It is a forum where inspiration and collaboration convert into action. YouthSpeak Forum is a premiere event that brings together both young and senior leaders to form a diverse cross-sector and multi-generational space for inspiring conversations around pressing global and local issues. During Action Spaces delegates work on social projects to act upon United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Through implementation of projects created during event, we’re supporting reduction/exclusion of social, economical, ecological and educational issues in our society, while engaging youth, other organizations and our Partners.
Theme of Block I „System failed or it’s us?” This Block aims to find the differences in our educational system and employment market to find solutions for them during Action Space I.
„By 2030, we need to ensure that all learners acquire the knowledge and skills needed to promote sustainable development. We can do it through education for sustainable development and sustainable lifestyles, human rights, gender equality, promotion of a culture of peace and non-violence, global citizenship and appreciation of cultural diversity and of culture’s contribution to sustainable development ” More about UN SDGs: http://www.un.org.pl/
Theme of Block II „One gram of practice is better than tons of theory” This Block aims to find the answer for the question regarding the skills and values, which are crucial for young people, but they’re not receiving and developing them through traditional education. We’ll talk about all alternative ways to develop such skills and behaviours in youth, basing on external opportunities in like-minded organizations, company with advanced HR processes to meet „in the middle” and create projects, that will cover this gap during Action Space II. „By 2030, we need to substantially increase the number of youth and adults who have relevant skills, including technical and vocational skills, for employment, decent jobs and entrepreneurship” More about UN SDGs: http://www.un.org.pl/
Theme of Block III „No Smoging, please.” This Block has to highlight the facts and already undertaken actions of activist groups enagaged in building awarness about pollution and ecological issues, that we’re facing in Poland. There will be also an opportunity to see different points of view between company and other organizations regarding above topics, find solutions and convert them into projects during Action Space III „By 2030, substantially reduce the number of deaths and illnesses from hazardous chemicals and air, water and soil pollution and contamination” More about UN SDGs: http://www.un.org.pl/
