OUTGOING GLOBAL VOLUNTEER
Developed by AIESEC, these opportunities aim in sending abroad young South African between 18 and 30 years old to enhance their leadership, innovation, global perspectives, and functional expertise. About Global Volunteer: The projects are aimed to help communities around the world.
The projects are aligned to UN's 17 Sustainable Development Goals. Thus, making the projects really diverse: education, health, empowerment, environment conservation, etc.
The projects also portray an immersion to the culture of the country.
Participants can learn new hard and soft skills
Participants can enhance their knowledge from school
Participants are encouraged to apply their experience in South Africa once they come back from their travel.

FAQs GLOBAL VOLUNTEER Does Global Volunteer have a price? The Global Volunteer experience is R 2000Â
What does it include? It includes: - A cross-cultural experience abroad - 24/7 assistance before and during your experience abroad. - A preparation seminar before you depart from South Africa - A preparation seminar when you arrive to the destination country of your experience. - A Welcome Seminar in South Africa once you return from your experience - A Certificate from the UN Is there any other payment I should be aware of? - Transportation from South Africa to your destination - Passport - Visa (if applicable) - Daily expenses - Travel Insurance - Experience fees (Some volunteering experiences you apply too may require an extra payment to ensure accommodation during your stay among other expenses. It is your right to ask how this fee will be used.) Paying for volunteering? This question often comes to us. We see Global Volunteer as an investment. Youth unemployment is a serious issue in South Africa. It has been demonstrated that people who engage with volunteering experiences have a higher chance of getting a job aligned to their expectations. Hence Global Volunteer is not only aimed to students but to all of South African youth willing to boost their potential.Â
TOP OPPORTUNITY! MOZAMBIQUE! South Africa and Mozambique are neighbors, yet there's little involvement between them besides international trade. This winter, AIESEC wants to enhance the abilities of 20 young South Africans so that they can develop the bonds between nations.
PROJECTS: Education for kids: the objective is to co-work with educational institutions in preparing and delivering classes through educational activities and encouraging children and teenagers to express themselves in English Special Kids care: the objective is helping children with special nee. Activities include: speech therapy, hygiene, alimentation, and technology
