BEHOLD! “Behold, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.” Isaiah 43:19
Have you ever noticed in Scripture that when an angel wants to talk to someone, or God is sending a message of encouragement, it often starts with “Behold?” That’s because God is ALREADY up to something and they are being encouraged to pay attention and see the beginning of something new or amazing. This is true here at Abiding Hope as well… BEHOLD! Over the next few months, I challenge you to Behold. Behold how many new faces and families are attending worship each weekend. Behold how many children are coming up front for children’s messages. Behold how each worship service invites you to spend time in contemplation and challenges you to live out your faith at home, work, and school. Behold how many times you hear about small groups and the transformation taking place as they gather together. Behold how many servants are in action each and every week in the life of Abiding Hope. This year, on April 18 & 19, we will launch Generous Life 2020, which is a 2-year financial appeal to give sacrificially above and beyond your Forward in Faith giving. In the coming months, you will begin to hear about the vision and scope of this initiative. God is already up to many amazing things and we want Abiding Hope to be positioned to accomplish these great things and more. Behold! God is already doing great things in and through Abiding Hope!
