WINGS NEWSLETTER Vol 17, Term One, Week Eight, 19 March 2021 Dear Parents and Friends of Sunderland We’ve had another full week at Level One, and at last the school is getting into the rhythm of the teaching and learning journey. Part of the journey is reporting back to parents. Therefore, last Friday, you will have all received an interim report detailing feedback on how your child has begun the academic year. Then, on Tuesday and Wednesday, there was a further opportunity to get more detailed feedback and feedforward from your child’s teachers. From my perspective, this process went very well, but I am aware that some staff were absent on one of the nights, so please do not hesitate to make another appointment at a mutually convenient time if so required. I appreciate parking in and around the school currently can be frustrating, as we gave up sixty car parks with the construction of the new Preschool. We will get many of those parks back early next year but I do understand this does cause some issues from time to time – as seen on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon. I have also allocated some staff to assist you in the car park before and after school. I do ask that we all are respectful of Mrs Eldridge and Mr Jensen (Mr Mark) the caretaker. They are doing their best.

OPEN DAY – SATURDAY 27 MARCH FROM 10.30AM TO 2.30PM
