Organization Development & Learning We support the stewardship of our associate talent across our ministry by enabling the assessment, improved performance, learning, development and strategic movement of associates and servant leaders to extend our Mission. We also support the articulation, creation and evaluation of an exceptional associate experience, aligned with our desired culture and ministry identity where all our associates can thrive and have purpose-driven careers.
Our focus Associate Experience – Leading with Inclusion Ascension is a ministry of the Catholic Church, and we are called to create an environment for all of our associates where they feel appreciated, have a sense of belonging, feel included, and are treated equitably. As the stewards of the Ascension ABIDE framework, we work to ensure these fundamental behaviors are a part of the fabric of Ascension. Through multiple channels, including the myVoice survey program, we seek to better understand, assess and drive action based on associate feedback to improve the associate experience at Ascension. We are committed to recognizing the value and contribution of every person, promoting an environment that is mutually inclusive and enabling a culture that is founded in human dignity and common good. Change Practice We support the research and design of our Ascension change model: development of practices, tools and resources to drive transformational change, reshape leadership, and enhance leader and team effectiveness | my.Ascension.org tomyHR optimize project adoption and business outcomes.
Talent Stewardship and Performance We represent the integrated processes Ascension engages in to identify and assess talent needs, guide individual and team performance, and support the growth and development of our associates such as: our check-ins, leadership planning and use of Performance GPS. Consulting Network We are internal organization development and change practitioners who leverage current and emerging best practices to enable transformational change.Through consultation and partnership with HR delivery, senior leaders, and project teams, we advise on talent development, leader and team effectiveness, associate experience, and culture across Ascension. Leadership and Associate Development We deliver learning solutions that meet the unique needs of our associates by increasing their effectiveness in current roles and preparing them for future roles. Some of our current programs include National New Associate Orientation, ASPIRE, New Leader Orientation and Leading and Managing in Ascension. Many of our programs are a part of Ascension Leader Institute offerings (see p.16).
