The second WADA Golf fixture for the year was held at the Gosnells Golf Club on Friday, March 25. Glorious autumn weather and a challenging course in excellent condition were enjoyed by 24 keen golfers.

The day was generously sponsored by Dentsply-Sirona. Russel Redpath from Dentsply joined us for golf. We subsequently enjoyed the company of Dentsply representatives Leanne Patrick, Tom Teo and Gerald Koning for a post-match catch up. Leanne kindly presented the Dentsply winner’s prize to Russell Gordon. Our thanks to Dentsply-Sirona for their ongoing support of WADA Golf. Scoring for the day was strong and tight, with the winner and place getters being determined on a count back. Congratulations to Russell Gordon for his victory on a fantastic score of 39 stableford points. Commiserations to Ian McCarrey who also scored 39 points but was unable to match Russell on the back nine and consequently took second place on a countback. Graeme Washbourne showed a return to form after a debilitating wrist injury to take third place on 37 stableford points, on a countback from Dean Martin. Garry Bishop from Health Practice Brokers secured fifth place with a fine score of 36 points.
