CHARLES UNIVERSITY, Prague, Czech Republic
Charles University in Prague is the oldest and largest university in the Czech Republic. Founded in 1348, it was the first university in Central Europe. It is one of the oldest universities in Europe in continuous operation and ranks in the upper 1.5 percent of the world’s best universities. The faculty of Medicine is close to the city centre of Prague, the capital city of Czech Republic. Prague is beautiful and know as “The City of One Hundred Spires”. The faculty provides education in all fields of general medicine. The First Faculty of Medicine with almost 1,200 staff members and 3,400 students represents the largest medical faculty in the Czech Republic. The majority of clinical instruction takes place at the General University Hospital in Prague.
Entry Requirements:
The Faculty of Medicine requires the completion of at least three A Level subjects. All A Level subjects must have grade C or better. Two of them must be either Biology, Chemistry or Physics. A third A Level can be any other subject. In addition, applicants are required to sit a general science entrance exam which can be sat in London.

CARDENAL HERRERA, Valencia, Spain
There are currently more than 600 students at the school of medicine of the CEU Universidad Cardenal Herrera (UCH-CEU). Many of the students come from the UK and other English speaking countries. UCH is located in Moncada, a northern suburb of Valencia. With almost 800,000 inhabitants, it is the third largest city in Spain. Valencia is located 215 miles south of Barcelona, on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea. The city is beautiful and has a rich cultural history. It also has excellent transportation links with other major Spanish cities. From the airports of Valencia and Alicante there are regular flights to international airports.
Entry requirements:
English. The test comprises multiple choice questions on science and general knowledge. In addition to the exam, to assess Spanish language skills, applicants are given a 10 to 15 minute interview in Spanish. Final A level grades or predicted grades will also be taken into account.

DEBRECEN UNIVERSITY, Debrecen, Hungary
Situated in Hungary’s second city, the university offers internationally respected programmes in Medicine and Dentistry. This large and historic university has been educating students since the 1500s. Being one of the largest faculties anywhere in Europe, this is a great opportunity for students who are committed to study Medicine or Dentistry in a world class university. Debrecen is also easily accessible via its own airport serviced from London and is only one train journey from Hungary’s capital, Budapest.

No specific A level grades specified. Entrance examination in Biology, Physics and Chemistry (written and oral).

IULIA HATIEGANU, Cluj-Napoca, Romania
Iuliu Haţieganu University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, is the oldest medical education institution in Transylvania. The university has over 6,000 national and international students, 2,400 resident physicians, as well as over 1,100 teachers and researchers. It was named in honor of the scientist Iuliu Haţieganu. Cluj-Napoca is historic and roughly equidistant (~320km) from Bucharest, Budapest and Belgrade. Located in the Someșul Mic river valley, the city is considered the unofficial capital of the historical province of Transylvania.

Citizens of the EU, are eligible for application by evaluation of the documents attesting school performance and personal achievements.

MEDICAL UNIVERSITY PLEVEN, Bulgaria
Pleven Medical University has been at the forefront of medical education in Bulgaria since it was established in 1974. Pleven is located in the northern part of the country. This historic town a major economic centre of the Bulgarian Northwest. This is certainly not a provincial medical school. Medical University Pleven was the first in Bulgaria to establish an English language medical programme. Medical University Pleven is renowned for its advanced medicine; home to a specialist centre for telecommunication robotic surgery.
Entry requirements:
The average mark in Biology and Chemistry should be equal or higher than 62% of the possible maximum in the country. Entrance examination in Biology and Chemistry.
