Have you ever wondered why, in moments when no one is watching, something deep inside whispers, “This is right… this is wrong”? That quiet voice often dismissed as mere imagination is actually God’s divine guiding system, placed within your spirit. The human spirit is a three-part framework consisting of conscience, intuition, and heart, each designed by God to keep us spiritually alive, alert, and aligned. What we feed these aspects of our spirit determines the life we live. When our conscience is consistently nourished by the new covenant realities, we walk boldly in our faith.
Covenant consciousness is not merely a spiritual concept; it is a lifestyle! It means waking each day with the awareness that God has already perfected us through Christ and that His guidance flows within us by His Holy Spirit (Hebrews 10:14). Our conscience is God’s built-in compass, whispering truth even in the absence of formal instruction. Paul affirms this in Romans 9:1, acknowledging that the Spirit bears witness within us. However, we should bear in mind that the conscience is not indestructible; when not exercised in righteousness, it can be dulled, attacked, or even seared. When that happens, our sensitivity to God’s voice diminishes.
Maintaining a living conscience requires intentional effort. Paul exhorts us to “exercise ourselves to always have a conscience void of offence toward God and man” (Acts 24:16). Ignoring this divine guide invites guilt, shame, and weakened faith, while cultivating it strengthens integrity, daily responsibility, and the good fight of faith. When your conscience is alive, your intuition is sharp, and your heart is fully in fellowship with God, you are equipped to navigate life with clarity, courage, and victory.
This edition invites you to reflect, nurture your spirit, sharpen discernment, and guard your heart. May these pages inspire renewed commitment and victorious living!

Eleven years ago, on 16th November, 2014, a great leader and visionary legend of generational proportion gifted me with one of his books titled: “Strategies for Extraordinary Living”. In its opening pages, he penned down this charge to me: “Minister Joseph Enyimu, Dream big, expand and impact your world”
Back then, those words seemed remote to me. My world and walk of faith then were still small and at an infant stage. My world revolved around my discipleship relationships and ministerial responsibilities at church, my young and growing family and the excitement from the confidence my management in the marketplace was having in me. I had just received a second promotion within a year about a month before this great leader gifted me with his book.
That promotion in the marketplace positioned me as Head of a department that is considered the Think Tank of the country’s economic development. I was one of (if not) the youngest Head of Department at that point. Timidity and feelings of inadequacy would occasionally storm my mind. Thank God, however, for the messages of faith that I had sat under in the 20 years that preceded that promotion (since 1994). They proved very helpful in stabilizing my response to the critical tasks that increasingly made their way into my in-try.
Fast track to 2025, I find myself in a very different world from that which I was when that inspirational leader charged me to dream big, expand and impact my world. Indeed, my world today is far larger than I had ever imagined back then. That charge was prophetic. The expansion that has taken place in my world is wide ranging: from personal to national leadership, from family to community leadership and from enterprise to industry leadership. This article is not the place for me to tell you the scale of opportunities and the magnitude of responsibilities that I have been entrusted with since I received that charge. You can learn about some of these online for yourself.
November 2025, Abundant Life Faith Centre, an epicenter for potential awakenings and hope revivals; and a church family that God has allowed me to preside over following the departure of its founding pastor in November 2020, marks 36 years of proclaiming hope for a better tomorrow. I believe the charge that great leader gave me 11 years ago has a lot to do with what we, the church family and friends of Abundant Life Faith Centre, are celebrating on our 36th Anniversary. The great leader who gifted me his book is no other than Dr. Handle A. Leslie; and we are celebrating the work God begun to do through his life and ministry under the theme: Leadership for a Lasting Legacy.

