adventure companion along with my Leica and a Rolleiflex, and some other high-definition digital camera. In this co-existence, the phone camera started to humbly gain the upper hand in its own right. In fact, in the last two years, it has ended up winning its place in my equipment with as much dignity as its iconographic ancestors, as an important complement, not only from a technical and documentary-wise standpoint, but also as a tool with its own imprint and versatility against any challenge. I am sure that it is the fastest and simplest camera to get into action. This toy has introduced me to new worlds, and had me rekindle with bygone emotions in total freedom. Without my being aware of it, it broadened my way of looking as an artist, leading me to play as freely as when I was a child. Telephones and digital systems in constant evolution account for great 21st-century technological contributions. They have become an indispensable component in life, and I have no doubt that in the future, their evolution will grow exponentially . Their use and the growth of social networks have brought global photography to the foreground, turning it into a great online visual school. The digital age has changed the classical paradigm of photography, invented in 1839 with magical cameras and labyrinthine chemical processes. Now, the possibility of taking photographs is in the pockets and hands of millions of human beings, whom with their phones communicate with each other and generate the miracle of changing the universal way of looking because in a millisecond they create either imperishable or disposable images. exhibit. In one, he uses a low-angle shot to show a fragment of the Statue of Liberty and in the other, the back of a sculpture described as a lion’s tail. In both images, the monumentality and sensuality of the lines are perceived. The two images show the artist’s mastery and enormous sensitivity. In the case of the Statue of Liberty, its majesty occurs not only because of the point of view, from the bottom up, but also because of its symbolic connotation. The enveloping fragment of the mantle not only expresses what it eludes, the whole piece, but it can also be seen as such: an abstraction. That is a mound of folds, enveloping and sensual lines that seem to move, with no more contrast than the sky and the stony base that supports it. Summing up; the cleaning of visual elements that gives prominence to the lines, the effect of framing, and the double reading of the image shows everything that Sessa’s work expresses and reveals. Humor is a recurring ingredient in his work. Some examples are present in the exhibit. These are situations of everyday life or images taken from some public places that lend
