.

• You will not have to search hard to find this bull. He jumps right out in any contemporary group he is in. Yes, he is that fun to look at. Study his dam, Blackcap 4H64, and she is as powerful and attractive as any cow, in any breed, that you will find.
• Study the numbers... top 10% WW and YW, with top 15% HS & CW, and then top another 10% MARB. He shows that big powerful back with a RE EPD of 1.44, which places him in the top 1%. Don’t overlook the big $M score of 88 with $B @ 208 and $C @ 358. Here is a bull that will make you proud to own every day.

• This is the way to mate Breakthrough. Blend his smooth shoulder and look, with a big, soft bodied, wide made, Power Play female.
• Top 4% for WW @ 90 and YW @ 158, combined with top 10% CW, top 1% RE @ 1.39 and look at all the yellow highlighted $Value indexes.
This is an excellent bull to use on cows.

Flush mate to Lots 7, 8 and 9.

Flush mate to Lots 6, 8 and 9.
• Now this is a nice combination. A true calving ease profile with CED @ 13, BW @-.6, without sacrificing MARB @ 1.73 with $B @ 213 and $C @ 347.

Flush mate to Lots 6, 7 and 9.
• This is the moderate birth version of the flush brothers. Take special note of these figures... MARB @ 1.38, RE @ 1.08, $M @ 80, $B @ 208, $C @ 350.

Flush mate to Lots 6, 7 and 8.
• WOW. Do you need a heifer bull that doesn’t give up any valuable traits? Look at these figures. CED @ 16, BW @ -2.1, MARB @ 1.49, RE @ 1.45, $B @ 209, $C @ 331. And this bull, like his brothers, has the cowman’s look.

DBICONIC

Flushmate to Lot 11
• Have you ever walked into a pen of cattle and just had to sit back and take a minute to analyze exactly what you were looking at because their “kind” just blew you away? That is the Iconic x Shorita sons. Lot 10 is so bold in his rib shape and center body dimension, and he connects that to a big top and loin edge, with extra power and shape in his hip all the way down to his stifle.
• I’d call this bull a load, and the best part is... his calving ease profile with top 4% WW and YW growth. As a bonus, MARB @ 1.55 puts him in the top 3% with $B @210 and $C @ 313.
ICONICG95SONS

LOT 11 | CIRCLE G ICONIC 2145
Flushmate to Lot 10

• As we continue with the Iconic brothers, “2145” could be even deeper sided and have even more chest width and total rib dimension than his brother. The consistency in their phenotype and genetic evaluation traces back to the foundation donor, G A R Complete N281. This female has truly shaped angus history.
• Let’s study the numbers; CED @ 13, BW @ .1, MARB @ 1.53, $G @ 93 and $B @ 198. This is one of the highest scoring bulls for phenotype I have in my notes. I am confident you will love him too.
ICONIC SONS

• Check out this Iconic son that I have scored exceptionally well for phenotype. “2139” is out of an excellent donor female, Blackbird 8479, and he carries the economically important traits that Angus cattle possess.
• Look at the numbers; CED @ 17, BW @ -2.4, MARB @ 1.32, RE @ .95. And it’s all in an attractive package that displays powerful muscle shape, robust rib dimension and base width that transitions into added growth, performance and fleshing ability.

Flushmate to Lot 14.
• These 2 brothers could have more famous females in their pedigree than any other bulls in the offering. These donors are famous because of the contributions they have made to advance the breed. Cows such as, MCATL Blackbird 831-1378, Sandpoint Blackbird 8809, SJH Complete of 6108 1504, DRMCTR 1I1 Rita 6108.
• Study the figures; top 25% WW top 30% YW, MARB @ 1.76, $C 317 and a powerful look and build.

Flushmate to Lot 13.
• As we look at the second Iconic brother let’s look at the famous sires in this pedigree that have changed the breed. Musgrave 316 Stunner, LD Capitalist 316, V A R discovery 2240, V A R Generation 2100, Connealy Consensus 7229, Summitcrest Complete 1P55. The performance and predictability are present in both bulls, they are ready to advance your program.

