Mesahat was established on September 5th 2015 to work on identifying and reducing security risks, and eliminating the social & cultural obstacles that are faced by sexual, and gender minorities in the Nile Valley Area (Egypt & Sudan). Mesahat works to create the means and tools for LGBTQI activists to carry on their work safely and contribute to creating stronger and more connected trans/queer* geographies.

Position Purpose Coordinate all organizational logistics and administrative responsibilities to ensure the smooth-running of all project activities.
Working Hours 40 hours per week

Key Objectives of the Position
The key objectives of this position are:
The Logistics and Admin Coordinator will coordinate all logistical and administrative activities that ensure the smooth running of the organization's projects and program activities and events.
● Comply with financial, holistic security, and HR guidelines in the execution of logistical tasks during activities and/or events.
● Maintain and report on financial and administrative records as relevant during events and activities.
● Implement and plan the execution of the necessary logistical and administrative infrastructure to support the organization’s events and activities.

● Comply with financial, holistic security, and HR guidelines in the execution of logistical tasks during activities
● Monitor actual expenditures on a monthly basis and report to Resource Allocation Supervisor
● Maintain archives for all all relevant receipts and documentation for activities and events

● Review and assess requests for relocation funding based on established criteria and guidelines.
● Review and assess requests for psychological support funding based on established criteria and guidelines.
● Process and disburse funds to beneficiaries in a timely and accurate manner, adhering to all financial regulations.
● Identify beneficiaries with needs exceeding the organization's direct service scope.
● Establish and maintain existing relationships with service providers, ensuring clear communication and streamlined referral processes.
● Facilitate smooth transitions between Mesahat Foundation and other service providers involved in the relocation process.
● Track referrals and monitor the progress of beneficiaries receiving external services.
● Communicate effectively with beneficiaries, staff, and external partners.
● Contribute to the continuous improvement of the relocation assistance program by identifying areas for enhancement.
Qualifications or Certificates
Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or a relevant field or relevant diploma or certifications in administration and logistical management
Years Experience 1
Scope of Experience Event planning, personnel management, not-for-profit coordination

Knowledge of spreadsheets, documentation, and archiving
