Audience members who have never seen a live version of the show are labeled on the forehead with a red lipstick “V” and are encouraged to do traditional, innocent things during the preshow. The audience watches as “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” cast acts out the movie during opening night. The audience members received prop bags containing items they were encouraged to use throughout the show, such as rice, hats and squirt guns. A “Transylvanian” applies makeup before opening night of “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” midnight viewing. Cast members acted out the movie while it played on a projector behind them. The live midnight premier was an interactive show between cast members and the audience.
