Carolyn was the wife and best friend of husband Ray for 57 years She was born in Halifax to the late Alfred and Eunice Livingstone on September 27th, 1946 Carolyn and Ray raised Jeff and Ryan with love and affection in Sherwood, PEI
Since 1981 Carolyn’s contributions as co-founder and matriarch have been instrumental to the success of the family-owned and operated businesses over the last 44 years Carolyn was visionary in her thinking and approach to expanding the company and having a positive community impact
Carolyn devoted her life to the family businesses and her children She was humble, selfless and never wanted to be the centre of attention Despite her entrepreneurial success, her top priority and legacy was her family She loved to spend time with them and enjoyed family travels Her five grandchildren were Carolyn’s pride and joy She was loyal to attending their activities – basketball, dance, football, gymnastics, hockey, music, skating, soccer and swimming
Our family has lost a beloved wife, mother, mother-in-law, and grandmother (Nana) We are so fortunate to have someone that makes saying goodbye so hard There are no goodbyes for us as Carolyn will always be in our hearts and minds
Many healthcare professionals and healthcare teams were there to help Carolyn on her journey to live We are grateful to all involved
As many of you are probably aware, Carolyn Murphy passed away on March 22
She is survived by her husband Ray Murphy, her sons Ryan and Jeff, as well as her grandchildren and many nephews and nieces
Carolyn was a dynamic, entrepreneurial spirit who was instrumental in the growth and success of the family-owned and operated businesses over the past four decades Despite her successes, people were always top priority for Carolyn In 2021, during an interview celebrating the 40 anniversary of Murphy’s Pharmacies, Carolyn talked about her and Ray’s extended work family “They’re part of our family,” her and Ray said “In life, there’s biological family but there’s also work family These people are our work family And I say this with all sincerity - we love them ”
This spirit has been at the heart of everything we do at Andrews It is, in my opinion, Carolyn’s greatest legacy. Her commitment to community, to personcentered care and to family has made a positive impact on the lives of countless people, as evidenced by the crowds of people who attended her wake. She will be missed

Everything is waking up and coming to life. The first flowers are daffodils and then the robins and birds come. The sunshine, the warmth of it, that lovely sun. - Camilla MacPhee
I enjoy watching things grow And mostly of every spring when the flowers and things come up in the woods, there’s all kinds of different flowers that grow in the woods. They just multiply, they’re beautiful. - Nancy Bourque
asked. . .
residents what they enjoy or look forward to most about spring.
I always had a garden. We did a vegetable garden. We always put a few potatoes in and beets, loved beets, that’s one of our favourites. We put a fairly good variety in. - Betty Madren
I don’t like the snow so I’m glad that the snow is gone. I just like it when it’s fresh. - Mary Ratelle

I like to see more sunshine and the snow leaving. I like to see the grass start to become greener and the flowers blossoming. I’m addicted to flowers, I think. You can get outside and sit in the sun if it’s not to hot. You don’t have to worry about whether you have a jacket. - Debra Gallant
The coming of the pretty flowers, the warm weather. We always had a garden home. - Jean Profitt
The weather. It’s nice out, I get out more often. I do a lot more walking. I’ll go from here up to the Wal-Mart. I’ll do that two times a day. - Marvin MacEwen
I enjoy the new growth of the flowers, the trees sprouting all the leaves, the birds coming back and going to sleep at night and listening to the birds singing I love the spring. - Lori Henderson

Making flower beds I love tulips, daffoldils, geraniums. I grew up doing that with my mom in Morell.
