Outline You will further develop your technical ability, creativity, stamina and musicality in a variety of different dance techniques. Work will become progressively more challenging, focusing on extending your range and strengthening your technique in the core musical theatre dance repertoire of jazz, ballet and tap, supported by pas de deux classes and underpinned by a supervised fitness regime. Overall Aims • to further develop your competence and confidence in jazz, ballet, tap and pas de deux • to further develop an understanding of the theory and history of dance in musical theatre • to further develop an understanding of the human body to avoid injuries and develop technique and freedom of expression • to further develop the relationship between acting, singing and dance What will I be expected to achieve?
