Sayre Grants Brother William ‘Bill’ Sayre understood that the AGR Brotherhood has an important life-long impact on Alpha Gamma Rho brothers. The Sayre Fund was established when Brother Sayre provided gifts to the Educational Foundation specifically to promote inter-chapter relations and cooperation. Simply put, the vision of Brother Sayre was to give chapters the opportunity to come together through social, educational and leadership activities, designed to further sow the seeds of fraternalism. Chapters can submit a Sayre Fund proposal through the AGR website under the Foundation section. All proposal forms are due annually on October 1. Events supported by the Sayre Fund have included the AGR National BBQ competition, the AGR booth at the National Farm and Machinery Show, the Fraternity’s involvement with National FFA Convention and many other worthwhile events. Cultivating a greater strength of brotherhood is of even greater importance as uncertainy still looms. Brothers, both alumni and undergraduate, should look for ways to engage with others across the community and the country. With a greater understanding of the technology at our finger tips, now is the best time to take advantage of what the Sayre Grant has to offer! Apply today, connect with brothers tomorrow.
