The Educational Foundation of Alpha Gamma Rho is a not-for-profit corporation funded by voluntary contributions and investment income. The business purpose of the Educational Foundation is to receive and invest contributed property and to distribute such property to qualifying organizations or persons for charitable, educational purposes. These charitable and educational purposes include the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954 (or the corresponding provisions of any future United States Internal Revenue Law). Organized in 1965, The Educational Foundation of Alpha Gamma Rho operates as a tax-exempt, not-for-profit 501(c)(3) corporation and public charity under the laws of the State of Illinois. The employer identification number is 36-6158409.
