As I always tell my clients, fitness doesn’t have to be hours in the gym. Between 20-30 minutes each day is an excellent start. Choose healthier foods because you love yourself and you want to feel like your best possible self. Remember food is fuel, not punishment. Try not to think of all the foods you can’t eat and think of all the delicious foods you can eat that are good for your body. Feeling guilty about indulging is counter productive. Enjoy a treat here and there and eat lots of nutritious meals. Take things day by day and try not to be too hard on yourself. Loving and caring for yourself is a process that begins with patience and practice. As was said by the late British actor, Robert Morley, “To fall in love with yourself is the first secret to happiness.” 46 ShopInRI
