The Alberta Sports Hall of Fame recognizes the builders and champions of sport and celebrates their performances and accomplishments. We see the remarkable role sport has played in shaping our great province. EachHonouredMembernotonlyexcelledintheirsportbuthasimpacted their communities through selfless pursuits and inspired innumerable Albertans.

Fundingsupportsourongoingmissiontoraisetheprominence,currency, and relevance of sport in the future of Alberta. We respect and honour Albertanswhohaveachievedthehighestlevelofaccomplishment.Since inception,morethan1600deservingAlbertanshavebeeninducted.

TheAlbertaSportsHallofFameisaninteractive,hands-oncelebrationof Alberta's sporting history. Our over 7,000 square feet of exhibit space includes a multisport area with virtual baseball, basketball, football, hockey, and soccer, a 200-meter wheelchair challenge, a Treadwall climbingwall,theOrestKorbuttTheatre,HallofFameGallery,andmuch more. Our Hall has over 17,000 artifacts of Alberta sports history in the collection and showcases many of these items in a number of displays. TheAlbertaSportsHallofFamealsooffersaneducationprogram,group activities, and a unique environment to rent for your birthday party, specialevent,corporatereceptionormeetings.

The Alberta Sports Hall of Fame is registered with Alberta Societies and are a registered charity governed by a volunteer Board of Directors who delegatesoperationalresponsibilitiestotheExecutiveDirectorunderthe direction of the Chair of the Board. The organization is sustained by a dedicated volunteer base that supports the organization in the delivery offundraisingeventsandprograms.
