SANTAPARK is Santa’s underground cave where the happy elves live! In summer, they have lots of free time for games, and they will be happy to meet you. And there’s truly a lot to do at Santapark! First, you can attend the Elf school and learn some secret elfish skills, practise traditional elf writing at the Elf Workshop. Then, go for the Four Seasons sleigh ride, visit Mrs Santa’s cafe and taste her gingerbread cookies, and have fun at the Angry Birds Activity area. Once you’ve done all that, go find the Ice Kingdom and say hello to the Ice Princess! Of course, Santa will also be waiting for you in his office!

HOP-LOP & ROLLO-HALLI are two huge adventure
parks, situated 3 km from Rovaniemi centre. Here kids of all ages can play and exercise with their parents and have some fun! When it is too cold outside, this is the place where you can play all day without limit. Vast labyrinths, trampolines, Ninja Warrior obstacle course, big foam pits and bowls, mini-cars…it’s so much fun here! Hop-Lop is dedicated to younger kids aged 0–12 while RolloHalli welcomes kids older than 7 and teenagers.

HUSKY DOGS are absolutely adorable animals! The best place to meet them in Rovaniemi is Bearhill Husky Kennel 25 km north from the city. Huskies love to be petted, and they will be very happy to meet with you. There you will receive a guided tour around the kennel facilities and gain a thorough insight into the life of huskies. Mushers will give you a short ride with a cart if the temperature is cooler than 15°C. Otherwise, it is too hot for the huskies to run. ‘Life of the Husky’ tour lasts 2 hours and is available 4.6–31.8.2019 from Thursdays to Saturdays. The price is 89€ for adults and 53€ for kids. When it gets cooler in autumn, you can do a thrilling 30–40 min husky ride with a cart in the forest. Huskies need to be fit before the winter season, and you will get a feel for how the dogs are prepared to be the amazing athletes. ‘Born To Run’ tour start 03.09.2019, if the weather is cooler than 10°C.
