Project Architect

The ideal candidate has a passion for design and sustainability. We value self-starting curiosity, teamwork, and experience in design, documentation, & CA phase for complex and innovative Education, Hospitality, or Workplace projects. This position will have an emphasis on K-12 projects with our internationally recognized Education practice, however we are a growing office with an entrepreneurial spirit, which leads us to working in multiple practice areas. Position Summary: As a Project Architect at DLR Group you will be responsible for managing all aspects of project design and document development and coordinating with all project team members to maintain the quality of the work product within the established project schedule for projects. As part of our integrated design teams, you create buildings that elevate the human experience through design. You will partner directly with the Project Manager and Project Designer to ensure the financial health of the project, the original vision of the design, the quality of project documents, team collaboration and communication. Additionally, you will lead the crossfunctional design disciplines in developing technical and design solutions.

The successful candidate will

• Have a passion for design, and the craft of making buildings

• Have a comprehensive understanding of, and the ability to coordinate and lead, the design disciplines indeveloping technical solutions.

• Possess a high level of technical proficiency in the production of drawings.

• Have knowledge of all aspects of professional practice from schematic design through project close-out.

• Be able to work and present ideas in a team environment as well as selfmanage and self-motivate in acreative environment.

• Work directly with Project Managers and Designers in the conceptual development of project documents.

• Grow as a leader of the in-house team, coordinating with engineers, interior designers, the PM andconsultants

Required Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience as a Project Architect which ideally includes K-12 or higher education projects.

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or related field.

• Licensed Architect•Proficient in the use of REVIT and CAD computer modeling and rendering software.

• The ability to travel occasionally to support project tasks.Preferred Qualifications

• AIA Credential•Understanding of Building Envelope Design

• Understanding of integrated and Sustainable design

• Sketching skills

Architectural Drafter

POSITION Full-Time, Permanent Architectural Drafter

We are currently seeking an intermediate architectural drafter with experience in commercial and hospitality project types.

ABOUT US LEBODESIGN is a boutique architecture and interior design firm located in Las Vegas, Nevada. This is a rare opportunity to join our team of A-players as a full-time employee. We are a multi-disciplinary, design-centric studio with a reputation for high quality drawings, personalized client service and attention to detail. Our studio specializes in commercial projects including office, multi-family, and high end restaurant and retail spaces across the Southwest.

MUST HAVES

• Minimum of 5 years relevant experience

• Proficient in CAD drafting using AutoCAD Architecture 2D

• Ability to navigate 3D Sketchup models and translate to 2D drawings

• Ability to read CAD drawings, architectural documents, and engineering drawings for commercial and residential project types

• Ability to interact professionally with principals, employees and consultants

• Attention to detail and quality of work

• Must love dogs

PRIMARY TASKS

• Assist project manager and principals with creation of construction documents

• Review red-lined drawings and make necessary corrections

• Ability to measure and produce as-built drawings independently

• General understanding of architectural specifications

• Research local building codes and records
