MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS MONTH
Mental Health Awareness Month, observed every May, is a national movement to raise awareness about mental health, fight stigma, and support the well-being of individuals across all walks of life. It’s a time to recognize that mental health is an essential part of our overall health—and to ensure that everyone feels empowered to talk about it openly and seek help when needed.
Cinco de Mayo, celebrated on May 5, marks the Mexican army's 1862 victory over France at Puebla. While minor in Mexico, it's a major U.S. celebration of Mexican culture, featuring festivities, music, dance, and food.

No Cinco de Mayo celebration is complete without a bowl of fresh guac! Here’s a quick and crowd-pleasing recipe to whip up for any celebration:
Ingredients:
3 ripe avocados
1 lime, juiced 1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup diced onion
2 Roma tomatoes, diced
1–2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro
Optional: 1 jalapeño, finely diced (if you like some kick!)
