The Alberta Sports Hall of Fame exists to honour the accomplishments of Albertans in Sport. To us, this means developing long-lasting relationships with our Alumni to show them they are honoured and celebrated after their induction ceremony. This relationship often goes both ways with our esteemed alumni coming to visit us at the Hall and attending events and fundraisers.In2022wesawourAlumnisupportusinanumberofways.

Atour2022GolfTournamentwehadanumberofHonouredMemberAlumni attendasparticipants.SomenotableattendeeswereLannyMcDonald,Brian Sutter,LeslieSproule,DaleHenwood,andHughMcPherson.

Honoured Member Alumni Kelly Sutherland represented and spoke at the GrandePrairieSportsAwards.

We had three Honoured Members Alumni in attendance at the Lethbridge SportsHallofFameInductionofAshleyPatzer;Dr.GaryBowie,MaxGibb,and GeorgeGemeraswellasmembersfromourSelectionCommittee.

Honoured Member Alumni Dr. David Legg spoke at a number of schools about adaptive sports and used his connection to the Hall of Fame to promotetheHallandourotheradaptivesportsAlumni.

Many of our Honoured Member Alumni give back by sitting on our Board of DirectorsandparticipatingonavarietyofcommitteessuchastheSelection Committee and the newly forming Alumni Relations Committee. Currently the Chair of our Board and the Chair of the Selection Committee are HonouredMemberAlumni.

Throughout the year we had 24 Honoured Member Alumni stop in to visit us attheHall.