HEADHUNTED BY HEAVEN ( (Part 1)
Imagine you're going about your day—whether navigating bustling market stalls, managing your home or deep in a corporate project – when suddenly, you get a call from a head-hunter, not for a job you applied for, but because your unique skills and reputation have been meticulously sought. They've found you! They deem you the perfect fit for a crucial role. This powerful feeling of being uniquely chosen and valued for a specific purpose profoundly mirrors a spiritual truth that applies to every believer.
The ultimate Headhunter is the Creator of the universe; you've been headhunted by Heaven. This isn't random. God intentionally chose and strategically placed you for your particular contribution to society, no matter your profession or role. We often separate faith from daily work, but the Bible shows God's intimate involvement in all aspects of our lives, from market vendors to professionals. He equips each of us with specific talents, positioning us for a preordained purpose. As Acts 17:26-28 confirms, God marks out our appointed times and places, underscoring that your very existence and current location are not accidental but divinely proposed.
Unlike human headhunters, God's selection criteria transcends mere human credentials. It is instead rooted in His sovereign love and eternal design. Jesus Himself declared in John 15:16: "You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you." This implies that God has chosen us not only for salvation but also for specific roles to bear lasting impact through our endeavors.
This divine election is a pervasive scriptural theme. Isaiah 44:2 reassures us, "Fear not... whom I have chosen."; and 2 Thessalonians 2:13 reminds us that God "chose you as the firstfruits to be saved." These passages highlight a celestial recruitment process where God precisely selects individuals for a sacred purpose.
Consider Joseph, who, though unjustly imprisoned, was "headhunted" by God for immense influence in Egypt, saving nations from famine through his administrative and interpretive skills. Similarly, Esther, an orphaned Jewish girl, was chosen from many to be queen of Persia, divinely positioned to avert her people's annihilation. The Apostle Paul, a zealous persecutor, was dramatically "headhunted" by God on the road to Damascus, redirecting his life's work to become a foundational figure in Christianity. Like these biblical figures, your divine selection is deliberate and strategic, designating you for His grand design in your daily endeavors and life's journey.
Testimonies
Nakawa,Kiira| Just a week before the last term of school 2025 began, Pastor Wycliffe’s daughter, Abigail, was struck by a sudden illness that seemed to have developed overnight yet carried the weight of weeks of suffering. What began as severe flu-like symptoms quickly escalated into breathing difficulties that demanded emergency hospital visits. Nebulizer treatments brought momentary relief but left her violently shivering. A series of tests, including TB screenings, brain MRIs, and heart and endocrine examinations, all returned negative results, leaving doctors puzzled. Despite her weakness, persistent headaches, and inability to walk properly, no physical explanation was found. While some doctors recommended inhalers or antidepressants, her father chose to reject them, believing the ordeal to be a spiritual attack. Throughout this period, Abigail remained resilient, standing on the promises of God. She continued attending school remotely, performing exceptionally well academically. Through unwavering prayer and daily biblical declarations over her life, Abigail gradually regained her strength to walk and function normally. Praise the Lord who prevails over life’s darkest battles!
Kajjansi, Nsaguu| One evening James had a dream. In his dream, he found himself fighting two energetic men; however, he perceived that he was being helped by a supernatural hand and was able to evade all the attacks launched at him. He awoke from this vivid scene praying in tongues and immediately narrated the ordeal to his wife. The two engaged in a prayer of agreement and spoke the Word of God over their lives, then slept again. In the morning, they reorganized their program and decided that their children would board the school van. James and his wife drove out a few minutes later headed for work. Their car, which was functioning well, suddenly failed to brake and started speeding down a slope. It hit a short signpost, changed course, continued forward, and came to a stop by itself on the other side of the road. They thank God that the road wasn't busy at that time; there were no cars or people in the road, and their children were not in the car. James and his wife praise God for preserving their lives.

A Creative Prayer Life A Creative Prayer Life
For many of us, it's time to allow God to breathe new breath into our prayer life! Face it, we are creatures of habit and easily fall into the rut of rote. What I mean by that is we may know how to pray and even the church lingo that goes with it, but have our hearts grown cold?
Through prayer we commune and know God, but we also open ourselves to be known by Him. We open our lives in obedience and worship.
Recently while leading a Bible study dealing with prayer, I caught myself saying that prayer is communication with God. Communication involves talking "with" someone not "at" them or even just "to" them; it's a balance of talking and listening that brings a connection. And that is true, but prayer is so much more...it is communion with God. Prayer connects us to God in such a way that we become encompassed by His presence and power!
We speak of "prayer life" because prayer is to be a constant part of our daily lives. Think about the times that most of us do pray—at church, during our quiet times, before meals, before bed, and in times of crisis.
1 Thessalonians 5:17 tells us to "pray continually" (NIV), "without ceasing" (KJV and NAS), "at all times" (Message).
Throughout... we've compared Bible study to eating—which brings about nourishment and growth to our spirit. Let's think of prayer as “breathing.”
Just as breathing is essential to our physical lives, so our prayer life is essential to our spiritual lives.
Breathing consists of both inhaling and exhaling. Likewise, prayer is to be not only a process of talking to God but also listening to or receiving from God.
True prayer is a way of life, not just for use in cases of emergency. Make it a habit, and when the need arises you will be in practice.”
