Our Activities

Studentsareinvolvedinavastarrayofathletics,arts,travel,service, academic competitions, and clubs. AOSR offers 9 student leadershipclubsandorganizations.Wehave5varsitysportsteams. Ourschoolofferseducational/sportstripstoEuropeeachyear. Ourperformingartsdepartmentproduces15concerts,theater productions, and art exhibitions annually. We also have an extensiveservicelearningprogram.

After School Activities

AnAOSReducationmeansaworldofactivitiesoutsideofthe classroom,thuspromotingamoreversatileandbalancedlifestyle. Eachstudentfindswaystoshineindividuallywhileexploringtheir passions.ActivitiesrunfromMondaytoFriday,3:30-5:00pm.

Our Parent Teacher Organization

TheParentTeacherOrganization(PTO)playsavitalroleinAmericanschoolsintheUnitedStatesandabroad,drivingcommunity-buildingeffortsand workingwithteachersandtheschool'sadministrationtohelpprovidethebestlearningandsocialenvironmentpossibleforourchildren.AOSRhascarriedon thetraditionofhavinganactiveandvibrantPTOthroughoutitshistory.OurPTOwelcomesallparentsinterestedinjoiningtofosteracaringandspirited community.

Ouralumninetworkspanssixcontinentswithconnectionsinover 40 countries. In 2018 over 300 alumni attended AOSR’s 70th AnniversaryCelebration,andin2022,AOSRwillcelebrate75years!
