This month, we installed a new Spam Filter: ProofPoint Essentials. This Spam Filter is designed to weed out the junk in our emails and keep our inboxes as lite as possible.
Sometimes, the Spam Filter works a little too well and catches things that are legitimate. The Digests are a way for you to review what was caught and give you a chance to release it.
Before we get into the HOW, let's first review the differences between the types of emails that might be caught.
SPAM: These are newsletters, bulk emails, typical inbox clutter. These are typically SAFE but ANNOYING. These can be released by anyone.
FRAUD/PHISHING: These emails are more serious. There was something about the email that came off as SUSPICIOUS or a THREAT and needs to be reviewed by an Admin before being released.
It's never been easier to open a ticket with the Allied Help Desk! There are three primary ways to open a ticket. Email us your woes at helpdesk@allied.tech. A brief description and some screenshots would be ideal! Call us at 888-800-7889

a. Locate the Allied Logo down by the clock
b. Right click the Logo
c. Select "Help Request Form"
d. Fill out your issue and contact information and hit "Send"!

Please remember that it is vital that we submit tickets for IT Issues. This helps keep everything running smoothly and efficiently! This also allows us to track patterns, so we can correct those chronic issues that cause the worst headaches!