LOT 15 | CIRCLE G ICONIC 3025

Flushmate to Lots 16, 17 and 18.
• The first of 4 flush brothers out of the cornerstone donor at Circle G, EXAR Princess 8575. “3025” has the wow factor with his perfect balanced appearance, length of spine, big shapely back and loin, and extra body dimension. This is all supported by big feet and added bone size.
• You must appreciate the calving ease profile combined with an impressive MARB @ 1.75, $C @ 324. I have this bull scored very high and the good cowman will agree and add him to the list of favorites.

Flushmate to Lots 15, 17 and 18.
• When you study this bull, you notice his advantage in growth, WW and YW, both in the top 10%. Impressive across the line as we transition to the carcass EPDs and $Value indexes, with unanimously running in the top 10%. Don’t pass up the tenderness score of 54 on “2244”.

Flushmate to Lots 15, 16 and 18.
• This long yearling brother could be the best balanced in his genomic traits amongst the group. Let’s study his numbers; CED @ 11, BW @ 1.1, WW @ 88, YW @ 157, CW @ 74, MARB @ 1.17, RE @ 1.20 $C @ 330.
• As you study him in person, or on the video, you will see he is stout and burly in his overall build. I’d say he is rugged and wide with a bigger foot and bone circumference compared to his brothers.

Flushmate to Lots 15, 16 and 17.
• As we conclude this set of flush brothers, you will notice this is the up headed attractive bull in the group. The length of body, length of neck, smooth transition from his shoulder through his forerib, into a big deep side, makes him the one that catches your eye.
• Study his figures and he is equally impressive, top 15% for WW and YW, big scrotal EPD @ 2.0, top 4% for hair shed, MARB @ 1.47, $B @ 203, $C @ 333. This is a great set of Iconic sons that will add performance and consistency.

VERACIOUS SONS

LOT 27 | CIRCLE G VERACIOUS 3048
Flushmate to Lots 28 and 29.

LOT 30 | CIRCLE G RATIFIED 3087

Flushmate to Lots 31 and 32.
• We kick off the Poss Ratified sire section with three flush brothers out of the donor female, Rita 8177. “3087” is massive in his rib shape. Many would describe him as soggy built and he compliments that with extra muscle shape in his loin, hip and stifle. If you need a rugged built, burly bull that adds weight to a calf crop, this is a great landing spot.

Flushmate to Lots 30 and 32.
• The theme stays the same. These brothers have that big, deep sided rib shape that allows for added weight and translates into easy fleshing daughters that require less input costs to survive tough conditions. Study the top 10% for both WW and YW.

Flushmate to Lots 30 and 31.
• As I contemplate how to describe this bull, I’m not sure Mr. Gresham will approve but this bull is sappy bellied! You must really appreciate the rib dimension, depth of side and wide chest floor as he ties it all together on a big foot and powerful bone size. Look at the figures; WW @ 94, YW @ 170 with a tenderness genomic score of 17, I can assure you this bull is very intriguing.

• Look at the Ratified son out of Wilks Evergreen 2346. Consistency is the key phrase as “3125” follows his sire with added rib and belly shape with above average muscle dimension.

• Digging into the data we find top
1% CW

• I can say that “2174” is a WOW factor bull and a contender for my top phenotypic score in this offering. If there was a vote for the people’s choice champion, he would be in the final 3. This bull is moderate in his size, wide based from his chest floor to his hip, with so much muscle shape up high. I love his transition from shoulder to forerib, not mention his loin to hip is perfect. I appreciate his soft center dimension, big feet, and the added flex he has at the ground.
• This bull has all the right parts in all the right places, and he has the potential to change a generation in one calf crop. I forgot to mention he is calving ease and over 1.0 for marbling.
BIG TIME prospect.
