UCAT Preparation Course
In early September, before A-level teaching commences, Albemarle students applying for medicine and dentistry participate in a course to help them prepare for the UCAT test. Most students taking the UCAT course will be new to aptitude tests and so they are taught strategies to help them tackle the test, as well as given a thorough explanation as to the structure and content of each test. They then focus on practising questions, identifying weaknesses and study techniques. Students are also given revision packs to take home for further practice. Students may sit the UCAT at a Pearson VUE Test Centre. Students will know their results immediately after the test. (See UCAT website for full details: https://www.ucat.ac.uk/ucat/ucat-2020)
