Bad Dürkheim is proud to say that two of their local wineries are in the top 10 list of Germany’s 100 best wine producers. To celebrate, the city invites you to a romantic guided walk through vineyards and cloister ruins in Limburg every Friday and Saturday until April 30 including tasting five wines and one sparkling wine at selected stops along the way followed by snacks with an open end. The group (5 to 25 people) meets at the fountain near the parking lot at 6 p.m., please call the tourist information center beforehand to register. The tour costs €31. EVENTS Following Flora’s footsteps Fri, Apr 1 Bad Dürkheim, Kurpark Discover Bad Dürkheim’s Kurpark (spa garden) in all its flowery glory as well as its newest attraction, river Isenach, which flows past bridges, sandstone basins and cascades. Two gardens exclusively open their doors for the group to introduce you to their botanical rarities, every Saturday until April 30. Six palatinate delicacies (sweet and fluid) await along the way of the 2-hour guided tour starting at the Tourist Information center at 10:30 a.m. Admission costs €8 and includes all snacks. We guarantee that there will be no painful barefoot paths to cross here and every child and adult will be utterly amazed by the bricked-masterpieces of this exhibition, which will be open until October 31.
