Bud Bucks Budweiser’s biggest ever consumer promotion, ‘Bud Bucks’, was created and delivered by Velti. Throughout 2007, over 500m bottles of Bud carried a unique code and encouraged consumers to redeem their ‘Bucks’ at a specially created website or by texting the code to a short code. Each code rewarded the consumer with anywhere between five and 100 ‘Bucks’ which then allowed them to go online or visits the WAP site to bid for money-can’t-buy prizes or purchase Bud merchandise.

MOBILE INTERNET SITE

A truly interactive 3D web experience ‘Bud Boulevard’ was created, where Bud drinkers created accounts and banked their ‘Bud Bucks’. This enabled consumers to bid in classic ‘Highest Bid Wins’ auctions as well as ‘Lowest Unique Bid’ auctions with prizes ranging from Premiership football tickets, trips to watch drag racing in the US and a genuine 1965 Ford Mustang! We also allowed consumers to spend their ‘Bucks‘ in exchange for official Bud merchandise – clothing, games and gadgets.

We created a mobile site that allowed consumers to log into their accounts and place bids on the top five auctions taking place every day. The site featured downloadable content giving Bud a constant presence on thousands of mobile handsets across the UK.

eCRM We developed and delivered a complex eCRM and SMS programme that contained competitions, access to exclusive content and showcased upcoming auctions.

Carlsberg

•  Beck’s, as a sponsor of the Lenny Kravitz concert in Bulgaria engaged with Velti in an on pack mobile campaign in an effort to promote the brand, boost sales, build brand loyalty, and create excitement by associating the brand with a big music event •  A unique code was printed on Beck’s bottles. Consumers had to send the code via SMS to a short code or register on the promo web site for a chance to win prizes instantly, such as concert tickets, CDs of Lenny Kravitz, iPod shuffles etc.
