1.2.1 Third Year Productions Students will be required to perform a 15 minute extract of the production which must include elements of all three disciplines of dance, singing and acting. No production values will be assigned to the re-sit other than playback facilities, and students must source their own collaborators, e.g. performers, creatives, production and technical support. Alternatively, permission may be granted to submit a Special Scheme of Study in place of a re-sit. 1.2.2 First and Second Year Projects Students will be required to present a five minute (First Year) or ten minute (Second Year) solo extract or abridged version of the project. Sound equipment will be provided as necessary for playback of accompanying music. 1.2.3 Classwork Re-sit tasks will be set appropriate to the component which has been failed. Re-sits will normally not be offered where a student has failed more than one module or more than two components of a module. 1.2.4 End of Year Assessments Students will be required to repeat the task set for the original assessment. 1.2.5 Written Assignments Students will either be required to resubmit a revised version of the original assessment task, or may be required to submit an appropriate replacement task. 1.2.6 Number of Re-sits Re-sits will not normally be offered where a student has failed more than one module or more than two components of a module. The full re-sit regulations are set out in the assessment regulations at the back of this handbook.
