MARK YOUR CALENDAR AUGUST 2018 KMC » Dog Jog: The next Family and MWR Sports & Fitness fun run is all about the dogs of our military community, and the humans who love them. On Aug. 25, bring your furry family member to the Rhine Ordnance Barracks Special Event Center. Registration is open from 8 to 9 a.m., and the run will begin at 9:30 a.m. Dogs must be on a leash and friendly. Registration is $7 for adults, free for children and fur children. The first 100 registrants receive a free t-shirt. Prizes will be awarded for the top finishers in three categories of dog (small, medium, and large) and will receive a dog appropriate prize. This event is stroller friendly. There will be a live DJ performance and lunch will be provided by the USO. Enjoy giveaways and the chance to win a dozen great prizes, including the grand prize of $1,000 in European Travel through Army Outdoor Recreation. Speak with local representatives from throughout the community, and learn about Family & MWR services and programs.
